Guest house holiday rentals in Ventura County

This spot is GREAT. It feels private, but it is still walking distance to everything fun in Ojai. It can be a bit tricky to find at first, but Tonya provides great instructions so I recommend reading those! Definitely would come visit again

The host Linda was very responsive. We were evacuated due to the Palisades and other wild fires, and we were very disappointed! But Linda called in the middle of the night telling us we had to leave. Power went out eventually in the unit and we returned quickly to retrieve all of our belongings. We were able to go and stay with friends we were supposed to be visiting. Since the situation was so terrible, we arranged to leave early for our second destination and Linda was very gracious about refunding our early departure and Airb&b was very helpful and refunded our entire stay. Hopefully, when we return for our son’s wedding in May we will have the full experience!

Overall an incredible experience! Very clean. Very comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Good communication. The view is insane. Pictures don’t do it justice. A well needed relaxing getaway in nature away from the city. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at the Oaks and Avo RV. If you enjoy the outdoors, nature, and a super relaxed place to recharge, this is hard to beat. It's about a 5-minute drive to downtown Carp, but the RV itself is in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, tucked into the foothills. We were traveling with our dog and this retro RV and the lovely private yard around it was just what we needed.

We had one of the most memorable family vacations ever at Vicky‘s place. The accommodations were stellar, and exceeded all of our expectations. The natural setting delighted us every day. It was the perfect support for our daily forays out into Santa Barbara and environments. Also of note, the lovely patio with bistro table provided the perfect early morning and late afternoon setting for relaxation and leisure. Vicky and her cohost Gary were very welcoming and helpful in providing information about the area. Definitely the place we would return to on this part of the planet!

Karla’s little house was a great place to stay while attending an event in Ojai. The place had all the amenities and was very clean.

Beautiful, private cottage setting in Summerland. 15 minutes away from Santa Barbara, where we attended a wedding. The place is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Super quiet at night, private, and we had breakfast on the cozy front porch!

Perfect place for our anniversary weekend! Close to our wedding venue at Calamigos for when we went for a spa day, but also close to the beach for a romantic dinner! So being centrally located was ideal! The Airbnb was also perfect place to come back to after a long day in the sun! Comfy bed, with AC, we loved just cuddling up, watching a movie and relaxing with the view!

This guest house located in the far back of the yard has a semiprivate feel. Top notch new build. Free coffee and creamers. Full size appliances except for washer and dryer. The deck at the guest house is perfect for hanging out in the afternoon if the weather is good.

We had a great stay at Gina’s. It is in a prime spot. Walkable to Summerland and an easy drive to Santa Barbara. Easy parking and a car charger for EV. I would definitely recommend.

A great play to stay if you are visiting Ojai. Peaceful and serene, and 10 minute drive to everything. We would def recommend this place for couples and families. Travis and his wife are welcoming and make you feel right at home.

Easy check in, comfortable place and easy access to LA proper. Definitely recommend!

Jennifer was the nicest and most accommodating Airbnb host I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from. Her place is a little slice of heaven in Southern California. She was extremely accommodating and the house was exactly as she described. If I’m ever back in the area, this is the spot I want to be!

Stayed for 2 weeks and it felt like a home away from home.. Taber was very responsive and instantly replied to my queries... The place had all the amenities required to eat, sleep and chill... will again stay whenever i visit LA...

Everything was perfect I forgot a tooth brush and she even provided that! I felt right at home! Will definitely rent again! Thank you for everything!

Ron is such an accommodating host. The grounds on the farm are nothing short of breath taking. My golden and I would walk around the property fascinated by all of the different fruit trees and plants. I came to find out that it’s a microclimate which allows for more tropical fruits to grow! If you want a peaceful getaway, this is a great option.

Such a wonderful relaxing stay! Amazing views of the beautiful mountains and a very peaceful surrounding. I had a blast!

Simply the best. The photos can’t do justice to the sweeping canyon views, sunsets, or the local wildlife, birdsongs, and wildflowers. Billy, Lori, and their sweet dog Dora were so friendly and welcoming, they felt like family after 5 minutes. Location was ideal for us, about equidistant between Malibu and Thousand Oaks, and we spent a lot of time at the beaches but always looked forward to getting “home.” There are so many exquisite spots on the multiple patio decks to enjoy the fresh air and nature that you never relax the same way twice! It’s also located right near the Backbone Trail and we enjoyed hiking and running several sections of it. Oh and can’t forget the bed— it’s a literal dream. I think I had some of the best sleep of my life here. Overall 10/10. Great panoramas, great price point, great people. We will be back.
