Waterfront holiday rentals in Venice

Great spot to stay in Venice! Meeting the host to check in was great (having phone service was important to arrange the meeting), as it would have been hard to find on our own - but once we did, it was easy to return! Close/walkable to a Traghetto and many things to do/eat/see! Balcony was lovely in the evenings, even if shared. Only tricky spot was we had to find the hot water heater to turn on (cold shower the first night), but otherwise amazing stay, and a great spot!!

We stayed 6 nights in Claudia’s beautiful Venice apartment and felt right at home. It was stylish and spacious and set in a perfect quiet location close to one of the main walkways. Loved being on a canal! The bed was comfortable and found it a place to relax from the busy city. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay - an absolute gem.

This is the second time my best friend and I have rented this stunning apartment because we love it so much! You are 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco and 10 from Rialto yet it is quiet which makes it the perfect respite from crowds! The apartment is thoroughly modern; it’s as if you’re living inside an editorial spread in Architectural Digest magazine! Note it has three staircases to climb, which was never a problem for us but might be harder on those with mobility issues. The sleek bathroom is spotless with both a soaking tub and luxe shower. A modern washing machine on-site is a great convenience. Internet is lightning-fast. Both bedrooms are spacious with elevated linens and glamorous light fixtures. We left only this morning and have already started planning our next dream visit! The lovely host feels like a friend and takes special care to ensure your every comfort! If it’s available for your dates, book it immediately! As a travel writer this is the best place I’ve ever stayed!

Real beautiful Venetian apartment. Quiet area good for families. Lots of restaurants nearby and short walk to amazing sights and experiences in Venice. Apartment has plenty of room and is clean and tidy. We loved our stay and look forward to coming again.

Such a fantastic apartment and beautiful spot that this was a return trip. Olivier the owner - and his friend Alessanrdro who met us for check-in, were wonderful hosts. The corner apartment, with aspect onto the canal and to the Arsenale square is simply hard to beat. Impeccably renovated and a pure delight to relax in when taking a break from walking the streets of Venice. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us.

What amazing stay and apartment. The location is unbeatable, by one of the top sights and steps away from the Piazza. Also by every type of transport. The apartment was pristine and comfortable. And Ilaria is the ultimate host, we were welcomed with instructions, tips, a map and a super handy binder with great information. We look forward to coming back!

The communication with Uto was great! We had a small issue with the heating and Uto and Nicola were very prompt in solving the issue. The flat is cozy and well-located. It's in a quite "touristy" area though. Soundproofing between the two bathrooms is not good: turning on the ventilation helps. The bedding was very comfortable! Overall a very nice experience. If this flat is available for your time frame, don’t hesitate. Possibly the best place I ever rented. Excellent location, pristinely clean, Great beds. Carlo went above and beyond to show us are surrounding area and highlights. Take his advice on the bakery and restaurant. So happy we were able to experience this place. I would go back. Thanks

The serene location with the most beautiful views. The home was larger than expected and beautifully decorated. Perfect to pop over to Venice for the day. Venice is too crowded to stay. We prefer relaxed areas. I will tell everyone I know to come and enjoy your lovely place. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Marco's house. It is very pleasant, the private garden is a very appreciable plus, the house is very well maintained, well arranged, and very clean. The neighborhood is much quieter than the more touristy neighborhoods that can be easily reached on foot or by boat. Irene, who was our contact during our stay, was very attentive to our requests and informed us each time with great responsiveness and efficiency. We really enjoyed staying in Venice in this neighborhood and in Marco's house.

This is a beautiful apartment. It’s modern and decorated beautifully. Right on the canal with cafes and restaurants within 200 feet. We loved our stay. Catrina and Nicole were very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. We would come back for sure and definitely would recommend this place.

Unusual to find a small house with a garden like this in Venice. The check in was easy, Afra and her friend Barbara were very concerned with making sure that we were settled and gave us plenty of restaurant recommendations. The house is clean and spacious just a few minutes walk from Palanca stop in a very quiet location. The garden is a sun trap and very welcome as a quiet place to sit away from the hustle & bustle of Venice.

La Casetta Rosa directly overlooks the canal, in a quiet, quiet, authentic place in Venice, close to the station but away from the busy tourist routes. A small house, on two levels, but which has everything you need to spend good days in the city, recommended! Elena, the host, was very friendly and always responsive in her communications.

We really loved Chiara’s place! Our flight was delayed over 5 hours and Chiara kept in touch with us to make sure we arrived alright. Even in the dark, it was not too difficult to find and the location was perfect! Just enough out of the way to not be crowded, but close enough to everything we needed. We especially loved having our own private ensuite bathrooms.

Such a cute place with great views! The apartment was pretty spacious and Giacomo was very responsive and so friendly. We went to a couple of the food recommendations he left in the welcome binder which was very helpful. The shower is very small and there are a lot of stairs to carry your bags up but those were things mentioned in other reviews so those things weren’t a surprise for us. Loved staying here!

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! The most amenities, very clean, well stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, etc. Beatrice let us at the pier and helped us with our luggage and showed us where the place is, along with some restaurant and grocery store recommendations. She is soooo organized, very nice, the place was very roomy, decorated very nicely, and was in the heart of everything! Highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay! Not a super touristy location but super close to the hotspots you’ll want to see!

Markus was great, always willing to help and the place was great too. The only thing that bothered us was the mosquitoes, so just heads up about the mosquitoes to be better prepared

A true gem! The balcony really adds a unique dimension; to be able and watch every day life in Venice was so interesting. The apartment is in easy walk of great cafes and restaurants and handy for The Vaporetto and water taxis. We travelled with my 89 year old mother and were very grateful for the flexible check in after our early flight. We ate out each meal, so easy with so many great places in easy walking distance. Amongst our favourite, for breakfast was San Giovanni Vini e Cicchetti for fabulous chichetti !

Highly recommended! Monica was extremely responsive, helped us book water taxis, provided recommendations for restaurants and was hospitable and friendly. The home is stunning and exactly as pictured if not better and had all accommodations needed. We loved our stay here.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Venice. Great location - could walk everywhere and near to restaurants, shops and major sights. The apartment was also very peaceful being on a quieter street. Easy short walk from nearby San Samuele vaporetto stop - we were met by our host who was responsive and helpful regarding any queries we had. We were also able to check in slightly early and leave our bags for a few hours after check out which was a big help. Thanks very much, I’d highly recommend Enrico’s place and would happily stay there again.
