Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Venice Gardens

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The house is exactly as described and it is SO spacious. It’s only 7 minutes from Manasota Key Beach and when you go, it has plenty of parking and amenities. Also, Joshua responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

We had just one short week and would always love to come back. The large bed in one of two bedrooms lets you sleep so well, just perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of plates/cups/everything you need. Plenty of towels, umbrella and chairs for the beach (Manasota beach by car approx 10 min). Outdoor shower even for furry friends. Pool nice, clean, just great. The nicest garden of all houses around. All thumbs up.

What an amazing find and would highly recommend to anyone. A beautiful, peaceful location and a beautiful home which I can only describe as homely and pristine. The host was extremely professional and friendly. I cannot stress to anyone else that this Airbnb is fabulous and worth every penny.

We only stayed here to sleep one night between jobs for work and it served that purpose well. The beds were comfortable and there were blackout curtains in each room, which was extremely appreciated. We liked the split floor plan with the kitchen smack in the middle of the house with access from both sides. Very nice for having privacy between rooms. The only thing I would mention is that there is a noticeable smell upon entering. I’m almost certain that a former smoker lived here and that smell is just in the walls and ducts. I am 7 months pregnant and sensitive to smells, so that was a little tough for me and was even noticed by my husband and our friend as well. I was surprised none of the reviews mentioned that. If you’re sensitive to former smoke smell, this may not be the place for you. However, in spite of all this, I do feel the home is a great value for the nightly rate and we had a positive experience during our short time there.

Our family loved our stay here. We all had our own space to relax. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and was beautiful! The pool was clean and was perfect. We spent a lot of time relaxing outside. Friendly neighbors and less than 10 minutes from everything

Our purpose for the weekend was to disconnect from the noise, stress, and rush of everyday life. The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood, easy to find, and we did decompress! The house had everything we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen much but there looked to be everything. The bed was very comfy. We had an issue with the tvs and contacted host. There was someone there in 5 minutes to help. (Turns out the previous guests had changed the input. ) All of our outings were less than 15 minutes away - beaches, restaurants, shopping, and nature. We had a great time. Venice is a gem of a place to relax - such a different atmosphere from our day to day. Hope to be back sometime in the future.

Just got back from a wonderful weekend at Alex’s Airbnb! The photos do not do this home justice. It was extremely clean and Alex was very responsive. We had two additional requests and Alex responded promptly and went above and beyond to execute them. Thank you for the wonderful weekend, we hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb home. The house was spotless and exactly as described. Although the pool was small, it was cozy and perfect for relaxing. The heater was always on, making it a lovely spot to unwind. What really impressed us was the safety feature around the pool - a secure gate that prevented our toddler and dog from accessing the pool unsupervised. This gave us huge peace of mind. One of the rooms had a clever setup with two twin beds, and one of them had a convenient slide-on feature that allowed it to convert into a king-sized bed. It was super easy to assemble and worked perfectly for us. The house had everything we needed, and its location just nine minutes from the beach was ideal. We enjoyed collecting shark teeth and spending quality time together as a family. Overall, we had a wonderful long weekend, and I'd highly recommend this home to others, especially those with young children or pets.

Great house with everything you will need. The matress in the master bedroom is very hard but it doesn't take away from the house.

We loved our stay! This home was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. John provided excellent tips on local eateries and attractions in a book on site. Communication was seamless - responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. Impressed by the attention to detail. This home is very well appointed - the kitchen has everything needed for a stay at home meal, your morning coffee or just a snack in front of the giant TV. Location was great - close to Englewood and Venice, many beaches, restaurants and shops to explore as well.

Kellie's place "The Aqua Oasis" was everything we were looking for. It was bright, clean, comfortable, well decorated, spacious, stocked well, and only 10 min or less to the beautiful and tranquil waters of the Gulf. The pool was nice to take a dip in and the fact that she accepts pets is great for us canine owners! Also, Kellie was a very prompt communicator which was appreciated when we needed her. If I'm ever back in the Englewood area, I'll definitely stay again.

Mariana's place was perfect. Very clean and equipped with everything needed. Location was central to many restaurants, grocery stores, and boat ramps. The pool was pristine and a much needed retreat for the hot days. Mariana was a responsive, friendly, and hospitable host. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Ellie & Dee’s place is amazing! It’s a small space that can accommodate solo or couple travel - brought my small pup along too! The space was clean with plenty of towels provided as well as beach towels and chairs. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful to walk around. I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. It’s less than 5 min from shopping centers and the beach. I loved staying here and would recommend this airbnb to anyone considering it!

We just loved this place. It was as advertised and more. The house was well stocked with the essentials and more. Ample supplies of TP, Tissues, Paper towels soaps linens, dish & clothes washing supplies etc. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the applainces, coffee maker, mixers, etc. Plastic wrap, bags, foil etc. as well as a nice selection of spices, oils & vinegars ( something you do not see in most rentals.) The beach supplies were in great shape. We used the kayaks several times as well as the bikes. There were bike tools, a tire pump, dog walking buggy - all in great shape . The location was terrific in a nice neighborhood with lost of old growth live oaks & easy access to the beaches & restaurants. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Would rent again. Kaylee was responsive in every way whenever we needed anything. Well maintained & in excellent shape all around. Todd & Val

If I could give this home 10 stars, I would! This is the only Airbnb we’ve ever returned to, and we’re already planning our next stay for our family of four. The home instantly feels welcoming: fresh flowers, snacks on the counter, even a fridge stocked with cold drinks.. little touches that make you feel like you’re visiting a friend’s house and not a rental. Janine is a wonderfully responsive and thoughtful host. The home is spotless, cozy, and stocked with all the things you might forget to pack (sunblock, toiletries, even slippers). The towels are plush and plentiful, there are extra linens and blankets, and the beds are incredibly comfortable; we slept so well after our days at the beach! Most importantly, you truly can’t beat having a beautiful, quiet beach right in your own backyard. This house is a gem.

Melinda’s place was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at, beautiful decor, had all the amenities one could need (including beach accessories), perfect location close to all the beaches/food/grocery, etc. her check in/out instructions were easy, no hiccups with anything. I would highly recommend without hesitation and plan to stay here with every future. Thank you, so much!

A very comfortable stay for our group of four for a competitive rate too. We loved the modern amenities spacious layout of the property. This property was conveniently located, allowing an effortless drive to the coast and to town. Jonathan was friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Nice house with lots of amenities. Enjoyed using the hot tub every day. Loved the neighborhood and all the wild life. Beds were comfortable, AC is great and house sits in a very quiet neighborhood. Loved the closeness to the beach. Great Airbnb.
