Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Velsen

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei Thomas und Britt. Leider waren wir aufgrund von Stau zu spät dran und konnten deshalb nicht persönlich von den beiden empfangen werden. Aber sie waren super verständnisvoll und haben und toll erklärt wie wir in die Unterlunft kommen. Der Kontakt war immer sehr nett. Das Haus ist super süß und sauber. Der Garten ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A beautiful house with an amazing garden. Perfectly located to go to the beach or visit Amsterdam or other cities around. We had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere in the house with its view over the stunning garden is amazing. Our kids very much enjoyed the toys. And the bathroom is heaven. Annemarie and Daan are extremely friendly and responsive. 100% recommended.

This house is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. It truly feels like visiting a close Dutch friend. The neighborhood is stunning—like a fairytale. The streets and houses are full of greenery and charm, a true delight to the eyes. The house is filled with family warmth and clever little touches. It was spotless and perfectly prepared for a comfortable stay. We were truly amazed by the welcome. When we walked in, we found a generous selection of delicious food. Fresh flowers were beautifully arranged around the house. Peter was incredibly friendly, we really appreciate his effort! He was always available, and we’re grateful for such a warm welcome. The garden deserves its own praise—it’s like a scene from a postcard. Sitting there with a cup of tea and enjoying the fresh air was pure joy. The location is excellent. Beautiful, scenic coastline is just a short drive away. Staying in this home was like stepping into a cozy, magical world. We truly hope to return someday! 🫶

Frans und Tessa haben ein fantastisches Auge für Design. Besonders das Erdgeschoss mit lichtdurchfluteter Küche und dem Esszimmer mit Zugang zum Garten waren gemütlich und einladend, um dort zu essen und schöne Abende zu verbringen. Am Steg konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen und die Nachbarn waren super freundlich. Bis nach Haarlem Zentrum sind es nur wenige Fahrminuten. Die beiden haben sich viel Zeit genommen und bei der Ankunft und jederzeit zwischendurch alle wichtigen Fragen beantwortet. Für uns war die Matratze im Doppelbett sehr weich und das nächtliche Lüften war etwas kompliziert, wenn man die großen Fenster nicht komplett geöffnet lassen möchte. Alles in allem aber eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Tolles Haus geeignet für Familien mit Kleinkinder. Küche und Haus generell mit alles notwendiges und modern ausgestattet, schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Der Garten ist sehr schön mit kleinen Spielecke für die kleine Gäste. Falls wir wieder im Region kommen, würden wir gerne wieder den Unterkunft buchen!

Very nice home, terrific kitchen and living area, nice bedrooms, and garden. We rented bikes nearby and toured around the area like the locals! We cycled through the dunes to the beach a couple of times, one of the group had a chilly Spring swim in a nearby lake (would be much warmer in summer). Trains were within 5 minutes walk and, from there, very easy to get to Amsterdam, Utrecht and other places in the Netherlands. We really liked the local supermarket, which is also easily walkable.

Toutes les consignes fournies par Maya ont été très utiles pour faciliter l’arrivée sur place. l’emplacement est idéal pour accéder sur place aussi bien aux boutiques de centre ville qu’au centre commercial. L’espace de vie de la maison est très agréable et tout est prévu sur place : draps, serviettes, galets pour lave vaisselle, et un minimum pour être autonome (sel, poivre,…).

We verbleven een weekendje in de mooie woning van Manon en Robin. Voor ons was de ligging ideaal: 500m wandelen van het station en zo richting Zandvoort aan zee en Haarlem. De prachtige tuin en het terras waren ideaal voor het ontbijt en de rustmomenten. De woning was prima in orde, alles was voorzien. Enkel de manier van afval scheiden/ inzamelen was ons niet geheel duidelijk ( glas en papier dan) dus dit hebben we dan maar buiten bij elkaar gezet... Verder zeker een aanrader!

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

Tolle Wohnung mit fantastischer Aussicht! Top Lage! Die kleinen Defizite in der Wohnung wurden prompt und schnell beseitigt. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Reception. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We had a great stay at Jorrit’s apartment! It’s in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and close to multiple tram lines that go into central Amsterdam. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed.

This stunning apartment is a lovely home away from home. We were able to make ourselves cozy and to easily cook breakfast. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk from central Haarlem but we found it very easy to navigate. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Recommend!

Tolle Unterkunft, wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos. Der Ausblick aufs Meer einfach traumhaft . Es war nur ein Kurztrip, hat sich aber wie ein längerer Urlaub angefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit gern wiederkommen. Haben uns super wohlgefühlt.

My friends and I had a great stay in the property. The house was clean and cozy. It was peaceful with a cute rabbit Bambi outside in the barn :)

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

We had the most fantastic week at Ivo's home. The house itself was spotless and we were welcomed with a beautiful basket of treasures for our stay as well as lovely soft bed linen and towels. It's very tastefully decorated and has all the amenities we required. A real home from home. The location is excellent. It was just a few minutes walk to the local shops and we especially loved the ice-cream boutique which serves the most delicious flavours. We used the train a few times to get to Haarlem and Amsterdam and the station is a short walk from the house. We didn't need to use our car the whole time we stayed there, preferring to cycle or walk. I cannot recommend Ivo's home highly enough.

Excellent apartment! Superb neighborhood (plus a mega bakery and an excellent supermarket within walking distance). The apartment is well-equipped. Clean, wonderfully furnished. It looks smaller in the photos than it is. The size is impressive. The heart of the loft is the SONY audio system and a nice vinyl collection. Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality!

We stayed at Heleen's place with our family including our 2.5 yeard old daughter and our 11-month old sun and my parents at Heleen's place for a long weekend and had an amazing time! The location is fantastique if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet neighborhood close to nature (walkable) and beach. The house has a beautiful garden for kids to play in (including trampoline) and inside the house has all the amenities you need. We absolutely loved it as an escape from our normal city-life, this is an Airbnb experience you would not be able to get in any other way!

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allen Vorzügen für einen herrlichen Urlaub. Es hat ein tolles Ambiente mit großem Platzangebot. Die Garderobe ist groß und hell. Der Wohn-und Essbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Küche hat alle Eigenschaften (Geschirrspüler auf Stehhöhe, tolle Kaffeemaschine, super Herd, Quooker, Geschirr und Gläser - sehr schön). Das Gäste- WC im Erdgeschoss hat ein tolles Design. Die oberen beiden Etagen haben eine sehr stilvolle Ausstattung von hoher Qualität mit schöner Beleuchtung. Das Bad ist voll ausgestattet, ebenfalls sehr hochwertig. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön gestaltet mit mehreren Sitzplätzen mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre, auch überdacht. Es war alles perfekt sauber und wunderschön, wie auf den Bildern. Die Lage ist ideal für kurze Wege nach Alkmaar, Amsterdam und ans Meer. Der See in Akersloot ist um die Ecke. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Daphne und Mark sind tolle Gastgeber. Vielen Dank!

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

We had an amazing stay at this stylish home! The decor is modern and chic, making it a lovely place to relax. It’s also very family-friendly, which was important to us as we were traveling with young children. The space felt safe and welcoming for little ones, with plenty of room for them to play. The location is perfect – just a short drive to both the beach and the city center, so we were able to enjoy the best of both worlds. Whether we wanted a day in the sun or exploring the local attractions, everything was within easy reach. Our host was incredibly proactive and helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with great recommendations and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was another highlight, being well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish home.

Ein absolutes Schmuckstück direkt am Kanal – ein Traum für Design-Liebhaber! Dieses Haus ist einfach ein kleines Paradies mitten in Haarlem! Die Lage direkt am Kanal ist nicht nur malerisch, sondern auch herrlich ruhig – perfekt zum Entspannen. Der kleine Garten ist eine grüne Oase, liebevoll gestaltet und ideal für einen Morgenkaffee oder ein Glas Wein am Abend. Die Inneneinrichtung ist außergewöhnlich – modern, exklusiv und mit ganz viel Gespür für Stil und Atmosphäre. Jedes Detail ist durchdacht, jedes Möbelstück scheint mit Bedacht ausgewählt. Man spürt sofort: Hier hat jemand mit Herz und einem feinen Sinn für Design eingerichtet. Die Betten sind herrlich bequem!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this elegantly furnished and decorated beach house - very clean and comfortable with lots of interior space, nice backyard, and easy access to area amenities, e.g. walking distance to the beach, local coffee shops & stores including train station to Amsterdam. Located in a very nice, quiet, & charming neighborhood. I highly recommend this place!
