In town, you will find all the services you need: tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, ATM, swimming pool, and more. From the natural hot tub at the center of the well-maintained cottage site, you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. You will stay in one of our four studio-style 2-person cottages. They range from 30 to 36 square meters in size and feature different decoration. You can choose to have one large double bed or two single beds in your cottage. Please state at the time of booking which one you require.

We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

We provide a nice and cosy flat on the lower floor in a two-story house with a garden and ocean view from bedroom, kitchen and living room. The cabin is quite well planned, open and relaxing with stunning picturesque scenery, as one of a handful of cabins in a secluded area. The cabin is very cosy with a rustic touch, to make your experience as wonderful as possible. We have a fire in the living room ( firewood and Firestarters only provided when possible.) With two double sized beds (140cm) and a sofa bed in the living room so perfect for families and small groups of 4-6.

Eyri seaside houses is a cozy, warm and brand new guesthouse with a great ocean view, located on our small horse farm. We are located at Hvammstangi but still super private and the only thing you see from the apartments are the ocean and landscape. There are a lot of birds at the beach and there is even a chance that you will see some seals. Every now and then we get some whales in the fjord but it has to be your lucky day to see them.

Beautiful and quiet location. Can walk out right to the water and watch the birds. Large dining and social area. Kitchen a good size. Bathrooms were spacious and clean, but none are located on the third floor - one is on the second floor and the two larger ones with laundry machines and showers were on the first floor.

Great vibe, somehow very relaxing although a bit Spartan, but it hit the spot. Don’t hesitate to try the hot tub, ask how to use it, it takes 2-3 hours to fill up but, man, it is worth it. The walk up the hill is also a gem, I found a piece of real Icelandic white quartz by the waterfall river. 5 out of 5

I stayed for one night during my long road trip and it was fantastic accommodation! Atmosphere of this place is charming. Quiet and calm place, exactly what is needed if you need to rest afer a very long road trip. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Steinunn is friendly and helpful.
