Farmstay holiday rentals in Varmland County

Antoni is a really nice guy that it was a pleasure to rent from. Rural surroundings. Very font stay and will probably rent here again if I'm going to Sunne.

There were six of us (2 adults / 4 children) in the property and we felt very much at home. There is a lot of space available that even rainy days can also be spent beautifully with many people. In the evening, there were regular moose from the house in the distance. In the nearby lake (10 min walk) can be bathed and fished. Thank you for the great time!

The house of mona invites you to relax and enjoy nature. It is lovingly decorated and well equipped. Enjoy the time there!

That was the most lovely holiday i had in a lot of years! The cabin is really cosy and the surroundings are just stunning. Most beautiful set up internal and external. A lot of things you can do on the property all very well maintained and all this in the beautiful countryside of the rural sweden. Lakes and a creek are you at the back of the property and directly accesible. And then you have the most lovely landlord Anki helping you whenever you need anything. all i can say is a big Thank you for having the opportunity to enjoy 2 weeks out there.

Our second vacation in Hova was just as nice as our first stay. The chapel impressed us again with its charm. The location just outside Hova is ideal. You are completely undisturbed and at the same time quickly on the highway or in a few minutes at the supermarket in Hova. Victoria responds quickly and is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to the next visit!

We’ve had such a pleasant stay, everything was perfect and I definetely recommend everyone to try some activities at the ranch:) thank you for such an amazing weekend!

Beautiful cabin completely down by the lake in stunning surroundings.

We were greeted with a nice message and a cold beverage in the fridge. Lotta is very responsive and easygoing. The Airbnb is clean and clutter-free, and the bed is medium/soft and comfortable. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. There is a nice bathing spot a five-minute car drive away (SMU Sutterod or something like this). Arvika is easy to reach by car. There is a lot of information material about the region and hiking trails available in the AirBnB, and we highly recommend a hike in Bergs Klätt. Bring something for the barbecue; they have two fireplaces. :) All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this place. Although there seem to be currently no animals on the farm (06/2025).

Carin & Gert were absolutely wonderful hosts! They made us feel at home. It would be hard to find a more peaceful place to stay. We wished we had more nights to stay. We would give Carin’s place our highest recommendation. We would definitely stay again if we were back in the area. Thanks Carin & Gert!!

Our goal was Hammarö golf club, which was only about 5 minutes from the accommodation, which was perfect. The cottage is cozy and modernly decorated and had everything we needed. The loft had a low ceiling, making it impossible to sit upright.

We stayed five nights in Celine's cozy and "typical Swedish" accommodation. We spent our time collecting chanterelles, fishing, with numerous great moose encounters as well as relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace. That's why it wasn't hard for us to leave some comfortable habits and enjoy the luxury of simple things.

A nice little house on a farm in a quiet location. Cows, sheep and chickens as neighbors. We had a great time there.

We loved staying in this warm, modern and at the same time authentic house, in the middle of nature. Judith was very welcoming and responsive. The bedding is wonderful! There were 6 of us and everyone had room.

This place is a dream. You have an absolute secluded location with cows in front of your door. Bengt is an absolutely good host who takes care of everything and responds to questions immediately. He is super fond of children and fun for everyone. Even if the communication was not always easy (can only speak Swedish), we always understood each other well. All around there are many possibilities of things to do. In the 3 weeks, we didn't have a day where it was boring. So if you like it really quiet but still live centrally, it is a perfect location. We would always book this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at Fredrik’s place in Värmland. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were awesome (we slept great!), the shower had great water pressure and the kitchen had all we needed. We loved the historic nature of the house, examining its architecture, contemplating its past and admiring some of the antiques in the home. We used the grill and relaxed on the patio. The area is so beautiful and we enjoyed lake swimming, visiting Mårbacka and Sunne and picking mushrooms and blueberries in the woods behind the house. While the house is on the main road, trees shelter the house and we did not find the traffic to be that frequent or loud. We would recommend this home!

Charming villa, many bedrooms and with a fantastic environment. Easy to communicate with the host.

What a beautiful place! We were received super friendly in a perfect condition cottage that the sheep walked around. We've never felt at home so quickly. Even our daughter felt free to immediately explore the large garden and trampoline. Definitely recommended! Do yourself a favor and book here for a few days. We found our 2 day stay far too short and would have liked to stay longer!

We stayed 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) in Simon and Björn's cozy house and really enjoyed it! Some issues that were out of the hosts' control but like they went out of their way to resolve in the best way. We enjoyed the secluded location, the tranquility of the forest and of course the pool. Since the weather was not always on top, it was nice to be able to start a fire in the stove and play some games with the kids. We are looking forward to come back next summer!

Good and quiet accommodation in a nice house.

We had an amazing week at this lovely house. There is a good mix of Swedish vintage decor mixed with a little new, and very cozy!! The decor makes a huge difference in the stay. The nature around is great and if you have children, they can play around. We recommend this super place and would like to come back myself!

Visiting over Christmas, a total of twelve people. Plenty of room for everyone and nicely decorated, big plus for the large kitchen. Jonna was easy to communicate with and we leave our best recommendations.
