Beachfront holiday rentals in Varmland County

Spent two days in the houseboat and it was really great, super nice location, nice host and nice walking paths and beach nearby. I'd love to come back next year!

The location of the great property in the midst of beautiful nature and the comfort of the house are really absolutely extraordinary. The contact with the hosts was very friendly and familiar and we felt very well taken care of at all times. Thank you for the great time and we will be happy to come back!

Together with our little children, we had a fantastic time in Humletorp. The two hosts Grace and Sebastian were always helpful, very friendly and generous. Highlights were the beautiful lake with sauna, hotpot and canoe, collecting mushrooms and berries in the nearby forest and watching and feeding the animals on the farm. Highly recommended for those (with or without children) looking for tranquility and nature.

This was the best place we have ever stayed in. Lovely and authentic house, good beds, the garden elevates the overall experience, the lake is breathtaking. We made some nice walks, no tics or mosquitoes (end of May). We swam in the lake (still quite cold). We hope to come back very soon!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful place. Lovely to sit so close to the water and what a beautiful view! The cottage was ideal for us as a family of 3 and our daughter enjoyed the garden and the toys present. Unfortunately, the cottage was not as clean upon arrival as we are normally used to it & we went to clean immediately. It did not provide less holiday fun, but given the price of the cottage you can actually expect this. Ideal place to explore the area!

Helena and Kim greeted us at arrival and were super friendly. The place is fantastic, a renovated old house with original detail and modern amenities. We were thankful for the great hospitality and for the eggs from their hen house. We had a great time and hope to come back.

We had a fantastic stay with Judit and Alexander. The stay next to their farm on the island is by far our best AirBNB experience so far. They are nice, welcoming and super helpful. Apart from the pleasant stay, Judit and Alexander will have a really special experience. We'd love to come back for a longer period of time!

Cozy and quiet accommodation in beautiful surrounding.

Very nice little cabin located in a fantastic place by the lake. Calm and harmonious surroundings, we have a great time in the cottage. The wood-burning fireplace provided very good warmth and elevated the experience of relaxation. We really recommend that cabin to others who want to get out into nature and experience relaxation. When there was also snow on New Year's Eve, it made the landscape outside the window absolutely fabulous.

We hosted 20 people at Malin’s house for what was the dreamiest midsummer we (including the Swedes) have ever had! The house is unbelievable and even more beautiful than the photos lead on, and the family and story behind it is so precious! There was a brief misunderstanding as we didn’t realize Malin and her family would actually be staying at the house while we were there, but they were hardly there (they used a separate entrance) and were extremely sweet hosts, taking us to local experiences and inviting us to the midsummer play they were in. Overall, an unforgettable stay and incredibly kind hosts! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Very nice and well-equipped house, both regarding kitchen equipment and for activities (toys, games and more). An absolutely fantastic location with space to hang out both in the garden, on the porch, jetty and inside the home. We were a large family and were also able to invite friends to celebrate a holiday.

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommend.

This was our fourth stay at the lake house and it was wonderful as always. We just love the quiet, the nature and the wonderful location of this beautiful house. Anneli and Stig are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and hopefully will be back!

We had a great 2 weeks with our family [11 - 73 years] 12 people. We enjoyed the charm of the house, the large garden with great views - the boat, the canoe and the beautiful lake. Likewise, the surroundings with blueberries, cranberries and many chanterelles. Ole is a very helpful and friendly host. The beds, rooms and kitchen were all cozy and very well equipped. Well rested, very happy and satisfied, we will remember this beautiful place......and who knows....if we come back there might still be a sauna.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!
