Cabin holiday rentals in Vänern

We had a fantastic two weeks and were very welcome by Léon and Karin. We have loved the tranquility and space at the beautiful lake. The villa is very fully equipped, with all the comforts. We felt at home. Every evening we had the wood stove on and in the fire pit on the mountain we had winter- bbq. Sausages on the fire and mashmallows, and then enjoy the immense silence, wow! We fished and we were allowed to use the sled to sled from the mountain and toys were also ready. The kids were fantastic. The walks in the folder were also nice to do. So many nice things to see in the area. Gränna, Eksjo and more. In the night visit of deer and at Christmas visit from Santa Claus! So nice! Winter wonderland. We are fully equipped and actually didn't want to go home anymore. A fabulous Christmas and New Year's Eve. We will definitely be back!

We were too far in Jonas's place and were very satisfied. At check-in, Jonas happened to be there in person and welcomed us warmly. The highlight was of course the hot pot, which is operated with provided wood. The accommodation is easy to reach by car and has good shopping in about 20 minutes away. In addition, bed linen and towels must be brought along and a basic cleaning must be carried out.

Annika and Per's apartment is beautifully located! The kitchen is very well equipped and the wood-powered bathtub was a real highlight. In good weather, you can go canoeing on the lake and enjoy nature. We can't wait for the next visit! :)

Great place, jetty, super nice cottage, sauna & hot tub great and everything very clean, thank you. The bathtub needs about 2-3 hours to get hot and at least one complete bag of wood (also available in the nearby COOP), this information would be helpful so you can plan a bit.

Great communication, and all was as advertised in the listing. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

From the start, we were very well received. Tomasz was ready to greet us when we arrived, so we were in really safe hands. He just reviewed the amenities with us and everything was really nice! We had an absolutely perfect stay at Tomasz's place and our trip couldn't have been better! We will definitely be back!

This is a slice of paradise. The cabin is well equipped, in a beautiful location, and is right next to a hiking trail. It was incredibly fun to sit in the hot tub and watch the birds. Minutes from the ferry and from great seafood. Highly recommended!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cabin for the weekend. Britta is an amazing host who really elevated the experience. Got a chance to greet the animals, burn in the stoves, eat breakfast outdoors with the view of the farm and swim in the hot tub under the starry sky. Recommend shopping in the farm shops that are around Sollebrunn and visit Gräfsnäs castle ruin. Very happy with the visit, perfect oasis for getting out of town. Thanks Britta!

We were so lucky to get this place booked for a weekend trip with the family. The owners were very nice and welcoming. They were present when you needed them and came with good recommendations for activities and dining places. They were happy to show off the horses on the farm and share the farm's history. It was an experience to enjoy the horses grazing right outside the door. Would highly recommend!

A well-kept accommodation, with a cozy bed and everything you need in the kitchen. Check-in and access to the accommodation were very simple. We actually thought the outside was really cool, only warm water would have been nice, but that way you were directly awake. :)

We loved our short stay in Maria's small home. It was very clean and tidy, super quiet, and we felt at home as soon as we set foot in it :) Maria sent us clear instructions and the location was perfect – lots to see and do in the area. We'd love to come back one day!

We had a very great stay, the host lent us the canoe for the day. We paddled along the lake it is so peaceful. On the night the host gave us some wood to make a barbeque, there was no many mosquitos, it was so nice. I really recommand this place, it's completly worth it ! ;)

We could not have wished for a better stay! The cottage was cozily furnished, had beautiful views and was very clean. Definitely recommended! Very sweet hosts who respond quickly and have good tips about the area

It was so lovely to stay at Ewa’s place and it is incredibly picturesque and quiet. There are shops and restaurants within 20 minutes which is helpful for lunch / dinner etc. Ewa is a lovely host and makes the most wonderful breakfast every day - such a treat! I look forward to returning :)

We spent three wonderful days with Christina & Beo and the time was far too short! We felt at home in the cozily furnished cottage and spent hours in the nearby nature reserve. The hosts were very friendly and gave us many tips on great routes. We will be happy to come back!

We loved it here! The accommodation is beautiful and cozy, Fabian super friendly and could even speak German, which we did not expect here. We felt very comfortable and would come back if we were nearby!

Accidentally came across this house, it had everything you needed for a few days in May. Wonderful location in peace and quiet. Nevertheless, you could be in the nearest city in about 15 minutes by car. Also larger shopping in 30-60 min distance. Amenities as far as everything is available and the house is not overloaded with useless things. The way you enter the house, you want to immediately sit on the couch and watch and relax the lake. Good fishing opportunities thanks to rowing boat and very good pike stock as there seem to be only a few houses all over the lake. The sleeping loft under the roof is also very relaxing. Here you can look out of bed at the lake in the morning.

Fantastic place in beautiful surroundings. Christopher was very helpful and communicated clearly throughout our stay.

A nice accommodation with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Good verandas with morning/evening sun. Close to swimming. Nice neighbors/host.

We had a lovely stay at Jennie's. Three nights, but this could have been 3 weeks with ease. The cottage is next to the large house but you have a lot of privacy. Everything is there for a carefree stay. You look nicely over the fields. In the morning you can watch the sun rise and sit on the terrace by the living room. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset and the deer on the back terrace of Jennie. Wonderfully quiet. Lots of hiking in the area of Kinnekulle. 100% recommended.

We had a beautiful stay at Henriks cottage. It suited us perfectly for our short visit to the area. Henrik was exceptionally helpful and responded kindly to any questions we had. We loved the calm little street that the house lies on and will likely be back for a visit one day. The house was small, but cosy and perfect for a small family. Brunnsparken in Dals Rostock, is a must visit. The Ateljie there is incredible.❤️

We had three beautiful days at Ingbritt's house. The house scores points for its amenities and size. Ingbritt was always available and the communication went great. The location is recommended for anyone looking for absolute peace and quiet. We feel comfortable.
