House holiday rentals in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Lena & Jean-Claude were fabulous hosts, very helpful & friendly but also discreet. The cottage is super, well equipped & very comfortable - the pictures do not do it justice! A/C in the bedroom was much appreciated! We loved the pool area & outdoor kitchen, & enjoyed barbecuing on the plancha. St Victor la Coste is an unspoilt, un-touristy Provencal village with a good bar/restaurant & boulangerie and great views from the ruined castle a 20min steep walk away. Easy journeys into Avignon, Arles, Uzes & to Pont du Gard. We loved our week in this beautiful cottage & hope to return. Merci Beaucoup Lena & Jean-Claude!

A real little piece of heaven! Estelle is adorable, we had a good time with her, she is attentive and always available if you need anything. The accommodation is great, the kitchen is small but more than enough to prepare good meals. The exteriors are very pleasant, the pool is beautiful, there is a table under a pergola to be able to eat in the shade. We spent 4 wonderful days, we enjoyed every moment spent at Estelle's. We hope to be able to return to this little gem one day

Spacious cottage, very well equipped and decorated, beautiful estate, a shame the weather did not allow us to use the beautiful pool. The videos made by Emma to facilitate our arrival were clear and accurate hence a smooth arrival. The books available to us were particularly appreciated by my mom and our dog was able to participate in our stay!!!! since here dogs are allowed!!! Very good stay, I would highly recommend .

Our host was really great, very accommodating and his accommodation is really good, there is everything you need in it to have a good stay. I recommend without hesitation. If we have to come back I already know where to go.

Kevin et Laetitia’s place is as close to “heaven on earth” as I’ve encountered in a long time! I am looking forward to trying to come back for a longer stay ASAP, it was absolutely incredible and as hosts, they were wonderful to work with. The interior is accommodating and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details and the exterior is a peaceful, divine oasis of comfort and pleasure. The surrounding areas are easy to access and everything was 10/10 wonderful! Merci beaucoup, Kevin & Laetitia!

The beautiful stone house in Labastide with its lavender-colored shutters caught our eye at first sight. Thanks to the three seating options in front, you can hike in the evening with the sun and sit outside from aperitif to dessert... It is tastefully and originally furnished and not overloaded. The kitchen has everything you need and you can cook there very well. This is also thanks to the excellent markets in the area. Thanks to the excellent mattresses, we slept super well and the street in front of the house is not an issue, so few cars circulate there. The area around Labastide is highly attractive and we went swimming every day, explored the surrounding villages and were in the caves. Everything highly recommended. Thank you Lina, for the attentive hospitality. We will be back!

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, an adorable golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Beautiful villa, very well maintained, roof like the pool, ideally located a few minutes' walk from the center. The calm makes this place a perfect place to rest. The refreshing floor is a real plus! It had everything we needed. Corinne is a very friendly, attentive, and accommodating host. We'll be back for a longer stay without hesitation!

Clean and pleasant accommodation, in a green and flowery area. Even better than in the photos... very nice outdoor space with breakfast on the terrace and possibility to have a small barbecue. Lots of nearby villages that are well worth a visit and swimming beaches nearby. Great welcome gifts. I would highly recommend.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Julie personally because unfortunately she could not be there, but her father gave us a very warm welcome. However, she was always very responsive to messages, and checked in during our stay. Thank you for your attention. Regarding the accommodation, we had a great weekend thanks to the amenities offered in the accommodation, especially the SPA, which is very pleasant. The accommodation was more than in line with the description, in very good condition when we arrived, with everything you need on site, and we feel Julie's soul very well in this charming house nestled in the Ardèche gorges. Ideally located accommodation to be both quiet and close to Vallon Pont d'Arc, which is very lively in this season. I recommend it for the respect of the neighborhood and that's what we were looking for There should be a toilet in the independent room to avoid having to go outside to go to the toilet or to avoid putting people who do not know how to do anything but get up at night 😉 Efficient and friendly remote reception.
