House holiday rentals in Valletta

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

Giovanni’s place was like a home from home, nothing was to much trouble. We was made to feel at ease, was given local information. A perfect place to relax

Lovely place to stay and the pool was a great addition to our stay. Throughly enjoyed our time here and is a lovely place to stay. Within walking distance of some really nice restaurants and not a far walk into Valletta at all.

We loved our stay! The villa is beautiful and the island is very peaceful. We especially enjoyed the pool and the barbecue! We thought it may be useful to note that the air con system in the villa needs coins to run, so it was useful having cash. It’s a pretty walk to the beach, a short walk away from a square of restaurants/bars and the Church, and a short Uber ride to the ferry port. Thanks for the lovely stay, Chris, and for being so responsive and helpful!! :)

The pictures do not do this property justice! This beautiful, spacious house has everything you could possibly need, including towels, cooking utensils, pans, and more. The property also has a swimming pool and hot tub which enhanced our stay. The host was very responsive and extremely friendly and helpful. We had such a wonderful time here and would highly recommend this property to groups of six or more visiting Malta.

We had a great time at this Airbnb, we were very well received, Dorothy is very responsive and we had no problems during the stay.

Beautiful location with stunning views and perfect for a friend gateway with plenty of spaces to socialise. The pool was amazing aswell as the bbq. Highly recommend.

We spent five days at Mary-Rose's property. It is as beautiful as the photos suggest. Very comfortable. Thank you to Mary Rose for leaving some welcome essentials (milk, bread, coffee, etc). Lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a peaceful experience in Malta, living alongside the locals.

Melissa's place was exactly as she described it. Well located and near everything you would want, but quiet and away from the hubbub. A traditional 4 story house with character and a lovely balcony to have a glass of wine overlooking the square and St Paul's Cathedral. Super places to eat. Everyone so friendly and that made our stay so much fun. Fabulous communication when we needed her from Melissa. Fave places were Rubino for delicious food and Gourmet Cafe for coffee. Oldest coffee place was Cafe Cordina, which was wonderful for people watching. A must to visit is St Paul's Cathedral and a tour of the spire with Neil, St John's Cathedral and a Theatre tour with the Fabulous Jeremy Grech. All in all, we fell in love with Valletta.

Great place to stay. Beautiful, updated apartment. Great restaurants and bars and shops all within walking distance. Short walk to park overlooking ocean harbor with great views. Host was very friendly and responsive.

Julie is an amazing host. Very responsive and went above and beyond to help us at every turn especially when I injured my foot while sightseeing and was in a moon boot and on crutches. She tried to organise wheelchair assistance for me and checked on me every day, offering help. Any questions we had, she was quick with a response. Her place is gorgeous with wonderful touches to make you feel at home. Bus stop and supermarket are in easy walking distance. I would book her place again without hesitation. Five stars 🌟 all the way!

Eman was an amazing host. Without doubt one of the best airbnbs and hosts I have used through Airbnb. The apartment was clean, tidy and beautiful. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Perfect location, with loads to do around and all within walking distance. Roderick and Sarah’s place was great for us. We went to Malta on a couples holiday and it was in a the perfect location to explore all of Malta. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk, as well as the beach. It was clean, modern and had all the necessary amenities with nice view from the balcony. They are both very helpful and responsive to messages. One thing to note, is that there are a few church bells that go off in the morning. This is obviously not Roderick or Sarah’s fault and would be fine if you are a morning person or deep sleeper. We also heard bells elsewhere so may be common around Malta! This would not stop us staying at this apartment had we known in advance. Highly recommend.

Ana’s place very nice, close to the capital (by ferry) and all kinds of restaurants and coffee bars nearby. The house itself is located in a more quiet part of Gzira, so you won’t be kept up by loud neighbours ;-) Overall a nice place to stay.

Great place, was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The location was slightly far from other attractions, but was not difficult to get to them via public transport or Bolt. Overall wonderful stay!

Well, Martin is really one of a kind host here on Airbnb. Extremely available, proactive, helpful and always ready to help with no matter what issue you might have. His house is super clean, spacious, perfect for a couple or a family, like in our case. Easy to get to Valletta (in bus or taxi for just a few minutes ride) and everywhere you need. Totally recommend it.

Emanuel is a fantastic host and a wonderful person. He welcomed us warmly, we arrived late at night with two small children. The place was clean, spacious, and perfect for a family — equipped with everything we needed. It's also conveniently located near the beaches, public transport, restaurants and shops. Emanuel was also incredibly helpful when we were leaving. If we come back, we would definitely book his place again, maybe even for a longer stay. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Bormla! The location is fantastic – just a short walk from the waterfront, historic sites, and the ferry to Valletta. The neighborhood is peaceful and full of local charm, offering a true taste of Maltese life. The apartment was perfect for our family, including our two young children. We were also pleasantly surprised by how easy parking was – we could comfortably park our rental car on the street nearby and were just a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Inside, the apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful and charming details. We especially appreciated the family-friendly touches – plenty of space, useful kitchen amenities, and even a washing machine. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative throughout our stay.We highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and comfortable stay in Malta. Malta is a truly wonderful!

The house was clean and tidy, provided everything we needed and had a nice rooftop area. Enjoyed staying in a house with some character. Hosts were very friendly and took the time to introduce us to the house. Location was perfect for us being quiet in the evenings but close to transport links and lots of shops and amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

This was an amazing find. The house is a characterful, historic building along the harbour. The pictures don’t quite capture the unique and beautiful architecture. They have only just started hosting on Airbnb. I’m sure the calendar will be full in no time. It is not a contemporary home, so probably better suited for the unique-experience or architecture enthusiast than someone who would prefer modern hotel-conveniences. The quirks of the building make it very special. It is something between the sense of staying in a castle/fortress. The rooftop overlooking the harbor is incredible. The host was super helpful and attentive, going above and beyond. We would highly recommend and will always remember this place. Thanks Jimmy!

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Lucas is a brillliant host and was very responsive. He helped us with local recommendations and fixed any small troubles we had! Everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was amazing! This stunning house is worth every penny.

There is nothing to say about this rental, everything was perfect, clean, very pleasant with its small indoor garden. Jessica is very responsive. The location is great because it's close to the historic center of Valletta, if I go back to Malta, I would be happy to stay at Jessica's place again.
