Chalet holiday rentals in Val-d'Illiez

We had a wonderful weekend with the family (13 people) in this cottage. We immediately felt comfortable, the cottage has a lot of charm, is well located and is well equipped. I think we'll be back.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Our week at Thierry's went very well with a very nice welcome and a flexible departure (Friday evening instead of Saturday) A very cozy accommodation in the center of Abondance with the convenience store 5 minutes' walk and a very good bakery also nearby (franco-suisse), many hikes accessible directly from the accommodation and many nice bike routes Thank you so much for this stay, we will be happy to come back!!

We stayed for a week, the chalet was perfect for 2 people, very cosy and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden space. Peaceful area, good for chilling out. Great base to explore around les Houches and Chamonix area, we did quite a lot of hiking. Pauline was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would come back again without hesitation!

Norbert greeted us kindly on arrival and gave us valuable tips for the nearby region. The house was very clean and is furnished with a lot of attention to detail. There's nothing missing. The beds are fantastic, the meadow with the ash tree behind the house is cozy and the fire bowl in the right place. The walking and hiking trails are close, the forest path along the stream up to the Pont de Nant is truly mystical.

Everything was perfect. The place was extremely remarkably clean, the rooms in very good condition, the living room beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped. We really had a great time!

Great place in midst the vineyards, with a fantastic view. Beautiful terrasse, modern appliances, comfortable and cozy.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

EVERYTHING was perfect! Samuel is a very accommodating, pleasant, welcoming and friendly host! The house is just breathtaking, the decor incredible, the view sublime, the bedding of unparalleled comfort, everything is so clean that you could lick the floor, nothing is missing in terms of amenities, everything is really great in this Airbnb! Absolutely amazing stay, I could say one of the best chalets I’ve ever rented. From the amazing friendly host to the cleanliness of the chalet to the spectacular views this stay couldn’t have been better. We felt so at home such a cozy stay. We enjoyed the multiple options of outside seating areas as well as the spectacular view from the living area. I was a bit spectacle about the self check in however our host was so everything we could’ve hoped for she made us feel so welcomed was interactive always there to respond about any questions, and gave us very clear instructions about our check in. Having Lise-Lotte’s as our host was the best experience we couldn’t thank you enough fro our amazing stay🥰 hopefully we will be coming back in the upcoming years!

Hyper responsive and very welcoming host. Very nice chalet with all the amenities and a nice distribution of rooms and living areas. Very beautiful view. And a quick excess to the different valleys. Good walkers can access Morzine on foot through the paths.

We had a great weekend with the family at Per-Henrik's cottage. The cottage is large, very well appointed and suitable for families. The place is peaceful with beautiful mountain and forest views. The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

A perfect stay, quiet, at the foot of the lake. The setting is beautiful and the place is great. Very nice. Albane is very responsive and available. I keep the place in mind to come back!

We came to spend a few days with the family for the Ascension week and the Maxi race. We had all the comforts in the cozy chalet of Marie and Rodolphe located in a beautiful setting in Doussard. Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

This is an amazing place to stay for a large family. Isabelle was great to deal with and replied to messages very quickly. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. The outside area is great for dining etc. The house has everything you need. thanks for having us.

Charming accommodation in a great location. Everything you need is available. Ideal for relaxing and switching off. The region offers many opportunities for excursions, activities, walking and eating. Pleasant camping with friendly residents and helpful staff. Ideal for us as a family with two children!
