Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vacoas-Phoenix

We had a wonderful time staying at Sarespadee's home in Pointe aux Sables. The house is very spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Sarespadee is a generous and thoughtful host—she arranged a desk when we requested one, and also provided a crib and high chair for our baby. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, and she was always helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. I felt completely comfortable strolling around with my baby. It's about a 10-minute walk to London Way, the local grocery store, and about a 5-minute walk to the 51 bus stop, which has frequent buses into Port Louis (30-40 min ride). From there, you can easily transfer to buses going across the island. That said, it's preferable to have a vehicle, especially if you plan to explore more of the island or eat out regularly. The area isn’t very touristy and doesn’t have many nearby restaurants, but we enjoyed several in Albion, which is a short drive away.

We had a wonderful time at Shangri La! Our host Francine was great, she communicated very well and the house was fantastic. We wished we could have stayed longer and we plan to be back soon!

I really like this house. I feel sooo chill and happiness there. Marvin and Marlene will help u all the time. They give me the sweet suggestions for Mauritius. And rent a scooter for me. We agreed to meet again, cuz they r so nice🥰

Staying at Sharvins was amazing. with views of the bay a standout. very relaxing with nice restaurants within a short distance. sharvin and family made us very welcome.

Incredible villa! Beautiful, private with a gate, short walk to the beach or London Way Supermarket, and very friendly host/cleaners. The villa was extremely clean and well kept. The design touches make this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plus, all the amenities you can think of and need - filtered water system, laundry machine/drying rack/ironing board, tote bags, cooler, and more. Very helpful for being a home away from home. If this villa is available - book it! You’ll be so happy you did.

The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. We had a truly wonderful stay at Coralie’s beautiful apartment in Tamarin. She was an exceptional host - kind, attentive, and thoughtful - making my parents feel completely at home from the moment they arrived. When I joined them later, I could immediately see why they had been raving about the place. The apartment is stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the spacious terrace with its breathtaking views! Saheen and her husband went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again. She was super responsive and informative months prior to us arriving, all the way up until our checkout. The apartment was clean, comfortable and surprisingly well equipped; we felt right at home. She was also very kind in leaving us some Mauritian snacks & drinks since we arrived quite late. We had a minor hiccup with the hot water and she sprung into action right away to try solve the problem - truly one of the best Airbnb hosts we've ever interacted with!

The apartment was clean and fragrant, all in order and equipped with all the necessities. Meera turned out to be exquisite and very hospitable. I recommend it to everyone.

Stéphanie and her team were incredible, very responsive and even helping to set up a surprise birthday welcome for my husband on our arrival. Blue Bay is a dream and this house only adds to it - luxe, easy, and with the lagoon right out your door. Very well set up for kids and families with lots of nice touches. Only drawback is that you're right in the flight path of the airport, which scared our toddler until he got used to it - but luckily the flights don't really go at night so you're not disturbed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We spent two wonderful months at Nathalie's. The apartment was perfectly in line with the listing: spacious, clean, well arranged and ideally located, close to all amenities and the beach. A real little cocoon to fully enjoy life in Mauritius! Nathalie was an exceptional host: always available, responsive, welcoming, warm and smiling. She was able to respond to all our requests with kindness and efficiency, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend her accommodation without hesitation, and if we go back to Mauritius, we will not hesitate for a second to come back to her. Thanks again Nathalie for your hospitality!

This place was my best experience so far. The rooms were spotless, with no foul smells or anything. It was also more spacious than I expected, and super comfortable. The host, Ameerah, was very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to explain everything clearly, and genuinely made sure I had a great stay. You can also see the care she puts into keeping the place clean. I will definitely choose this place again without a second thought!

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, carefully decorated, and above all very functional accommodation with everything available. Everything is set up to facilitate your arrival, as well as all the necessary information to know about the island (restaurants, beaches, activities, etc.). The apartment is secure and located in a quiet neighborhood, close to a shopping center and beaches. Grindel is an available and caring host. I recommend it without hesitating and without a second thought!

the place feels like home. very cozy and charming. had all the amenities needed. the place was very nice just would like if the pool was a bit more clean but it was ok. would reconnect it to every of my friend. had all the utensils needed and very comfortable home

We had a wonderful week in Tatiana's beautiful apartment. The view of the Indian ocean was spectacular. We practically had the pool and beach to ourselves when we were there as very few others around. Tatiana was very responsive, particularly when we had an issue with the hot water on day one. It was all fixed very quickly. I hope one day we can return as it was the perfect base for us to explore the area. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at this property in Flic en Flac! The host(Tawhida) was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and personally came to meet us during check-in. She gave us a clear walkthrough of the house, which really helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Flic en Flac public beach. Perfect for morning strolls or catching the sunset! The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like home. We especially appreciated the dedicated covered parking space, which made things very convenient as we had a rental car. Check-out was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in Flic en Flac. 🌴🌊

Great place to stay, fully welcomed by Ashwin, Milka and family. The space has everything you need and the evening breeze on the roof terrace is very refreshing. A very short walk for noodles/grilled meats. We didn't make it into Port Louis as we had full days elsewhere but transport in would be easy. We don't hesitate to recommend!

We had a great time staying with Christopher! The communication worked great, the apartment was clean and the pool was also great, the whole complex is very neat and well maintained. It is a lovely little, quiet place with plenty of shopping and lots of small restaurants and cafes. The first hunger was taken care of in the apartment. We would come back again and again:)

This place is really good. In the south west, the view from the room was amazing, you could see the mountains right from your bed. It’s not near the beach but it’s private, very peaceful surrounded by nature trees and birds chirping throughout the day will bring peace of mind. If you have a car rented, this is the best place to stay as you can drive to the beach, shopping mall, restaurant within 5-10 mins.
