We visited Archie's place in June '17. This place is in Barlow Ganj area of Mussorie and is secluded from the maddening crowd of Mall Road. It boasts of a breathtaking view from the sitting area and makes one feel very close to nature. The room interiors are done wonderfully and are of absolutely top-notch quality . A special mention is due here about the hosts themselves, Archie and Sanjeev. They made us feel at home and comfortable from the time we walked in and went out of their way to help us with suggestions and even transport arrangements. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to be in nature's lap and yet not comprising on luxury! All in all, a great stay.

My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our Har Ki Dun trek. It's a perfect homestay with a traditional family in the heart of Soud village. The room is adjacent to the rooms of other family members and is minimalistic. The view from the common balcony is soothing. The food which was garden fresh and simple was served with lots of love. A big thanks to Devender for all the help, information and assistance. He organized small treks (on payment) and we were escorted by chirpy little teenagers from their family who made it worthwhile. Clarify on the costs of food/trek beforehand in order to avoid surprises. The toilets are not attached with the rooms and theres a fly menace if you eat in the common balcony. All in all an simple yet exotic experience with a beautiful traditional joint family.

We were looking for a chilled out property where we could work during the afternoons, chill during the evenings and have safe arrangements for cooking food. This place met all our expectations. The room has an attached kitchen and it has a gas stove, all cutlery and cooking utensils. We were also provided with a Microwave so we were mostly self sufficient with things. The most favourite part of our stay was the Balcony! It’s been 10 days post our stay and I miss Nakshatra’s balcony every day! It has nice mountain view and you’d get to see beautiful civil twilight during evenings. This place also has a caretaker “BooBoo Jii” who is very courteous and would do everything to make sure you have a nice stay. Alongside BooBoo Ji we had a cook as well who cooked decent food. Lastly, we were 3 friends, and room was spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed. The only one thing that could have been better is the JioFi network in the rooms - but.. when you such a view outside why not sit outside and work with fresh air and the view! All the best Anurag. Beautiful Location, Picturesque views from the place, exactly as described... Host Neha gave amazing suggestions and Mohit and staff gave excellent service... Food was delicious... Would surely recommend this place to friends !!!

A hassle free check in experience, a pet friendly resort in true sense, easily accessible from the NH34, food was good, the owner of the place has tried to keep this place simple and close to nature, the owner also runs a Organic masala and cosmetic band in which the product are mostly made out of the organic produce of the resort.... had a very good overall experience, must book if you want a peaceful stay in natural habitat.

We had a wonderful time at the Yoga Villa and enjoyed every single day. The room was nice, the shower was hot, the area quite and safe, the staff very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the yoga classes - ashtanga and hatha. If we would go to Rishikesh again, we would definitely stay at the Yoga Villa.

Great secluded stay in the hills with the villa designed to be modern. Perfect if you like being amid nature. The massive lawn is definitely a plus.

My recent stay at Little Heaven was nothing short of delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The property is beautifully maintained, with charming decor and thoughtful touches that create a perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I woke up refreshed each morning. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking—peaceful views that truly lived up to the name “Little Heaven.” Whether I was sipping coffee on the porch or exploring the nearby grounds, it felt like a little slice of paradise.

Green paradise in the bustle of Dehradun city! The listed host (Shivendra) aunt looked after during the entire stay. I travelled from London to Dehradun for work and stayed for a full week. Have no regrets and would definitely go back again. It's one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had and by far better than any hotel. Aunty is so kind and welcoming, looking after our every need, always greeting us warmly with smiles. It felt like a home away from home, with home cooked food and decorated with love. The place was actually built for family to stay and feels as such. Laundry and cleaning services are available regularly (in fact Aunty insists on this). The detached building is spacious and looks out onto it's own private outdoor patio and beyond that into the extensive gardens of the main house. It's very relaxing and a beautiful environment just 2 minutes away from ISBT. Aunty has dogs, ducks, chickens and other animal roaming about in gated gardens which makes you feel like you're staying on a thriving farm, her green fingers means that everywhere you look, even in & on the house you see plants growing - it's incredible. The plants and vegetation also provide a natural cooling effect which was very welcomed in the current heat. There is also fan, aircon, fridge and freezer available to keep things cool. There is plenty of privacy and yet if you need anything someone is always around to help. Just down the road are shops and a few restaurants if you want to go out. Mostly we stayed in, cooked and also had aunty' s food nearly every day. if you have any issues or there are small hiccups (such as electricity or water outage) aunty gets it fixed very quickly and issues are very rare in the first instance. There is never any need to worry. Definitely book and give it a try - you won't find better accommodation in Dehradun or kinder hosts. I have taken some inspiration on green/natural decorations home with me and am planning to give it a try! As a female I'd also feel very safe staying here if on my own.

I stayed at this property for one night with my wife. Property was clean and fantastic. We had a balcony which was pretty good. This property is exactly in front of Ganga Maiyya. Walking path below this property was very nice. View from this property was awesome. Manager of this property (Miss.Sneha) was very talkative, friendly and co-operative. Check-in was very smooth. They sent their person to collect our luggage. They have a small kitchen for the entire property but we can cook the food. We ordered Coffee which was nice. Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhula and Parmartha Niketan Ashram is just 10 mins drive from this property. I would definately recommend this property. Positive things : Clean Room Excellent Ganga River View Nice Walking Path Excellent Manager (Mis. Sneha) Negative things : 1. The AC in the room was working but Remote was not working. 2. Due to small size of Washroom, Shower area was not different.

I had a wonderful stay at this 1BHK homestay in Dehradun. The place is perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even small families. It includes a cozy bedroom, a clean bathroom, a comfortable drawing room, and a fully functional kitchen. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the basic amenities—utensils, gas stove and even an RO water filter, which was a great plus for long stays. Everything was clean and neatly maintained. The location is peaceful and safe, yet well-connected to main areas. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay, ensuring a smooth check-in and being available for any queries. I highly recommend this homestay if you’re looking for a private, quiet, and homely place in Dehradun.
