Great place, swati mam and her husband were friendly and very cooperative, the view is quite amazing and lush,, but the place is a bit secluded, so plan during day time, night traveling is not advised. Also they cook awesome home cooked meal,, try a dinner or lunch

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shivam's Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and hospitality he showed. The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Shivam was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. He even offered great local recommendations, making my trip even more enjoyable. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying at Shivam's place — I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary—truly among the finest accommodations we've ever experienced. A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at this property. The house itself was spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained, while the location offered truly breathtaking views. The property manager took care of all our meals, which were freshly prepared and delicious. Our stay was incredibly relaxing, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

The home stay is located about 2 km from the parking area. The trek through the beautiful woods is a pleasant walk, but may be challenging for some due to the hilly terrain with some uphill and downhill sections. It's best to arrive before dark to avoid navigating the trail in low light. This is a rustic mud house, so luxury amenities should not be expected. As you are staying in the heart of nature, it's common to encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other creatures, especially in the bathroom and bedroom areas. Guests should be prepared for a more basic experience compared to a typical hotel. With my 13 year old son, I explained that we were guests in the animals' natural habitat, so we needed to coexist peacefully and adapt to our surroundings. After adjusting our mindset, we ended up thoroughly enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the natural setting. Before departing, be sure to visit the nearby Vijay Milan Math temple at the start or end of the trail. Good freash cooked food.

Me and my family loved our stay! We rented out the whole place so that we could enjoy some time alone as a family and it was well worth it. We enjoyed the wonderful food made by the cook at a very reasonable price and the two other staff kept the place very clean and tidy. It is absolutely beautiful and my children loved that we could walk down to the river from the house in 5 minutes and play in the cool mountain stream! Mr. Shipley's house is a beautiful and well kept place and our family loved our time there and hope to return some day.

It is indeed a very beautiful place with amazing views. The Owner and the Caretaker Mr Pawan were both a amazing host. Though the owner always took care of the request without any hesitation, the care taker was such an amazing person and so helpful that i totally felt like home. Lastly the property has amazing views of the lake from the deck and lawn. Would love to visit again

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was a wonderful place. The garden and outdoor lawn are gorgeous, and so is the cottage. One wakes up with the chirping of the birds. Even though it is located just off the main road, it is still very quiet and serene. There are short treks around through some beautiful forests. Bahadur, the caretaker is super helpful with everything.

Nestled amidst lush greenery, the property offered breathtaking views of rolling hills. The Homestay itself was a haven of serenity and natural beauty. The meticulously maintained garden was a treat for the senses with chirping birds creating a symphony of nature's finest melodies. The accommodation itself was nothing short of perfection. The fresh white linens added a touch of luxury and attention to detail. Above all, the host Sharma family's warm welcoming nature and their humble staff.

Wow! This has been an awesome memorable experience. Meena aunty is fabulous. She is a perfect host who takes care of your needs and fulfills it. Her apartment is perfectly located to enjoy nature and breathtaking view of mountains and river. On top of it is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. There's pretty much everything that you need and rest is a phone call away. Something which makes this experience ultra special is Meena aunty's personal touch. She makes you feel comfortable and treats you like family ( lot of care). During your stay she will keep checking if you need anything. Both Meena aunty and Mr Anand were superb. I felt special and would like to return again . Thank you

We had an absolutely amazing time at Vama Homestead. The rooms were spacious and clean.. The host Vardaan Chawla (more of a friend) is absolutely a gem of a person..going out all the way to make our stay a memorable one..Explained us about the area and other topography..Accompanied us to a small river side hike which was absolutely stunning sight..The staff were attentive as well prompt and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable..and last but not the least being a foodie group we were served with best of lip smacking dishes throughout our stay.. Breakfast, lunch, hi tea, barbeque snacks and dinner were quite elaborate made with best of ingredients.. I know it's a bit long review but am compelled to write for the great hospitality we received.. It had everything we could wish for...If planning for a quiet, no hassles great location awesome food then just go for it.. You won't regret.. Only thing to keep in mind is there a small trek from parking to reach the resort..

The homestay's location was also ideal for those seeking a peaceful getaway, Surrounded by nature trails and scenic spots, I had the oppourtunity to explore the areas natural wonders at my leisure. Whether it was a leisurely dip in the nearby river, the options for outdoor activities were endless. Lastly, the impeccable service provided by the homestay staff deserves special mention. For providing local tours to providing insightful recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was truly unforgettable.

The stay was worth it. It's a must recommended place.
