Excellent from start to finish, Nicanor coordinates the entrance to the lodge at 9 o'clock with a taxi to pick me up. Once there they prepared dinner and in the morning he managed the tours of the day. Really spotless, I recommend.

We had a great time! This place is serene and relaxing after 2 weeks spent in Peru , it regenerated us and did a lot of good!In this little paradise , we were warmly welcomed in this colorful and tastefully decorated home. We had dinner and breakfast on site . The meals are delicious hearty and thoughtfully prepared. I'm not fluent in Spanish but we exchanged smiles that replaced the words. We would have stayed a few more days but unfortunately our stay in Peru is ending and we have to go back to Lima to get back on the plane to Paris. As you can see, I highly recommend this listing!

We really loved our stay with Eduardo and Gloria, and we were sad to leave after two nights. The space was so comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. We were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, with help on hand if required! The shower wasn’t particularly strong or warm, but there was plenty of blankets and a heater provided so we never felt cold! Eduardo was kind enough to show us round the community, although unfortunately we did feel slightly pressured to spend money on the local handicrafts. Would highly recommend, such a beautiful experience!

We had a wonderful time staying at Pedro's with his lovely wife and their two cute dogs. The house is beautiful and historic and they are so friendly, welcoming, warm and great to chat to. The dogs too were so cute and we loved playing with them! They provided enough blankets to keep warm and we were also able to do our laundry for a good price too. The location is walkable to anywhere you want to go.

The Uros lodge is an amazing place! It is situated at the edge of Lake Titicaca, but away from the rest of the Uros community, so it is quite private. The hosts are very personable and took us on a tour of the Uros community on the other floating islands before going to the lodge...we even tagged a long to pick up their child from school which made it all the more special (quite a different school pick-up line than we'd ever seen before!). But don't expect it to be like a luxury hotel...it's more like glamping; water is carefully conserved, as is electricity. The meals are simple, but of high quality and generous portion sizes. If you want a quiet, beautiful place to relax and do as little as possible, this is the place! It was the highlight of our trip to Peru.

We had a pleasant stay at Dario and his wife's. They were very nice, attentive and responsive. The setting is idyllic when you want to find peace and the lake view upon waking is amazing. The meals offered are very well cooked and very good. We even had the right to small hot water bottles to keep warm at night. Because these were quite cool. We encountered very humid nights. Plan cash if you are staying on the islands, to pay for the premises and services offered as there is no ATM. In summary, this accommodation is very pleasant and peaceful with up-to-standard and really lovely hosts. Thanks to them. We recommend this experience.
