Rorbu on the west side of Bømlo with a short distance to the over a thousand islets and cliffs. West event on a sunny plot at the edge of the sea. High standard, kitchen on both floors, two bedrooms and open loft with double bed. Short distance to nice nature experiences as well as culture. 6 min drive to the city center. Bed linen and towels are included. Simple fishing equipment and gas grill are available. Possibility of renting a boat (Hansvik 16 feet with 2022 mod. 9.9 hp Suzuki outboard) and 2 kayaks. Rental needs to be clarified in advance.

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. Also canoe and two kayaks. 5 km from the center of Bømlo with shops etc. The owner lives 1 km away and is available if needed. Idyllic summer house at Hallaråker with 3 bedrooms and large outdoor areas. Located sheltered and private, at the same time as it is not far to the sea, forest and water. The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. This is a beautiful and charming little cottage with a fjord view. The yard was stunning- fruit trees and hydrangeas that looked like they'd been created with AI. The lawn was like walking on a mattress- we enjoyed playing croquet there. The hosts were so friendly- they left freshly caught mackerel in the freezer- straight from the fjord. It was so delicious we had it for dinner twice. Bjorn offered to take us fishing, but it was a rainy day and we drove south to a Viking Village instead. There is a lovely deck by the fjord that is shared with the family, but it was too cold to enjoy it properly during our visit. The house itself has a very comfortable deck in which you can enjoy the view. Know that this is a remote spot- no restaurants or stores within a 15 minute drive. Loved it!

We were pleasantly surprised at the detailed planning and provisions/equipping of the home. Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Location and views.... simply stunning. If we did not have further plans booked and paid for, we would have tried to extend the booking.
