Contemporary Upscale Renovation of a 746 sqft apartment in the rear of our private residence in a family oriented New Orleans Uptown neighborhood centrally located to great dining and local experiences. Called Studio Milan, our guest apartment is a large one bedroom apartment furnished with one QUEEN size bed in the bedroom and can sleep 4 when using the FULL size pull out sofa sleeper in the living room. There is a full bath with walk-in shower, full kitchen, washer and dryer, WIFI, DirectTV with 50” Flat Screen TV in the Living Room, Large Rear Patio with an Outdoor Gas Grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need.... gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator with ice maker. Laundry Center closet with stacked washer and dryer, detergent, iron and ironing board. We are located just three blocks from the famous St. Charles Ave street car line. Close to Tulane University. Walk to fabulous neighborhood restaurants and watering holes such as Martin’s Wine Cellar, Charlie’s Steak House, Pascal's Manale ( since 1913 for BBQ Shrimp & Oysters on the half shell), New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co., New Orleans Coffee and Beignets Co., IL Posto Cafe, Fat Harry’s, Superior Seafood and Superior Grill..the list is seemingly endless! Only a three block walk down to St Charles Ave Mardi Gras parade routes. You can enjoy being in the heart of Uptown parades within walking distance to your own place. Stroll over to the Historic Columns Hotel on picturesque St. Charles Ave to have a drink or dine on the front gallery as you watch the world pass by. Just a short walk down Milan Street towards the river leads you to the shopping, dining and nightlife of what is Magazine Street. Guest will have access to the rear patio and rear 1 Bedroom apartment with private entrance. Ample parking is on the street next to the apartment. We can meet you for both check-in and departure. If its a late arrival, text me that you have made it in to the apartment and are settled and we can catch up with each other the next day. Otherwise are only a phone call away should you have any questions or concerns. We love to share our favorite places to eat and things to do so you only have to ask. Three blocks off St Charles Avenue (Mardi Gras route), the home is ideally placed. The nearby streetcar line allows easy access to the city, Audubon Park and Tulane University. Explore the neighborhood pedestrian activity rich in local restaurants, coffee shops and watering holes. Magazine Street, a walk away, has boutiques, galleries, and restaurants such as Shaya, Cavan, and Apolline. The St. Charles Avenue streetcar line at Milan Street and St. Charles is easily accessible and will allow you to access different areas of the city - $1.25 one way fare. A three day pass is also available. And an Uber taxi is always close by. Its usually about a $9-10 ride to the French Quarter during regular travel demand.

Bright, Beautiful Apartment in Excellent Uptown Location

Open the yellow front door and enter an apartment that fuses traditional architecture with a modern Parisian vibe. Wake up in a light-filled bedroom and step through the floor-to-ceiling window to the gorgeous wraparound balcony. This adorable one-bedroom apartment features a brand-new kitchen and bathroom with a modern Parisian vibe. Open the yellow front door and enter a living room/kitchen combination that's got everything you need to relax comfortably after a long day riding the streetcar, strolling through Audubon Park and eating poboys and crawfish at Frankie & Johnny's. (See our complete list of the best neighborhood restaurants for more info.) A beautiful wood staircase leads upstairs to a light-filled bedroom, bath and tucked-away workspace. The cheery bathroom has subway tiles on the wall and penny rounds on the floor. There's a floor-to-ceiling window that provides access to a wraparound balcony with views of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and the lovely neighborhood. Two giant oak trees in front of the house provide a leafy green canopy for most of the year. You have your own completely private apartment and your own balcony. We have a separate front door that leads to our side of the house. We will be happy to answer questions and help out whenever we're around. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with a streetcar stop nearby that gets to downtown in just 20 minutes. Spend the day walking through the Audubon Zoo and explore the historic and exciting French Quarter at night. The apartment is a half block from a St. Charles Avenue streetcar stop. There is ample street parking in front of the house. You can walk to Magazine Street, Freret Street (also lots of restaurants and bars) and Audubon Park. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling. You must also acknowledge: Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $200.

Located in the heart of Uptown NOLA, 2 blocks from Tulane Univ. This charming 2 bedroom space is part of the main house on the property with a separate private entrance and stairwell. The space is not shared with main house. Each bedroom has a queen bed and large flat screen tv. The larger bedroom has a microwave, small refrigerator, keurig coffee maker and has an en suite bathroom. We pride ourselves in cleanliness and wash all linens before each guest arrival.
