Apartment holiday rentals in Uptown/Carrollton, New Orleans

Phil and I have been staying at Louis and Aldonia’s home every year for our anniversary, for about 3 or so years now, out of all the places in the city we have stayed.. Their place is the absolute best, extremely responsive and warm, very kind and understanding if any issues arise. They are very quick to responding. Absolutely incredible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so welcoming for us every single year. Can’t wait to come back next year and so forth!

Great location on Magazine Street! The apartment was exactly as described. Tyra was a generous and responsive host, with clear instructions that made everything easy. Parking on the street was simple, which was a huge plus. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 3 days and overall an awesome experience! Beautiful home—cozy and spacious enough for our family of 4 that include two little boys who need room to roam freely. Everything was clean and provided, including shampoos and mouthwash which can’t always be found with other hosts. Wonderful parking in front of the place. Getting in and out was easy, had a nice little patio. It’s mosquito season so, of course they were bad, but nothing drastic. The only real issue we had was having internet problems with the TV—we were able to connect it the day we came in but later had to use our hotspot. Doris had mentioned they had just gotten a new system so it’d probably be a little funny. Honestly, wasn’t even that big of a deal and we simply appreciated their honesty and how well they communicated! Wouldn’t take longer than about 15 minutes to respond to a text, which is helpful. Great experience and hope to stay again.

We felt at home at Emilys place right from the start. The apartment is in a quiet street on a walking distance to Tulane. The place has all you need and is perfect for a couple. We particularly loved the garden, which is nice and cozy for a drink or just to sit and relax. Emily was a lovely host, very helpful and very responsive.

Overall, we had a great stay. The house was really nice for what it was worth. The only issue was, the outside doesn't look to appealing. It looks disheveled and on a semi-busy street. If you are in the front 2 rooms (living room and 1st bedroom) you can hear the cars whizzing by. The 2nd/3rd bedrooms you can't really hear. The stay overall was very accommodating. The host was very responsive, the beds/linens were nice, comfy and clean. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but it did it's job. If you're on a budget, I'd definitely consider this for other guests.

Molly and Pete have amazing taste and it's on full display in this perfect apartment in a classic New Orleans double shotgun house. An exceptionally elegant space. The location could not be better--you are in easy walking distance of one of the best bakeries in the city (La Boulangerie), best music venues in the city (Tipitina's), and best po-boys in the city (Domilise's). Highly recommend!

The pictures provided look’s just as good in person, very homey vibe, and doesn’t smell bad at all. Ronell communicated very well and didn’t give me a hard time, also sent me a list of food recommendations which were very helpful. Just be mindful because I’m pretty sure he stays under the 2 bedroom. (Definitely would book again) .

The best airbnb when visiting our Tulane student. We have stayed here several times. Easy walk to PJ’s coffee and other shops on Magazine St. Off street parking for 2 cars. Security system. Clean, beautiful, comfortable. Great all around!

Great stay in New Orleans! This was an incredibly convenient location to stay in order to move my freshman out of the Loyola dorm. It was clean and comfortable and I could walk to many restaurants and stores. Loved the authentic character of the space. Will return!

This Uptown stay gave me exactly what I needed: a peaceful reset away from the buzz of the French Quarter and all the tourist traffic. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, and the apartment itself was impeccable. So much natural light, beautiful decor, and a layout that just made sense. It felt like a true retreat. I loved the flow of the space, the cozy bedrooms, and the little private outdoor area where I’d sip coffee in the morning or sit in stillness at night. Every corner felt thoughtful and inviting. Brad was a fantastic host. He was super responsive throughout our stay, and when we accidentally left some things behind, he went above and beyond to ship them back to us in Chicago. That kind of care really stood out. I see why this place is called the Vibrant Uptown Retreat. It absolutely lived up to the name. I can’t wait to return to New Orleans, and if this place is available, I already know where I’ll be staying. And you should book it too. Trust me. You won't regret it.

Conni's place was perfect for visiting our students at Tulane: a 5 minute walk to the Boot, one block to great restaurants on Maple Street, three short blocks to the Charles Street trolley. Despite being close to all the action, the neighborhood is safe and very quiet. Conni's place was impeccably clean. Although the house is older, every nook and cranny was spotless. The sheets and towels are nice quality, and there are many thoughtful touches (water in the fridge, coffee pods, etc). Conni was graciously able to accommodate an early check in and a late check out. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

We loved staying at David’s apartment! It was a walkable distance to French Quarter while facing a very quiet part of St. Charles Street. Appliances were new and clean, with very comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. We appreciated that everything was ADA compliant, which was easy to move around for my father who is a wheelchair user. Did not get to use the pool and the gym but they are available for the guests. There was a glitch on Airbnb’s system end, but David was very kind, helpful, and flexible. We miss New Orleans already, and would definitely stay at David’s apartment again!

We had a great stay in the guesthouse during our trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest. The location (just steps away from the park) was fantastic and parking always easy. We would definitely love to stay here again next year!

I had a really great time in the home & close to everything I wanted to get to

It was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed my sister-in-law‘s bachelorette we only just wish that they have more accommodations for cleaning supplies but other than that everything else was great really close to the French Quarter in Bourbon St, which are some of the main attractions as well as some of my favorite food restaurantswhen I visit back home

The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

This place was super cute and looked just like the pictures. Very clean, and felt very safe as a single woman. Great area, a few steps from Magazine, and walkable to many cute shops and restaurants. Carter was quick to respond, kind and professional. It was a great weekend visit to New Orleans, and would book with these guys any time I'm in the area. Thanks again Carter for everything! Ligy was such a wonderful host! She was friendly and extremely responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making sure our stay was the best it could be and totally went the extra mile to do so. She was very accommodating. The place itself was really nice. It was a well managed room in a time-share hotel that fit me and my father's needs perfectly for a last minute one-night stay for the super bowl without having to settle on quality or cleanliness. Thank you so much!

I can’t speak highly enough about my stay here. I’m a sucker for two things—themed apartments and hot tubs. If those speak to you, book Jim’s place right now. I am familiar with the area and was attending a conference downtown and wanted a little bit of peace and quiet before heading downtown, and this was absolutely it. There is an abundance of shops and restaurants around without having to call a car to get into the quarter, and the neighbourhood is friendly and safe to walk around. Street parking was a breeze, if you’re planning on renting a car. Nightly soak in the hot tub was A+!
