Very beautiful cabin, living room and second floor overall feels amazing and spacious, cozy. Clean and organized with everything you need but i wish the kitchen felt had blinds on them to use because i feel uncomfortable sometimes at the fact that there wasnt any window covers such as blinds, feels like it has a lack of full privacy on the 2nd floor but other than that an amazing stay and definitely worth the money, checking in and out was easy

This private cabin in the woods was beautiful with more luxury accommodations than you can imagine. The host was kind, responsive and very helpful. This cabin is very remote on a curvy road so take your time and enjoy the ride. Loved the hot tub and the beautiful deck. We would definitely come back to this location in the future and plan to stay longer.

Erica was such a wonderful host! We felt as if a friend was taking care of us. She was super responsive and checked in on us during our stay, accommodated us with supplies for activities, breakfast & we purchased an add on pizza basket which was so awesome and tasty!!! Can’t say enough good things. This place is like a slice of heaven and all the detailed touches that Erica made was everything, from the record player, to music choices, games and books. We felt like we were in our own little romance film! :) lol. Erica is great. The place is beautiful. Definitely coming back!

Spacious Fun in the Mountains.

We stayed for a 3-day weekend with four kids and 2 dogs and had a great time. Beds were comfortable, the home was clean (except under the beds, which wasn’t a big deal and out of the host’s control since he can’t exactly inspect the cleaner’s job every time), and the area is rich in history and nature. We had a lot of fun exploring the area around the home and feeding the sweet goats at the park/school right across the road. Please research healthy options to feed them though! There is hay at the school as well. If you have dogs, there is a dog run type fenced in area for them to potty and play. Bring laundry detergent and washcloths if you need them. The neighbor’s dogs are out all hours of the day and night and bark a lot, so keep that in mind if you care about that stuff. Again, out of the host’s control! We weren’t that bothered. We would definitely stay here again. If you’re thinking about booking this one, just do it!

We had our yearly family vacation here. EXTRA large log cabin with 3 levels, a bed for everyone and a small pool to play in. We choose this home because it's the last cabin down a road with much privacy. It's close to the lake, Mira Flores Winery (down the way) trails and Safeway. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Patrick's cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four (2 kids, 2 adults) for our annual Tahoe summer vacation. The cabin is gorgeous, impeccably clean and outfitted with everything you could possibly need (well appointed kitchen, bathroom amenities, etc.). The location on the West Shore is the perfect launch point for summer adventuring (hikes, biking, lake access, etc.) and the neighborhood is very quiet/peaceful. We appreciated the thorough instructions/videos provided and Patrick's prompt responses to questions, which made for a smooth stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A picturesque retreat in the forest! I kept thinking throughout our stay, this is exactly what an AirBnB should be. Carter & Shelby, unbelievably responsive and communicative hosts, have thought of everything a weary traveler could need, and want, from chargers galore, to a superb shower, to games which kept the whole family entertained. Little touches - Netflix is signed in; power strips by the bed; labels on the organic spice drawer in the kitchen - make enjoying the space utterly seamless. And you really feel like you’re in the middle of the Tahoe forest, because you are.
