We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

Lauren and Ryan's House was great! A perfect home for our family of four. The train themed bunk beds, darts and shuffleboard, fireplaces, and record player, were all hits. Lauren quickly responded to a few of our questions and made it clear that our comfort was her top priority. If you are looking for a clean, comfy, cozy and safe place by a lake, I highly recommend the Green Light Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Perfect for a Relaxing weekend with friends and Family

We had a great time. This was our second time staying at this beautiful house. Felt like going back home! Property has all you need for cooking, grilling, spices (no need to bring much with you) and complimentary coffee. Very clean. We enjoyed closeness to the lake: swimming, kayaking and beautiful views. Thank you Hosts!

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

We loved this Airbnb. It was beautiful there and Michael was quick to answer any questions. We did manage to get on the water with the kayaks, so that was great. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property in a quiet, fairly secluded setting. The home was meticulously clean and had all the amenities needed for our family - as we had a nearby wedding to attend.

We enjoyed a peaceful getaway and appreciated that it was before summer when many more people would be out on the lake. Going out on the kayak and sitting on the screened in porch listening to the birds chirping were some highlights. Rebecca is a super responsive and helpful host, willing to accommodate our needs and allowing us extra time for checkout.

I am in two minds about what to write in this review. On one hand, this property is truly mind blowing. It has been designed beautifully indoors and there is so much attention to detail. And then, the view…I’ve traveled a lot and the view blew my mind. On the other hand, I’m not sure I want too many other people to know about this gem..because I want to come back. And I am hoping this review doesn’t make that more difficult.

Just as described. The host was great and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Updated, clean, homey feeling place with thoughtful furnishings. The AC worked very well and cooled the house down very well. We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to downtown Honesdale and nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house and we’d stay here again without question.

The property was very peaceful and quiet. It is only a few minutes off the highway so very convenient. The house was very clean and comfortable. They went out of their way to make sure the heat was on with colder weather and lights were on with potential late arrival. I would definitely stay again if in the area!

Wanda’s home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed its space and historic charm. We really appreciated the fact that the home was accurately represented and everyone in our family of 5 did actually have their own bed to sleep in (and then some)! The grounds outside the home are beautiful and add to the peacefulness and charm of the residence. Wanda was a great host. She lives nearby and briefly stopped by to say hello. It was a great to meet her! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. When we asked if there happened to be a baby gate at the house, he surprised us by shipping one right away. When it showed up broken, he immediately sent a replacement without hesitation. We also accidentally got locked out, and he called us within minutes to walk us through getting back in, which we really appreciated. The house was spacious, well-stocked, and worked perfectly for our big group. If you are planning to cook for a large family, we recommend bringing a few bigger pots, since the cookware provided is better suited for smaller meals. The yard was peaceful and great for kids to explore and play. We visited in early June, and while the outdoor space was beautiful, the mosquitos were intense, so definitely pack bug spray. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again.

That was an amazing stay! The apartment was clean and the host, Pamela was incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was perfect, close to where we spend time during the long weekend and the amenities were well equipped. Highly recommend this place!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Darya's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The house is not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. It's evident that Darya takes great pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. One of the highlights for our family was definitely the game room. It was well-equipped and provided endless fun for both the kids and adults. We spent many evenings enjoying friendly competitions and creating lasting memories. The pool was another major plus – it was clean, well-maintained, and offered a refreshing escape during the warmer parts of the day. We spent countless hours lounging by the poolside, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Darya was a fantastic host, very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring her guests have a great time.

Minutes from Elk, the Wetter Homestead was a perfect home for our family during our stay. The minute you walk in the door you can feel the love that was fostered in this house—it just has a great vibe. The beds were comfy, it was absolutely spotless, and the kitchen was stocked with virtually any cooking implement you could need, all perfectly organized. Multiple spaces to hang out and outlets aplenty for charging electronics. We loved this home and cannot wait to return next season.

This house was perfect for our family to get together and celebrate our son's graduation. It was extremely well-stocked with everything you could need for your stay! We loved having the canoe, kayaks, a fire pit (with wood supplied and s'mores sticks!) and a BBQ grill. Our family had such a great time here! Thank you!

Highly recommend this for a family getaway. Spacious and roomie with some of the best views around. We had a great weekend getaway that we decided to extend for an extra day and because it was available it was easy to connect with the owner and make it happen. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

A lovely riverfront house. We were with another couple touring the beautiful Catskills Mountains on our motorcycles and used Erica's house as our home base. It was a nice retreat to come back to each day. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and saw lots of wildlife from the front porch. The house is fully stocked and very tastefully decorated with little welcoming hosting touches from Erica. The beds and linens were pristine and comfortable. (As a side note for motorcyclists, the house is down an approximate 1/2 mile gravel lane and across a railroad track and took some skill to navigate on the cycle). We highly recommend the place and hope to stay here again in the fall.
