my stay here was amazing, the apartment very nice and clean is surrounded by nature. I loved this thing. chaminda and his sons are very welcoming and helpful, they gave me several tips. there is also the possibility to rent the scooter with them and they picked up and organized the departure for me at the airport. I could also use the washing machine to do the laundry. I also had the opportunity to stay after the check out time which was very helpful for me. Thanks for your availability🙏🏻.i recommend it:)

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and have been very happy with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were easy to reach at any time. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. The city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly by bus and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuktuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk and perfect for swimming and surfing beginners. I'd come back.

Just as advertised and a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Very clean and spacious. Staff is lovely! If you’re a light sleeper, there are announcements early in the morning close to location over a loud speaker. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Ruwan is a very dear person who goes out of her way to make sure you don't miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (there was the same thing every day). Ruwan organized transportation to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was also very nice. We took a trip to the turtles and Galle along with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was like a tourist guide who also gives us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret having spent 4 nights at Ruwan's and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

Really nice little self contained unit in Unawatuna. Got everything you need and the outdoor balcony and bathroom are great and are something a bit different! Would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area as I had a great stay here, with local access to beaches, gyms, shops and proper Sri Lankan food!

Great welcome , extremely clean spaces...the only downside is the proximity to the railway...which was well indicated in the listing ...but very noisy when a train passes ...I imagine we get used to it but in 3 days we don't have time ... also 10 minutes from the market, the beach ...good location ...

We stayed four days in the condo and it was wonderful. For starters, Valentine offered to rent a motorbike for a very affordable price, and by the time we arrived, we had it available. Communication, perfect. He was very kind and responsive to any requests. The place, very clean and cared for. Despite not being on the front line, it was very well located. It's exactly like the photographs! Definitely highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing 😍 One of the best rentals in my life. Ideal for a big family or 2-3 couples, and the price is more than reasonable. Definitely exceeded my expectations. This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time! The place is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The beach is really close by and easily accessible. The property and its amenities are fantastic. We even spent an entire day in the apartment because it felt so comfortable and the balcony is just amazing, we felt like being at home. If I visit Sri Lanka again, this place would definitely be my go-to. I’m confident everyone will enjoy the breathtaking view from the balcony and the stunning sunsets from the rooftop. Loved it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
