We had a lovely stay for a week at the houseboat and didn’t want to leave. The views and location are amazing. So peaceful with lots of birds to see and beautiful scenery. The sauna and cold dips were a great start to the day. Ulrica was very friendly and welcoming with some lovely recommendations. We hope to go back again soon.

The most beautiful area of the house is the living room with the wonderful view of the water. You have a wide view of sailing boats, ferries, and also two eagles flying by. Fantastic. The garden has direct access to the water. You can also enjoy the wonderful view from the terrace. The bedrooms are simple but perfectly adequate. There were five of us. The distance to Stockholm is good. We drove to Gustavsberg and from there took the bus to Stockholm. You have a very good connection. Communication with Stephanie was very good. We felt very comfortable.

Excellent cabin with beautiful surroundings. Quiet neighbourhood with easy access to sea and forest. 30 min drive with car to Stockholm. Marlou is very attentive and super friendly and we had a great stay. Highly recommended!

Thomas and his family are the nicest hosts you could ask for. This week on the Aspö island flew by and is marked by beautiful memories. We were given a small boat so that we could explore the beautiful surroundings independently. On the various terraces around the house you can follow the sun all day long. The equipment of the house offers everything you need for barbecuing and for quiet summer days. The many different seating options on the terraces were particularly great. The view from the main room is a dream. Thank you for everything!!

We liked the location very much. The center of Stockholm or the archipelago can be reached optimally by ferry from the Hasseludden stop (10 minutes by car, free parking).

We were a bunch of friends renting this home and were so happy. Very social area both indoors and out on the terrace, large and good kitchen, many bathrooms and incredibly nice views and a quiet and nice area both close to swimming and nature trails for walks and runs. We can highly recommend this place!

We stayed with 2 families and it felt like being home in Sweden. The lake and the pool were loved by the kids. We had a great time!

We had an amazing stay at Rika's place in Saltsjobaden. It exceeded all expectations and both us and our kids felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. The house is perfectly set up for a family. Everything is super easy to find and the house has everything and more you could ask for. We also absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to and easy to get around.

A very nice house. We took it very clean and ordered the final cleaning separately, which is highly recommended for the sizes of the house. The contact with Fredrika was exclusively online, always very nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children, but the 5 rooms with sleeping facilities were great. At least the two bigger beds were a little too soft for us, but that's a habit. Complete decor of the house, we didn't lack anything. Outside a nice little pool and a gas grill. It's only a 10-minute walk to the well-attended beach in the village, as well as to the bus stop. From there you can reach the center of Stockholm in 25 minutes. A shopping mall is close by too. We had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

We had such an amazing time. The house was a few minutes walk from the sea and a lovely beach area. There was a lovely walk way along the water that took you into the forest. The house was lovely. So well equipped with everything you would need. Absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back. Maria was such a helpful host, very responsive and helpful which really made our stay even better.

Wonderful stay. Went there for a week. A total of 2 families with 2 toddlers and a baby. Plenty of activities in the backyard and toys. A lot more spacious than we thought. A total of 2 floors plus an attic. 3 rooms in the top floor and 2 rooms in the ground floor. Lots of privacy if you travel with another family. Each of you get its own floor with its own full bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 4 (2 teens). Everything is as described in this large comfortable home. We didn’t have a car so the location is fantastic for an archipelago and city holiday. Highlights - the sun filled lounge area with the hot tub and the peaceful garden - less then 10 min walk to beach area with diving boards and an amazing bakery/cafe; hot food truck and sweet shop - One evening we used the ToGoodToGo app for the bakery and picked up an amazing surprise bag for less than €5 - 5 min walk to a huge mall area with multiple grocery shops and restaurants. - We walked into Gustavsberg along a beautiful forest walk which took about 40 mins - 20 mins by bus into Stockholm (433 or 434 bus). It’s easy to miss the stop on the way back so best to get off at the shopping centre or the bakery. - A very minor point if it’s important to you, no hairdryer so bring a travel one!

Tomas was responsive and proactive. He made sure that we were familiar with the property and addressed any needs we had. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware and eating utensils. The house was well decorated and provided a feeling of comfort. The home's design was fun and unique and the hot tub a perfect end for a busy day!

We spend a magical holiday at Ulrika and Peter’s home on Älgö. Ulrika and Peter are fantastic hosts and made the stay so easy and enjoyable, from welcoming me to their home, to seeing me off! What can I say about the house and the location? It really is a slice of paradise. You feel like you are totally in Nature, but you are only 30min away from central Stockholm and all it’s attractions. We had lovely walks around the island, and if you are into boating or kayaking, you can indulge right in front of the house. There is easy access to two shopping centres and a great dinner location at Holmen Kök and Bar a couple of bays over. I do recommend if you are coming from overseas that you hire a car. We could not have found a nicer, better equipped, tranquil, yet central holiday location for exploring Stockholm and its beautiful archipelago if we had tried. A wonderful place for our group of friends to reconnect and spend a special holiday together. Thank you, Ulrika and Peter!

We stayed as a family of four and felt very comfortable in the two weeks. The location of the house is incomparably great to reach via a private path and located on a quiet lake. The pictures reflect it very well. The lakes in the area can be hiked through forests and rocks via trail trails and you feel far away from the city in places. On the property we had daily visits from a geese family and deer and once even from a cross otter that has sunk on a rock in the garden. There was even a private dock on the lake - so it's also worth bringing a canoe or kayak. The house was very clean and well appointed. There was enough storage space for our own stuff and food. The landlady welcomed us with warm words and we were even invited to lend ourselves to her supplies in case of doubt. Stockholm and also the coast are quickly accessible by car. Great holiday for peace-seeking adventurers.

We had a great time in this beautiful and bright house. We loved the wonderful view into the wood and to the sea. We enjoyed to jump into the water and our little daughter loved to go around. The sauna was great and there are very nice places around. When we had a question we still got quick answers. We where very sad to leave this little paradise. It is a great location to find calm and live with the nature. Tyresö slot and Alby are beautiful places not far away. So thank you for this great time!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful spot! The pictures don’t do it justice - the positioning and the home are beautiful. The house has everything we needed. The sauna and waterfront were really wonderful. The town of Dalaro is quite charming; we enjoyed kayaking, good restaurants, taking the ferry further into the archipelago. We would happily stay again!

The holiday house is well equipped and suitable for two families. It has a lot of character and plenty of space. The location and surroundings are perfect. It is located in the green, but still only 30 min away from Stockholm. We had moose and coming by in the evening which felt like a fairytale. Yvonne is a friendly host. The location of the house is more than fantastic. Shops are in walking-distance, Stockholm, National park and Archipelago Sea are very close by car. We enjoyed especially the wonderful lake and its possibilities. The kitchen is very well equiped.

this is a great little house, a minute walk from the water, in a nice, curated, safe, quiet neighborhood in the archipelago of Stockholm. It's a 20 minute drive from Stockholm center. The house was clean and had everthing we needed.

We were warmly welcomed by our host and felt right at home in his house. It is very well equipped and lovingly furnished. As soon as the weather allowed, we sat on the beautiful terrace with BBQ and additional lounge corner. The parking lot was very sufficient even for our large bus. Across the street and over a short path, you can already reach the first jetty on the water. A few meters away there was another swimming spot with jetties and stones for lying down…magnificent views included. In good memory, the boat tour with our host will also stay on one of the archipelago islands. To Stockholm we took the bus from Salzjöbaden. This one drove every 20 minutes during the day and in about 30 minutes we were in the center. Our hosts were always available with advice. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a guest!
