Family-friendly holiday rentals in Twentynine Palms

This is a beautifully restored mid-century home with a huge pool. It's up on a hill which provides beautiful views of the mountains and night sky. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a great place to chill, this is it. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time, Daniel‘s place is awesome! The yard is so peaceful. The house is so nice and tidy , it was beautiful at night looking at the stars and enjoying all of the nature that’s surrounds the place. I had a great time and I definitely plan on Staying here again in the future, it was perfect Location, close to everything that we wanted to see and do , I will definitely be returning for a longer trip next time.

Had an amazing weekend getaway! The home was perfect. Very private, great scenery, peaceful, quiet, and sooo relaxing. Carolann and Andreas’s home made us feel right at home. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We spent most of our time enjoying the warm pool and hot spa. Got a chance to see a few shooting stars from the spa, even with the moon being so bright, which was a plus Definitely a five star location. Thank you again!!

Marcos place was awesome, beautiful backyard where we enjoyed watching sunset, we enjoyed the hot-tub, also the kitchen had everything so we easily cooked our dinner, Marcos was quick to respond to the situation which came during our stay

Coreys dome house is the best styled Airbnb I have rented- its gorgeous with tasteful and interesting art & curiosities. It feels more like staying in a cool friends' home than a rental home. We took great use of the hot tub and well equipped kitchen and the very convenient entrance to Joshua Tree Park.

My wife and i truly enjoyed our stay. Venus's place was very peaceful and tranquil.

Great house inside and out, a little hard to get to since we have a two wheel drive. Appliances could use an update, otherwise the interiors are beautiful and modern. Would love to stay again!

Audrey was so friendly throughout our stay, and her home felt so cozy. I absolutely love that her place had so much personality. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Diane was an incredible host! Her and the Hidden Passage crew have created such a beautiful and peaceful oasis and made mine and my partner’s anniversary vacation an absolute dream! It truly felt like we were removed from society for a small moment and that’s exactly what we needed. The property was so well managed and kept so pristine! Every staff member we met on site was so kind and extremely helpful! I could not recommend this place enough! Also the pool rocks, we spent every single day in it!

Really cool place…peace and quiet, nice views, close to the park. Very roomy inside and very well insulated. We opened all the windows at night and closed them all before we left for the park. The place was still nice and cool inside when we got back. Breakfast on the front porch, outstanding. We would highly recommend this place.

This was our first time in Joshua Tree, and quite honestly I can’t imagine a better place to have stayed. The house itself feels as though it was built from the surrounding area - incredibly homey while also being stylish. It was extremely comfortable and it was in the perfect location. The view is incredible and the sunsets and sunrises are precious. Cannon the host was wonderful to communicate with and was very friendly. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

My friends and I had so much fun here it’s a beautiful property and I think it healed me haha it has everything you could want in a little get away :) would just say the only issue we had was one of the rooms doesn’t have black out curtains so bring sleep eye masks luckily I had one but we will definitely be back loved it !

Travis and Kevin are amazing. We were long term AirBnB stayers here in Joshua Tree. We created some beautiful memories in this home and Travis/Kevin were always incredibly responsive whenever we needed them. This is a must stay if it’s available and you’re traveling to the area!

Our stay was great. Very relaxing. Lauren & Joel were amazing in responding to messages. We had to find a place last minute due to fires in Southern California and they were quick to help us. Definitely will recommend their place. It is remote but peaceful. The only problem we had is the kitchen was a little dirty but we understand that has nothing to do with the host but the cleaning person. Thank you so much for having us.

This was such a great place to stay. A stylish, well equipped & well loved home in a really special location. Highly recommended. The only downside for us was the full moon that spoiled the star gazing!

This is the 4th time we have stayed here. We love it!! There is a hill of boulders that leaves me breathless every time I look at it. To see this hill with the rare Big Horned Sheep, takes me over the top emotionally. We also love the landscaping with the natural desert in mind. The house is decorated to fit the desert and the most well equipped Airbnb we,’ve ever stayed at. We spent a lot of time out in the patio watching the Chuckwallas, Roadrunners, Quail and Big Horned Sheep. There’s a ton of birds also. When it got warm, we went in the pool. The temperature of the water was perfect. Super refreshing on a hot day.

We cannot say enough great things about this rental. We loved it so much we never even made it to the national park. This is the perfect spot to spend a weekend. The house is lovely, spacious, and comfortable - equipped with anything you could need. We will be back as soon as we can!

Fantastic!!!! Our vacation at Oded’s place in Yucca Valley exceeded our expectations. Oded provided excellent directions and instructions on how to enter the property and responded quickly if we had a question. The interior of the house is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen has everything you will need. We especially enjoyed the espresso machine. 😊 The exterior is even more amazing. Plenty of furniture for lounging; the saltwater pool is perfect for swimming or just relaxing. Sitting in the jacuzzi at night and watching the stars was incredible. An added treat were the two owls that showed up each night and sat in the nearby Yucca Trees. We highly recommend Oded’s place and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our night at this wonderful little spot while visiting Joshua tree. It was nice and close to the Yucca valley town ship which made getting to restaurants etc easy. The view and surrounds were gorgeous. Everything was clean modern and comfortable, with a nice homely feel. We wish we had longer there!

My husband and I stayed at Heike and Georg’s cozy desert home for a birthday staycation and it was everything we could have hoped for! The temperature was perfect to make use of the pool and the privacy made spending lots of outdoor time all the better. Aside from the pool, we loved the homey and curated decor which left us feeling creative and inspired throughout the trip. Heike and Georg were very accommodating, even giving us an early check in so we could make the most of our trip. They were also very responsive with all of our questions and made our stay that much better.

This house is an absolute gem. The views are drop dead gorgeous and it is close to restaurants and shopping. The view from the Conroy tub is so private and beautiful. Daniel was a great host and the house was clean and just rest for a relaxing time in Joshua Tree.

4th stay - Consistently great! Rhonda, Brian, and team offer consistency with the hot springs house. All necessary and nice to have information is provided in advance so you know exactly what you are getting. This team knows what they are doing and anticipates the needs of a variety of guests. There are many helpful books about the area ranging from art to geology to the indigenous people, and of course the JT National Park. The hot springs house has everything you need for cooking/eating in and self-care. A lot of thought and care goes into the experience. The art work has been rotated, new games provided, and a variety of coffee brewing methods. We love the local shopping and seem to always have the best conversations with the shop owners. Such a fun community. We can't wait for our next visit!
