Other than trying to locate river access (which was under construction) Michelles place was fantastic. We actually arrived a few hours earlier than expected and after a quick message, we were allowed early access which was fantastic. The home was clean, the hot tub was awesome and we’d stay there again! Shes a fantastic host!

Retro Casa was perfect for our 2 day trip to Sequoia. Space and accommodations as described. Clean and cozy place, the play room was awesome for hanging out on the property in the early morning and evening. The location is super convenient right as your exit Sequoia, and right near a restaurant and some shops for any last minute needs. This fit our adventure and relax plans perfectly. The host was proactive about information and all the tips for the surrounding area.

We are writing this review with so much gratitude. My family and I were looking to take a break from the city, and somehow the universe led us to this beautiful gem. What first drew us in was the river—but once we arrived, we discovered so much more. The home has such a warm, welcoming energy that made us feel instantly at ease. The host has done a wonderful job setting up the space. It was stocked with all the essentials, including a full kitchen (perfect for cooking every meal), excellent air conditioning, two bathrooms, and plenty of outdoor amenities to enjoy. And yes—the river is even better in person! We also appreciated the little shop within walking distance and the convenience of a nearby Walmart. This is a great spot for a large family—and it’s pet-friendly too! We truly loved our stay and highly recommend this peaceful retreat. Thank you to the host for creating such a thoughtful and comforting space. Your attention to detail and care made our stay truly special.
