Our stay was absolutely magical - from the clean, comfortable, stylishly well appointed home to the gorgeous surroundings, we loved every moment. David was also wonderful, gave clear instructions and was very responsive. 11/10 would recommend - we can't wait to visit again!

This place was perfect for our family of three for a long weekend. The room had everything we needed and the views of the village from the balcony were amazing. Lots to do in the village and plenty more just a short drive down the road to Stowe. We’d love to come back in the summer when there are more outdoor activities available.

Look no further if you're traveling with toddlers—this Airbnb is a dream for families! The location is perfect: tucked just outside of Stowe, it offers peaceful country vibes, a spacious backyard, and stunning mountain views from every window—all while being just a short drive from town. What really sets this home apart is how toddler-friendly it is. It's a BabyQuip heaven—stocked with everything from a high chair and nugget couch (iykyk!), to Fisher Price Little People toys, coloring supplies, a train set, games, and more. Our toddler had a blast and was perfectly content spending evenings at the house, thanks to the endless entertainment options. The host went above and beyond—the home was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend for any family looking for a relaxing, kid-friendly escape in Vermont!

Michael and Shayna are great and responsive hosts. The house is as beautiful, airy and large as per the pictures. It is absolutely impeccably clean! The kitchen is fantastic! The location is calm and private with nice landscaping, birds and even a mini pond with frogs. At night, we heard the loons. There are many varied spaces to discover and enjoy, inside and outside, such as the inviting large game room, the pretty solarium or the outside decks. We went kayaking in the interesting bay and had fun going under the covered bridge and to Whetstone island. We opted to use the nearby boat ramp at Forand park as an easier way to put the kayak in the water. There is a walkable small access to the bay which is a good place to bring paddle boards. It was still early in the season and the small deck wasn't installed yet. Finally, we enjoyed getting smoked fish at Keet Baird just a little down the street. Thank you for the great escape and welcoming us in you house!

weekend family trip for 6 of us and our dog(4 adults and 2 kids), plenty of space for everyone, and much larger than I expected! we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, playing board games on the large dining room table, swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub, wrapping the nights up with a movie on their Roku TV! Kristin was very responsive in her communication, we had a lovely time and would love to plan future trips here again!

We had a great time staying with Bill and Nancy. The house was spotless, exceptionally well-equipped if you want to cook for yourself, and was a very homey spot for our family celebration. The location was beautiful -- right by the river -- and was convenient to most any adventures you'd want to undertake in the Northeast Kingdom. Only note: the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and would pose problems for people with mobility challenges.

Steve's place is spacious and welcoming. It has all necessary amenities and more. There were 8 of us traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids. The place was big enough for all of us, and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the basement. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to feed our group, from making lots of coffee in the morning to having a quiet dinner at night. The drive to Bromont Mountain was quick and easy, which made it very convenient to ski with the kids. We would recommend Steve's cottage and come back again.

We have stayed at Neal’s place multiple times in the spring and fall, and have always found it to be convenient and cozy. This time, unexpected snow and a town-wide power-outage made the propane fireplace, battery-powered lantern, and handheld flashlight more than just ambiance-enhancers! They were peace-of-mind enhancers! Thank heavens we had received our Chicken Confidential sandwiches at Black Bird Bistro (a MUST every time we’re in town!) five minutes before the outage. Vacation saved!

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

Great place! Magical for relaxing. The forest surrounding the loft is beautiful, as is the loft. Easy and fast communication. We are won over.

This home is so much fun for a family ski vacation! Board games and kids movies are available, plenty of sleeping space and room to move. Close to Jay Peak, and has beautiful mountian views. The kids loved running in the field and warching for deer in the morning. The house was immaculate and well stocked. Towels are very fluffy! The host is extremely responsive. We are already planning our next stay!

Home was a great spot to stay for skiing at Jay. Jay Country Store was less than a minute ride for anything you may need. Home was as decribed. Clean home and comfortable beds. We cooked every night in the kitchen for dinner. We were allowed to stay longer day of check out which was great for our group to visit longer. We also did a walk at Jay Recreational Centere which was a 2 minute drive from the house. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks!

We showed up to a beautiful house! The house is nicely decorated. The place had everything you would need to stay. While it rained the entire time we were there, the fireplace made it nice and cozy to stay inside on the expandable couch. The upstairs shower (the only one we used) was spacious, hot and clean. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in case you forgot yours! The bed, pillows and linens were exactly what I was hoping for! It did stop raining long enough for us to take a stroll around the twin ponds. Very well manicured, ponds and surrounding yard. We weren’t really able to use the outside furniture for long but everything looked very nice and well kept. My husband and I spent the weekend there for our 21st wedding anniversary and had a great time spending secluded, peaceful, quality time together. I highly recommend staying and enjoying this beautiful home! We can’t wait to stay at Veronique and Shelley’s other properties!

Although it was a short trip Dana’s place was great! It was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay another time if i’m in the area again. Thank you Dana!

Joseph's place was attractive and well maintained. We had a few issues, but he was very, very responsive and helpful with troubleshooting. I was not expecting to be in a town with historical charm and tranquil beauty.

This was a gorgeous home away from home! Spectacular views of Jay Peak nestled in the woods of a quiet neighborhood. We had a few minor questions/concerns while there that were quickly answered/resolved with the management team who were very responsive. The bed layout could’ve been explained a bit better - somewhat unclear prior to arrival based on drawings and explanations available online. We actually had more room to spread out than we realized in advance. If you enjoy cooking the cookware left some room for improvement but met our basic needs. Being able to park in the garage was an added bonus. Great experience - would definitely recommend and would go back!

Etienne and Kim's house was perfect for a quiet weekend with friends. The place is warm, relaxing and welcoming.

The White Owl Cottage is a wonderful and spacious location on a quiet road. It’s impossible to critique a lake front home with kayaks and canoes; space for s’mores; an expansive interior and a modern home. Hotel level water pressure. TV’s for rain. Toys for kids. We generally have a “one time only” rule to make sure we visit different places, and we may break it to visit the White Owl Cottage again - it’s that amazing.

We had a wonderful stay! Jenny was so kind and took the time to chat with our kids about the animals on the farm, which they absolutely loved. Kyle was also incredibly friendly and came by to check in when we accidentally set off the smoke detectors 😅—thank you both for handling that moment with such kindness and helping us feel less embarrassed! The house was beautiful, and the view from the property was absolutely stunning. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
