Located in the non touristic area of Dorsoduro less than 10 min. walking from Piazzale Roma and just 3 more min. from the central train station of Santa Lucia, Ca' Forcola is the perfect place to experience Venice like a Venetian. Recently-restored AIR-CONDITIONED bright apt with gorgeous wooden beams in the middle of charming Cannaregio district. You will find all modern amenities, sapiently mixed with a Venetian flavor. Perfect location, 10-min walking distance from the train station, few steps away from public boat transport, local restaurants (not tourist traps) and bars. IMP: the apt is on the top (4th floor, great view and no mold) of a building WITHOUT ELEVATOR. Extra fee for check-ins after 8 pm (see below)

An entire apartment with a Venetian style decor, in a private palazzo from the 1600's, with a STUNNING VIEW. Situated on the 1st floor, the apartment has one large bedroom with a queen sized bed. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a big shower.The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso machine. The entrance opens up into a very big living area with a canal view where you can sit and basically touch the water while you are enjoying a glass of wine.

Quite fascinating space, due to a tasteful refurbishing, where each detail has been carefully designed. It Is on the second floor, under the roof beams, of a small building situated right behind the main street “ Strada nuova” . Bright, confortable, cosy and quiet. Has windows on 2 sides and overlooks roofs, a canal and an open area. At 1 min walk there are 2 supermarkets, many food shops, restaurants, pizzerie, wine bars…you could not expect more. Two waterbus stops are at 2/5 min walk.

if you are coming to Venice, this is a must day. This was our first trip to Venice, but we quickly learn that we had stayed on the street where the locals hang out. This is off the tourist section with many food options on the same street, our favorite was Tintoretto. It is a 15 minute walking tour from the train station.. I cannot say enough nice things.

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Christian’s place. The apartment is about a thirty minute walk to the farthest points in Venice. The apartment was super clean and organized. The only thing I will add is the apartment is a bit smaller than what it looks like in the pictures. Absolutely recommend though. It was perfect for us.

She was very responsive, friendly and gave clear instructions on what to do. We stayed for two nights and have no complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Water feature was pleasant and unique. Was pleased to see enough espresso capsules to get me started and grocery store close to replenish. Door and multiple windows right on canal. Amazing experience. Helpful and responsive host. Best of my stays in Italy.

I can only recommend this appartement to anyone looking for a cosy, but near the centre place. You are at the end of a small road, near the boat station, so you'll be pretty calm especially with the garden that is provided. You're at 25 minutes by foot of the san marco basilic, and right five minutes from all the restaurants and bars you could ask for. The host were also very welcoming, and helped us get through the tourist tax problems, and just overall settle in. You can absolutely book the place blindly, at least we did, and had the most wonderful time!
