It was lovely at Tina's place. The cottage had everything we were looking for and was super nice. The parking space for the car was also very nice. We were warmly welcomed by a very sweet black cat and look back on our vacation with a nice feeling.

Tanja's place is a great spot to stay when visiting Izola. It's within walking distance of the promenade and beaches, and it includes a parking spot—a rare find during peak season. The apartment is very well equipped for a short stay, with a comfortable bed and a spacious shower. The outdoor area is a bonus, complete with furniture and a gas BBQ. Tanja is a fantastic host—very friendly and welcoming. She shared freshly picked cherries and wine with us, and we had a lovely evening together. As a sweet farewell gesture, she even gave our son a plush toy. We're already looking forward to coming back!

We have been here for the 2nd time now and will be back again. James is the perfect host who really goes out of his way and cares. The house is beautifully idyllically in the countryside, yet the center is within walking distance. Everything perfect, look forward to next time.

4 of us stayed for 1 night, lovely host. Good location & easy to walk to beach. Parking available. Very nice balcony, comfortable beds & slept well. Good facilities and would happily stay again if we were in the area. No complaints at all 🙂

Smarje is a lively, well equipped village with a great local food store with delicious baked croissants, bread, meats, veg & fruit. It is a few min walk to the store & bus stop. People are every friendly & helpful & it is easy to catch the bus to Koper Izola & Piran. Jani provided a list of recommendations for transport, restaurants & parking spaces in these towns, which was very helpful. Jani's place is super clean, with good parking and he is only to happy to help with any questions/ concerns. Highly recommend Jani"s place to stay in.

Very good stay. The welcome is very friendly and is accompanied by good recommendations and explanations about the area. The apartment is very beautiful, impeccable and very quiet. Ideal for relaxation after visiting the coast. The terrace is also very nice, in short everything was perfect.

Our short trip to Slovenia was really great & and we were very satisfied with the accommodation. It was quiet and you could visit many beautiful places on short distances, the accommodation near Koper was ideal for this. Everything was very clean and as described. Great host! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication was smooth, and check-in was easy. Would definitely stay again!

We liked it very much. Small but nice. Great bed, in the kitchen everything necessary was available, only the stove was a bit strange, it only worked with a lot of persuasion. Patrik is a very nice host who immediately invited us to a homemade nut liqueur. On the first morning, the mother served us cherry strudel. The location is perfect. Close to Koper and not far from many beautiful cities, e.g. Piran etc. All in all highly recommended.

First, the apartment is in a great location. You are within 25 min - 1/2 hour of all the major local attractions: Lipica Stud Farm, Skocjan Cave, and Postojna Cave. Second, the town is small, peaceful, and pretty. There are 2 bars nearby for drinks and snacks and 3 miles away there are restaurants and supermarkets. Third, the apartment is spacious and lovely and extremely clean and neat. As a visitor from Italy, I appreciated that the bathroom had a bidet, which you don't often see in Slovenia. Fourth, our host was very kind, helpful, and friendly. He had a lot of available information about the area ready. When we asked him for some other information, he immediately fetched it. He gifted us with many snacks, foods and wine, very kindly. This apartment is a great place in which to enjoy rural Slovenia.

Peter’s apartment is so magic… this place is so quiet and renovated very esthetic. You’re in the middle of nowhere. You can have slow mornings with sunshine and nature. But don’t forget you need to have car. Wifi works very well. Kitchen well equipped.

The place was an absolute find. It was everything we hoped. Beautiful home, well furnished. Best thing was the greeting. We were personally met and we were really well taken care of. We were given tips of the local restaurants and sights, and the service was really, really frienldy. Full five stars

Peter was always very friendly and responded quickly to questions. The check-in was very flexible and Peter greeted us personally. The house was great. Very spacious, everything is sparkling clean and everything you need is also available. We immediately felt very comfortable and would stay with Peter again at any time. There's nothing wrong with it.

Very nice apartment, very convenient to enjoy piran. Modern decor, well equipped and the terrace is a real asset. I recommend it.

Sandi is a great host of great kindness. We loved the very clean house, with a nice terrace and beautiful views. Very nice environment. We are delighted with our stay at Sandi's. There is a place to park the car.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Vasco, but we got to spend time with Giacomo, who is very helpful, friendly and informative. Giacomo provided a quick (and, for us, better!) solution when we found the washing machine was not working as expected. We had been traveling a couple of weeks and so his help was very important! The house is ideal if occupied by the same family so that the grand, historic ground floor and rooftop terrace can be fully enjoyed. We rented just one apartment but there were no other guests; so we had use of the entire common space ourselves. Walking to restaurants and cafes in Cormons is about 15 minutes along via Colombicchio and via San Giovanni —this route offers views of the hills, as opposed to a quicker route through uninspiring residential streets. The location just on the edge of town is convenient for making day trips by car. The location is not rural, but there are fine views over green hills from the apartment.

Silva was a great host, very welcoming and helpful with check-in and providing us with recommendations for the area during our stay. It's a lovely apartment, with many personal touches, including art by Silva and her family of artists. The place was quiet and private, and had everything we needed for our stay. Was the perfect base we needed.

Great place. Had everything we needed and was perfectly located. Simon was very helpful. Getting in was a little tricky but mainly because we arrived at night. Simon provided good photo instructions but, again, at night, well, it was dark - not his fault. A warning: the apartment is on the fifth floor and there's no elevator. That was no problem for us (and maybe that's in the listing) but it's something to consider if you're older and/or have a disability. But otherwise, it's a great apartment. I would definitely rent it again.

We enjoyed the journey also because of this nice and cozy apartment. We were with two smaler children and it took about 10 minutes by walk to the sea, 20 min to the center. Everything was very clean and also nice. We shurly recomend Dajans apartment.

We had 10 wonderful days in Andrej's apartment. The terrace is a dream to have breakfast or read in the evening, etc. The surroundings were very quiet for us. The apartment has a very cleverly thought-out and designed spatial concept in which we quickly felt very comfortable and at home. Andrej helped us very quickly with all questions. The arrival was no problem for us by car to unload the luggage, as we have a very small car. If you still need a stroller, a small lightweight model is more practical, as the steps are quite narrow to carry a stroller into the apartment. We enjoyed the stay as a whole very much and would be happy to come back

After spending nights in 15 different hotels throughout Croatia and Slovenia it was a such joy to walk into Suzana’s place and have it all to ourselves for 5 nights. Although the space is compact it is extremely well-designed and very functional with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is a great location with a 10 min downhill walk into the centre of Piran. We loved being close to the centre but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We spent the afternoons reading on the gorgeous patio and then walked back into town for dinner. We didn’t have a car but there is a car spot out front if you have a car. Tony and Suzana went out of their way to assist us and gave us lots of good advice on things to see and places to eat. I would absolutely recommend Suzana’s place to anyone visiting Piran but be prepared to walk up and down hills!
