The property is located in an old farmhouse from 1850. Hallau is located in the countryside on the German border between the Black Forest and Lake Constance. There is public transport, but a car is an advantage. In a two-minute walk you can reach the bus station, grocery store, bakery and bank. We are child friendly and non-smokers. I do a duck breeding. The ducks are in one of the two gardens.

The cottage was perfectly tailored to our wishes and needs and the location with this fantastic view of the Swiss mountains was simply fantastic! Everything necessary was available and you felt right at home. Despite the large glazing, privacy was preserved and one had the impression of being completely alone with nature. Our hosts Zeno & Carina were always approachable when needed and very, very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely recommend it!!! Tanja & Stephan

Great accommodation right below the vineyards. Perfect starting point for excursions in the area, whether local in the vineyards, or after a short drive in the Black Forest, to Lake Constance or Switzerland. We felt very comfortable.

We arrived from a long car trip with the young children. They were delighted with the playground (a tree house with a slide), the yard and the toys. The accommodation is simple, but well suited for a night, with small children and for washing clothes. The place has a bit of a stale, dusty smell, but nothing too bad. Black-out in all windows. But we had a major inconvenience after the stay. The host filed a complaint on Airbnb demanding that we pay the equivalent of +1 night and was rude, in addition to exaggerating, as well as paying +BRL90 for a toy 'damaged' by the children. He complained about the noise of the children. They wanted us to leave the place spotless and ready for the next guests, without them having to clean anything (and without leaving instructions or conditions about the additional charge). They even complained about us being 15 minutes late at check-out. Finally, it became an unprecedented headache. It may not be the best option for young children.

The apartment is very large and bright. It is beautifully located in the countryside, yet shopping is nearby. The reception was very friendly and the hostess was always available. Our guests from Spain felt very comfortable.
