Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Trapper Creek

Our stay was great! the place was easy to find since the host posted clear directions! they were very accommodating, flexible and responsive. it was a very nice peaceful place to stay. we highly recommend it!

This is the third time I have stayed at this home. It has served my non-profit organization well as we transition from Kenai to Denali. The town of Talkeetna is always a favorite stop for my participants and staff. The home provides us a respite from the town activities at night and gives us a chance to enjoy what is offered.

Kelly And Rob were super helpful in communications. Their place had a different interior compared to present day ultra modern Airbnb’s we stayed at other places. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a sense as if we were the inside the woods in a safari 😌. The cupboard was full of games and we ended up at night having a game of Phase 10 for 2 hours . The place was just 10 minutes drive from town. Would love to come back again someday.

We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. We had a good night's rest and would love to come again

Duronda’s place was very cute and very close to the downtown. It was very cozy and felt right at home.

Excellent spot. We like to cook dinner and they had everything we needed. It was perfect for the two of us. Very private but close to Talkeetna. I’d absolutely stay here again. I had a question and they were quick to respond. I hope to stay here in the future. Thanks for having us!

Very nice and isolated cabin in the birch woods. The outdoor firepit gave the kids a ton of fun. They spent the evening lighting up fires and chopping woods. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with a couch downstairs for 7 people. The indoor fire furnace was easy to light up, but hard to control the tempreture. It was too hot for a few hours then a bit cold in the early morning. The kitchen/bath/dining areas are all nice. My family rated this cabin the best of the 4 airbnbs for this trip. Suggestion for future tenants: bring bug spray if the kids want to spend the evening out door with the firepit.

Me and my sister loved this place!! I wish we could’ve stayed for longer but our itinerary had to be changed for coordination reasons. Our favorite was the relaxing sauna, which was perfect, and we took a nice bath/jacuzzi with the bath salts that was amazing. I had one of the best sleeps on this trip in the loft bed, which was SO COZY. all the thoughtful details, amenities, and decor were so perfect, I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars!

It’s the perfect place ! Peaceful and Andrea has went the extra mile to make sure that you have everything you need and more . She goes beyond what is even expected ! We highly recommend this cabin !

Stayed one night here and everything was clean, Shelley had seemingly thought of everything and was very responsive. Really enjoyed the styling and books in the cabin. Didn’t have too much time to enjoy the outside stuff, but it felt very peaceful being there.

Cozy, comfortable home that had everything we needed. Bed was super comfortable and the hot shower was so nice. The view was spectacular and you really are "away from it all" but also conveniently just off of Parks Highway. It is a jaunt to gas/grocery/restaurants that required a little bit of planning ahead which was no big deal but that's the fun of being secluded in Alaska! The caretaker was on grounds and very attentive and the host was very accessable and easy to communicate with, both eager to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We loved our stay and hope to return.

This cabin is so cozy and perfect for a getaway. I absolutely love everything about it. It makes you feel right at home in the country. Thank you Robin for sharing this awesome place with us. We will definitely be back again.

Sweet, rustic cabin with homey touches! It’s cozy and among the trees. It’s part of a cluster of cabins that would be great for a large group or family stay given a shared patio, grill, etc. There are four larger cabins that look like newer builds, and cabin 1 is spotless and has everything a small family or pair of friends traveling need. It’s walking distance to the brush airport to Denali, and many will find downtown Talkeetna within walking distance too — maybe a mile. Super responsive hosts. All in all, a great spot for an outdoorsy casual weekend. Thanks!
