This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

I would give 10 stars if possible! The place is just amazing, Paulo and Isabelle created a beautiful paradise with a breathtaking view and everything one needs for an unforgettable holiday. And on top of that, they are amazing hosts: kind, helpful and just lovely. Obrigado, we loved staying with you

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

A estadia correu incrivelmente bem. Estavamos com expectativas elevadas, mas conseguiu superar as mesmas. A casa está muito bem localizada e a decoração é maravilhosa! Por mim, o João e a Debora são impressionantes como anfitriões, não deixaram nada ao acaso e sempre disponíveis para ajudar. A repetir com toda a certeza!

This is a very old house, located in a small farm town. The house is tucked in the back of the street and can be a bit hard to find. Luckily one of the friendly neighbors pointed me to the place and I just parked outside the house. I would recommend this house if you’re looking to experience what it’s like to live in a typical house in this area. Not the most modern but it’s fun for a short stay.

Ficamos surpreendidos com a casinha, muito bem decorada e impecavelmente limpa e organizada. Localizada em local calmo, ideal para passar uns dias de descanso. As crianças se divertiram muito na piscina e com o quintal e, ainda pudemos colher tomates frescos da horta! Foi uma estadia muito agradável.

A casa é excelente, corresponde às fotos e superou as expectativas. Muito bem cuidada, com tudo o que é necessário para passar um tempo tranquilo e relaxante. O cuidado e simpatia da Linda e da pessoa que nos recebeu foram excecionais e fizeram-nos sentir em casa. Recomendo sem sombra de dúvida e espero voltar! Muito obrigada :)

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We had an amazing time here! Gorgeous views, lovely spacious and well set-up apartment but most of all the best hosts, Cristina was extremely helpful and welcoming, offering home baked cookies even! Additionally, Bruno as well as his parents were kind and welcoming. We tasted the farm’s wines and were happily surprised. The pool is amazing, the setting is most serene. We drove to the Douro river to visit some wineries and the drive is lovely. I can’t fault this place. Hopefully coming back soon!

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

Se procuras um lugar para descansar e ficar mais tranquilo longe do trânsito e mais junto à natureza, é o ideal. A casa está toda equipada com tudo o que precisa para cozinhar, higiene etc. A piscina que a casa disponibiliza, tem uma vista muito bonita, e é uma boa piscina! Por outro lado, a cidade mais próxima é Seia, onde é possível ir de carro ( 8 a 10 min). O local onde se encontra o airbnb é uma aldeia muito pequena, não há entretenimento quase nenhum (o que é bom por não ter incomodo de vizinhos). A entrada para a casa também é super pequena e estreita. No geral, passei 2 noites muito tranquilas, fizemos nossa própria comida e só precisamos ir à cidade 1x. O local condiz com as imagens disponibilizadas. O anfitrião foi bastante simpático, flexível e atencioso.

I had a really great stay in this place. The house is even nicer that the pictures show. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. The house is gorgeous and the surroundings are wonderful. A place where you find your peace and quiet.

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

Leur gentillesse, leur envie de partager … Nous avons adoré ce studio (assez grand quand même) perché sur les hauteurs avec une vue MAGNIFIQUE La confiture de Cécilia, et leur porto un délice Je le recommande fortement pour un séjour au calme et profiter de la région et ses paysages comme il se doit !

Espaço lindo, limpo, calmo e sossegado. Desde a casa, ao jardim, à piscina e à vista desafogada magnífica, tudo maravilhoso. Recomendo a 500%. Ideal para férias em família, com paz e sossego. Espetacular.

Gostámos muito. As fotos correspondem à realidade. A Alexandra respondeu prontamente a todas as solicitações. Uma bela zona de campo tranquila, perto de praia fluvial. A casa da Oliveira é impecável, reflete bom gosto, limpeza, a cama bem feita. Iremos voltar com certeza.

Já é o segundo ano que visitamos este lugar. Há algo mágico nele e sobretudo para quem trabalha na cidade, é o lugar perfeito para poder desligar. Dá-nos saúde e faz sonhar. Destaco mais uma vez a piscina e a vista. Acordar com vista para o vale é sensacional. A casa tem todas as comodidades e está muito bem equipada. O espaço é limpo e muito acolhedor. Espero voltar para o ano.

Marta und Ulysses haben ein wunderbares Kleinod geschaffen. Der Ausblick und die Umgebung sind grandios. Herrlicher Pool ganz für uns allein. Die Kommunikation und das Kümmern waren vorbildlich und sehr nett. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, es fehlte an nichts. Wir haben unsere Woche in Unhais da Serra sehr genossen. Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania
