We've just arrived home from celebrating our 40th in Lisbon. We had the BEST time there and this beautiful apartment was absolutely perfect in every way! Very comfortable, clean, quiet and stylish. We absolutely loved the balcony! It was great to sit out there after exploring Lisbon for a few hours before we headed out for the evening. And the views from the balcony were spectacular! Location was excellent too. Within walking distance of all the great places of central Lisbon. Not too busy but not too quiet either. Maria was an excellent host! Great communication throughout the whole process, from answering questions before booking to how to access the apartment on arrival and offering suggestions of places to visit if we needed them. The best B&B I've stayed in on this trip to Europe!The room is even more perfect than it looks in the photos. It is indeed a sunny room with beautiful scenery. Moreover, the landlord cleaned it very well. Even the shower head is clean and free of water stains. Every place is very clean. The room layout is also very cozy. It really feels like home.The curtains are also very opaque, and you can pull the curtains in the bedroom and bathroom so that it does not affect your sleep in the morning.Downstairs is the lively neighborhood of Belém, with many small restaurants, small supermarkets, and we don't feel unsafe when it's dark at night.There are also fast food restaurants like McDonald's and Burger King nearby, as well as a century-old shop for Portuguese egg tarts.

The property is exactly as described and the host is extremely responsive and helpful. The beach is amazing and it makes a great place to stay while still being able to easily take an Uber back to Lisbon.

We loved our stay at Ricardo's home and the overall experience. He was always responsive and gave clear instructions for checking in and getting to the home via different transport methods. The home itself is perfect for couples or small families, and especially well thought-out for children. The panda in the crib was a lovely touch that our son loved! Belem is a great area to stay in, too. Lots of lovely parks, beautiful buildings and places to explore.

It took us about 15min to lug our luggages from Sintra station via an uphill road. This is also the trail to the Moorish castle, so you will get a head start to the castle staying here. The view from the bedroom is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped. The place is clean. Rita is very responsive to our message. She is a great host!

The house is big, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and kitchen very big. The younger guests enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the spacious house. Parking was easy. The property is very accessible from the highway and is relatively close to Lisbon. We really enjoyed our time, we recommend this airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing place close to Lisbon perfect for a large family or group.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

No detail was overlooked at Xana & David’s home. Everything was PERFECT. I truly cannot put into words how amazing our time was. From the beautiful home to the perfect location (close to restaurants, super markets, beaches and the city), our stay was incredible. I wish I could give more than 5 stars- the best home with the most incredible hosts!!!

We spent a week at Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and with heated pool, new foosball, yoga mats, the ping pong table and the barbecue there is plenty to do even without excursions. But given the beautiful, quiet nature (occasionally the dog barking a little annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a pity to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (until the small shop in the village that offers Essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

Had a wonderful vacation at Rose’s place! Enjoyed the pool and location. Rose responded immediately when we had questions. I would visit again if I ever am ever back in Lisbon.

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

It's a scary location to go around a little alone at night, but overall, it's a great place to stay.

Great location, easily walkable to all the main attractions & sightseeing. Very clean. The kitchen has all the equipment to prepare breakfast or dinner. The bed is comfortable. I would definitely recommend the apartment for a cost stay in Lisboa.

The space was great and worked for two adults and a toddler. We had a few luggage’s and a stroller to carry to the top floor which was a work out but we knew what we were getting ourselves into because Hanna is mentioned it in her details. This area was perfect for what we needed.

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
