Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tortola

We had a perfect week staying at Smuggler's Cove and visiting the BVI. This house was a perfect jumping off point for all our adventures. The house and views were beautiful, the property managers greeted us at arrival and were completely welcoming to the Island. We had 8 total in our party and the house was easily large enough for everyone. Out of all the places we have stayed travelling, this house is at the top due to the quality, beauty, and attention to detail in the design! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Villa Odyssea. Wonderful location, peaceful, breathtaking views. Kesha was very responsive to questions and provided support and recommendations for activities and restaurants. For anyone looking for a great place to stay in Tortola, villa Odyssea is the place. We stayed in the one bedroom villa. There is also a 2 bedroom villas that can also be rented for larger group. The villa is minutes away from the beach. Thank you Kesha for making our stay memorable!

We stayed 4 nights and hope to return another time. The views are absolutely amazing of St. John and Norman Island. The house is huge. The kitchen and indoor living area are in one wing of the house and the 3 bedrooms are in another wing of the house, with the pool in the center connecting the two wings. Each guest room is large with a view. Bathrooms are large with plenty of counter space and high quality towels. The rooms have large closets or armoires for storage. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, toaster, coffee makers, microwave, dishwasher, outdoor grill, cutting boards and much more. There are plenty of beach towels, 3 beach chairs, a cooler, plus nice portable speaker for use. A few notes - there is a stray cat that you have feed every night. No shampoo or soap for the shower, which is typical in European AirBnBs. Would not recommend for small children due to pool openness and steep drop offs.

Where to begin.. this place blew us away. From the moment we arrived - getting a personal tour. Then the view from the deck just kept us breathless. It’s private - it’s beautiful. Once we started noticing even the small things. Peter has thought of everything. This place has everything you need and more. Tortola is beautiful but most days we found ourselves back here saying “there wasn’t a view as gorgeous as this.” I wouldn’t rate this place amazing I would rate it EXCEPTIONAL !! This is by far the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed at and the amenities do not hold a handle to anything else we have ever stayed at. The highest of ratings for lizards lounge !! Hands down the best place on Tortola !!

Shira’s home was a great stay. Easy to get to and I had worried about the steps. Yes there are many but they have a low rise each only about 5 inches. Very convenient, great view, safe and quiet. Glad I picked her place. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect location for a very peaceful and restful stay on Tortola. The host was really good at communicating both before and throughout our stay. One minor issue with the bathroom basin plug was resolved straight away. The garden area, pool and small beach were all delightful, though loungers could do with an upgrade (a very minor matter). Fall asleep and wake to the sound of the sea and if you’re really lucky watch a pelican fishing right in front of you. We saw it most mornings and late afternoons during our stay. Probably best to have a hire car available though taxis easy to organise. We also used the local bus service, which was ‘an experience’, one I’m glad we had. Would we go back? It’s a very long way from Europe! But we both really enjoyed our stay and, though not as young as we used to be, would love to come again. We had some important communications to make during our stay and excellent WiFi enabled us to do it. Thanks Justin and all the staff.

This space was perfect for us. Lovely view, close to walkable restaurants, close to west end ferry and lots around there to see. Val was amazing!! He helped us in every way possible and we would definitely go call here. We divided our stay and went to the east end for 4 days but wished we would have stayed at this place the whole trip. There are upstairs guests but we could not hear a thing. Beautiful area!!

We really enjoyed our time here, which was a short drive from CRUZ BAY and not difficult to navigate to using Google Maps. This unit was a peaceful and comfortable place to come back to after a day of hiking and snorkeling, and the accommodations were simple but perfectly sufficient for our needs. The very friendly Peter the house cat welcomed us back every day, and we loved hearing the symphony of nature sounds at night on the front porch. The A/C and ceiling fans in the unit kept us cool and sleeping well. We made dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washer/dryer and beach chairs were convenient to have access to. There were a few instances of brief power outages and loss of water pressure in the shower, but travelers to USVI should expect this from time to time as part of life on the island. The important thing is Tina and Joe took care to quickly address anything that came up and it never affected the enjoyment of our stay. We'd love to come back someday.

My 10-year-old daughter and I had a great stay! Tricia and Dave were super kind and communicative, giving lots of helpful suggestions and were there whenever an issue arose. A few things to note: — the space is just below their home, and you can definitely hear them upstairs when they’re home — they provide so many helpful things to make your time there wonderful: beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, Floaties, etc. — the listed address is not correct, so be sure to follow directions listed or maybe ask them privately for the correct address. I had no problems with GPS on the island, and I have Verizon — there’s no AC, but they do a great job of providing fans and ventilated windows — be sure to sleep with all lights off. We left a light on for the comfort of my daughter, the first night, and woke up to a lot of bugs inside. Lesson learned! Overall, a great stay, and we would happily return!

Amanda and her husband were amazing! We requested to book our stay very last-minute due to an issue with our original Airbnb reservation somewhere else and they were beyond accommodating. Amanda responded extremely fast and we showed up to a very cute and clean place to stay. Plus the view was amazing, too! Thanks again!

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb on Tortola! The unit was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly equipped with everything I needed, from a full kitchen to cozy outdoor seating. I left the doors open while I was there to take advantage of the lovely breeze. And while the unit has air conditioning O didn’t turn it on until I went to bed. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and full of local tips that made my trip extra special. Whether you’re looking to relax or adventure, this place is a perfect home base while you’re on Tortola.

we hired a car. the coast road was closed so went over the ridge road in the dark. we would recommend try to use the coast road. the unit has a lovely view and is compact. we found the town nearby good for meals, long bay beach walkable and smugglers cove only a short drive and a beautiful place for an early swim. recommended location.

We had a wonderful stay at Mayling's place! It was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful patio view! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio every day! Home away from home! We would definitely stay there again!

This place was amazing. The balcony is the best place to have breakfast and bring in day with sunrise and your local rooster . We named him Henry. I celebrated my 30th with my closest friends in this unit. It’s close to red hook about two min drive. There’s food , grocery and night life in red hook. But be adventurous rent a car go to tutu mall for the market, rancho Latino for amazing food ,coki beach for Sunday funday and food . Amanda and her team were responsive and Biege even greeted us at the door, supplied recommendations and was extremely helpful when we had questions . A time was had. We’ll be back Worth it! Great condo. Great host. We love Cowpet and being close to Red Hook. Condo was clean and inviting. Sherri was helpful during booking and during our stay. We will be back.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our annual trooical getaway. We're from the mountains of Colorado so we're very active and adventerous. This place was perfect! Close to the Red Hook ferries, some great restaurants, and everything was very driveable. We had a rental car and I'd recommend it for this location. It made life very easy. We enjoyed multiple dinners at home because the windows really do look like that and they're SPOTLESS. Enjoy that patio but definitely light a bug candle. We did everything! Hiking, snorkeling off beaches, snorkeling using boat charters... everything. We love this island and Veronica's little condo was exceptional. We did lose power for 1 night. I would recommend blasting the AC the minute you get back to prepare for having to go a night without it and do not open the windows if it happens. Just ride it out. Blame WAPA. I use a CPAP machine and brought a travel battery. I strongly recommend you do the same and bring battery banks for phones at least.

Stay salty was such a great space. Clean and cozy with a wonderful screened in porch. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well appointed. They provide all the beach necessities which was great when my husbands snorkel broke and we had 2 to choose from at the house. We used the beach chairs and the cooler everyday and the house even had great ice packs. The designated parking right in front is such a plus in St. John. We would rent again. Thanks for a great stay!

amazing location and condo! much more spacious than the photos show and fit me and my three friends perfectly. on site restaurants were amazing and very convenient. private beach was great, we spent a lot of time there! communication with brandon was very easy and we had a wonderful stay. Absolutely would stay again!

Our stay at Jeffery’s place was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for exploring — while you’ll need a car or taxis to get around, everything is just a short drive away, including some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. The home was beautiful with great views, well-stocked, and had so much beach and snorkel gear available — such a nice bonus. Jeffery was an awesome host and made everything super easy from start to finish. We went as a couple and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend

Palmy Daze is a lovely island condo. Upon entering you are met with view of Cruz Bay, once on the deck you are at eye level with a tree bursting full of coconuts and beautiful trees in bloom, so many ! The pool is visible through the foliage from the deck. The interior was immaculate, wood floors and the wooden spiral staircase were polished to an amazing shine. Couch was very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, and beach equipment! Both beds were very comfortable and the linens were of good quality and smelled so good! There are 2 portable air conditioners that we didn't need as the breeze from all the large windows and ceiling fans were great. Huge thanks to Trevor who picked us up with the jeep at the ferry dock and drove us to PD. He was also kind enough to have 6 gallons of water waiting for us in the condo. Both Trevor and Dena answered any questions immediately. I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but it was all very good!
