Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Torquay

We had such a lovely family weekend at Diane’s place. The place was very spacious and easily accommodated, children a dog and 8 adults. It was exactly what we needed. Even in wet weather there was plenty to keep us entertained. Thanks so much Dianne

Amelia’s space was so beautiful and felt very homey. It was spotless and felt very clean and well maintained. Super close to the beach, cafes and hot springs but at the same time felt very quiet, peaceful and private. Amelia and her co host were very responsive and fast to reply to any questions we had before as well as during our stay. Such a gorgeous place to stay for a nice getaway ☺️

We felt right at home and at peace the minute we arrived. Despite miserable weather on our arrival, it didn’t dampen our experience in any way - it was a wonderful place to decompress and just enjoy a slower pace, and our young girls were ecstatic to play upstairs and in the yoga studio. We had a lovely stay at Lisa's place. it's exactly like the photos, very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need is there, and the decor is beautiful. Everything is in natural tones, very relaxing. The rain shower is great. We are in our 70s but it was a pretty easy walk to town with our dogs. The backyard is enclosed and quite big. We were there on a very cool weekend so didn't sit outside but the backyard had a fire pit and outside seating.

Great place! Friendly host. Multiple spaces to hang out. Sunny atrium room. Clean. 5-10 minutes to the beach and restaurants and cafes. Would recommend 😊

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the cosy fireplace in the evenings. The location couldn't be better for lovely walks on the beach with the dogs.

We absolutely loved our short stay at Eve's in Torquay. The house is in such a great location with Whites Beach at the end of the road. It was literally doggy heaven with dogs allowed off lead along the beach and a short walk to The Salty Dog Cafe for our morning coffee. There are so many cafes and restaurants also within walking distance, so perfect for an active and outdoorsy weekend away. Although there was only two of us and our dog, the house is spacious enough for another couple or extended family. It's also cosy, comfortable and well equipped for those who prefer to stay in.

We had a wonderful stay at Cockatoo View! It was a beautiful space and offered a fantastic view!

Lovely place to stay in a prime location. The view was great too, being able to see the beach from the property. Close to all the local shops, and the place was a lot larger than anticipated. Thank you for the incredible stay. Will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Swan Bays View Apartment - Glenys and Geoff were perfect hosts - they think about everything including a real coffee machine, soy milk, generous provisions so you really didn't have to think about a thing. A wonderfully cozy self contained roomy apartment was provided. Glenys also provided lots of tips, advice and information on local history, geography and the best places to eat in the area. The hot tub was an added bonus, perfect in the colder weather and they made sure it was heated prior to our arrival - fantastic! Thanks again for the wonderful stay, we will be back again soon! Our weekend at Roderick's place in Anglesea was amazing. The accommodation was in a perfect spot and it was so easy to locate and check in - walking distance to beach, shops and amazing places to eat. Roderick was very responsive to every need we had and the unit itself was warm and cozy. We could not have asked for more for our weekend stay. We will definitely come back again if the opportunity arises.

We’ve stayed at many places in Torquay and Wambiri is by far the best location with access to the beach, walking tracks and cafes right at your door! Would stay again.

We had a great stay here. The place felt cared for, and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. The furniture and bedding are quality. As it is an apartment you can hear the neighbours pretty clearly, but it was not an issue overnight. I would recommend Melissa's place.

I highly recommend this place for its style, location, and the host's responsiveness. The living area is enormous, beautifully styled, and it feeds to a spacious balcony. Despite it sitting above a cafe it's very peaceful and quiet. The location was perfect.

Great place to stay, good size apartment, really well stocked kitchen utensil wise. Host very communicative and quick to get back. good spot in Lorne, a nice walk in to the main town along the water.

We really enjoyed our couple of nights at Julie's welcoming apartment. The furnishings were all very comfortable and good quality, excellent shower pressure and the view from the balcony was just brilliant. Easily walkable to the waterfront and to restaurants. Julie was also quickly responsive to any questions that we had. It was also lovely having a bottle of wine and some chocolate provided. Thanks Julie! We just wish we'd had more time to stay longer.
