Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tool

John was a great host! Extremely helpful and responsive. House was beautiful and loved the location. The water access was truly amazing. It rained 3 of our 7 days, so that was unfortunate, but we took our kids to Dallas to do some fun things which wasn’t too far of a drive! Only things to note that were annoying was the AC was controlled/set to specific ranges because of past guests altering it beyond acceptable ranges or breaking it. As I understand John’s concern, that was kind of annoying. We asked him to lower the setting and he did, so that helped, but even then…the AC would revert back to the previous setting and it would be too hot in some of the rooms. Some of the kitchen items like extra trash bags I could not locate and the soap that was provided was hand soap, not dish soap. I asked John if he had these items at the house so I could clean up and he ended up having them delivered to the house! Very response and helpful host! Beautiful location and we would stay again!

My group of friends raved about the place. It was very well done, had everything we needed and more. The hosts were incredible and have thought of virtually everything. I definitely want to return this property in the future.

We had a family reunion with 3 families and ALL of us are still talking about how awesome the homes were. First off let me start by say Danelle the property manager made this trip extra special. From the first text 6 months ago she has been so helpful. Recommending Cedar Creek boat rental, the nicest people. Checking in to make sure if we need anything and answering my text in minutes. Thank you Danelle for having a great team around you the homes were so clean, just stocked with all the things you need. I’ve rented many Airbnb this is by far is the best. Home away from home!

Great vacation! The pool is much larger than appears in the photos - our family of 4 enjoyed it very much several times. Right on the lake with lots to do - canoes provided. We had a lovely time and will definitely remember this location for future Gun Barrel City vacations. Highly recommended.

Very well kept home and had everything you would need on your stay. Beau was very responsive and friendly to all our questions. House was right on the water in a very peacefully cove free of all the boat traffic. Kids had a blast on the kayaks and fishing off the dock. We will definitely come back if we get the chance. Highly recommend this place!

The Dream Weaver home is very warm and inviting, light and modern. The beautiful view of the water from the windows. Every room had extra amenities that make it feel like home. We cooked in this modern kitchen it had everything we needed. The extra ice machine was a huge bonus! The talk every morning was how comfortable and cozy the beds are. This is an extraordinary Airbnb, my family is still talking about how nice it was. We loved our early morning coffee and sunset wine on the veranda over the boat dock. The property manager Danelle was the icing on the cake, she answered every question and made sure we had everything we needed. Enjoy this wonderful property!

The owners were so nice to work with and communicated very well. The house was more than advertised as the kitchen was very well stocked. The lake access was just what we needed via the dock and ability to use the boat lift for our boat. The deck over the boat lift provided a great view. The house was very clean. The bedrooms were bigger than we expected. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We had a great time and hope to come back for another visit.

Tamara and Robert have a great cabin in a beautiful wooded area by a lake. They were friendly and attentive but also gave you your privacy and space. The feeling of the cabin and grounds is welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and happy. It had everything that you needed; like a home away from home. Also, if anyone reading this remembers the fun and innocent family vacation days by the lake back in the late 80’s through late 90’s, this place gives you the same vibe. I highly recommend the Mini Metal Moonshine Mansion!

If you’re looking for a nice, quiet, peaceful stay then this is the place. The host was more than accommodating for all of my stay. Anything that needed to be taken care of she got it done and quickly. Everything was clean and nicely organized. Instructions were clear and she even provided a few snacks to get me started. There are gas stations, stores, restaurants and even local parks close to the area. It’s a cozy place with lots of charm. I will absolutely be booking again. Blanca is super friendly and will surely earn the title of super host in the near future.

I’m so glad we went. It was one of our best weekend trips. Needed some peace and quiet. The property was well maintained and they really made us feel at home. Constantly making sure we had all we needed. We got to see their homestead and the beautiful craftsmanship and love that Doug had put into their home. It’s a place that you can go and spend some quality time with God and be near His beautiful country. We really feel like we made some great friends and will definitely return again. We originally went there to go to canton first Monday. Honestly we were only at Canton for around maybe 1 1/2hrs and spent the remainder at Connie and Doug’s place. It was so much fun staying in the studio apartment above the barn, just like in heartland! Thanks again for great conversations and friendship! Go check it out you won’t be disappointed!!

extremely understanding and responsive hosts and a cute and cozy little stay.

I really liked staying at the house for a month. It’s in middle of the woods, more private, there’s patio that you can sit and put up guard to let your dogs hang out in the patio. The shower is wonderful, one of the best shower ever. It’s really small, but it’s doable for one person with a dog or two. It’s a good place to get away. I can live in anywhere and I would stay here again.

I was in Corsicana for some training and Joshua's place was exactly what I was looking for - great value, quiet, relaxing. The duplex is clean and well kept and the location was perfect for getting around town. Joshua was extremely helpful with any needs and questions that I had. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town and highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful location on the lake, communicative host, comfortable condo! I will recommend to family & friends.

We brought our two young children to this condo for a long weekend and it exceeded our expectations. It was super easy to check in and the condo was so welcoming and clean! We felt like we were staying at a friends house instead of a rental the whole time. It was very cozy. We endured a pretty serious storm while we were there and never lost power even though that storm was wicked! The pool was absolutely fabulous. We barely were out of it. The harbor restaurant next-door has some of the best food we’ve ever had. We tried tons of stuff on their menu and it was all so delicious. The beds were comfortable and did I mention how clean it was?! Melissa was wonderful and was only a text away the whole time. The only thing I would make sure of is the elevators working. They were semi functional during our stay and we made do, but it was difficult. It would be hard if not impossible for elderly people or some others to physically get by without the elevators. Absolutely will be back!
