Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tōkai Region

This location was the highlight of the holiday, we travelled all across Japan from Sendai to Nagasaki, but not a single place could compare to this. The accommodation, top tier premium The views, incomparable to anything else The host stole the show, not only were they attentive to our needs they were flexible! Not only that, due to us lacking our own car, and the nearest restaurant convenience store being a 30 minute walk away (1 hour round trip) They offered to hand deliver a menu and to us and then collect our order for us, it was above and beyond the service of even a 5 star hotel at a fraction of the price. I cannot recommend this place enough and I even go as far as making sure my friends incorporate a stay here into their trips. it's the ultimate location to relax, reset and unwind if you've been travelling Japan or moving through the golden route of bustling cities. I plan to return every time I visit Japan just for the sheer quality! Thank you so much!

We had a truly memorable trip at an inn with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji!! The place was thoroughly cleaned and we had a pleasant time. There was a supermarket just a short walk away, and we had everything we could buy. The TV is also large and the sound source of the speakers is very good, so we enjoyed the powerful footage on the big screen. I gave up the barbecue because of the rain, but on a sunny day, the environment was in place to have the best time outside. It was a really great place to stay.I would like to stay there again. Thank you so much for renting your truly lovely home.I can't thank you enough.

There were many bedrooms and a large hot spring, making it a comfortable place to stay for three generations.I went to Nagashi Masparand, so the location was also great!

Kotomi’s place was such a gem in the sleepytown of Yaizu. It was perfect for our family and was the most relaxing stay!

The house is lovely and expansive, flowing nicely from entry through to the onsen (our favorite part). It’s furnished very nicely and feels very warm due to all the wood construction elements. The house has everything you might need, with a fully stocked kitchen, all the small toiletries you may have forgotten, to a nice to have like a Dyson for tiding up + a washer. We’re really glad we rented a car, which allowed us to see many landmarks and hikes on the Izu peninsula. A note for couples: both bedrooms have two beds which we overlooked. It wasn’t a problem, but worth knowing. The onsen is primarily accessible through the main shower, so if you’re coming as a group and intend to have access to the shower room while some soak be aware of that. Maybe one day we’ll come back to Shimoda, and if we do we’ll definitely see if this lovely house is available again!

Fransico is a very friendly host and guided us through during the check-in process. The house is located at a quiet place in the middle between Karuizawa and Kusatsu. The house is well furnished and clean and equipped with all necessary tools for a barbecue. We had a memorable barbecue night there.

one of the best airbnbs i’ve ever stayed at. Extremely clean, smelled amazing, and fully stocked bathroom. I highly recommend this spot. Also an amazing view of fuji-san.

We had a very pleasant stay in this house in Takayama, ideally located, which made our travels easier. The accommodation was simple, perfect for discovering the area. Our hosts were very attentive and accommodating, always ready to help us and make our stay easy and pleasant. An excellent place for a convenient and carefree stay in Takayama!

The apartment itself looks better than in the photos. Well maintained. Just note that the water pressure in the bathroom is not so sufficient.

Beautiful and cost stay! I was worried about the river sound first but it didn’t bother us at all. We also enjoyed the projector to watch some videos. The host is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for having us!

The accommodation is located really close to Hisaya Odori Station Exit 5A, and the subway underground shopping mall (Central Park) and surrounding infrastructure and facilities are well equipped, so you can have fun even near the accommodation! The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, and I was really satisfied with the communication and response with the host! If you come to Nagoya, I definitely recommend this place!✨

This accomodation was great. I only travelled alone however this could easily fit so so many more. It was a very large space which is rare for Japanese accomodations. The place was clean and tidy with plenty of amenities for you to utilise. If possible, renting a car would be an ideal decision if choosing to stay here as there isn't a train network, bus stops are more rigid/less frequent and cycling occasionally got tiring with hills. Having a car would also be very helpful for reaching Shimizu or Shizuoka station. Masaki, the host, was super friendly! I was fortunate to meet him and was able to converse in English pretty well. He checked up on me and replied very quickly. It was really reassuring to have him as a host!

The apartment is exactly as it is in the photos, it is spacious, being much larger than most of the accommodations we stayed in during our stay in Japan. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. Our stay was very pleasant and we will definitely recommend it for a stay in Osaka. Thank you!

The apartment was as described and the location was off from the main road so it was very quiet and also a very nice location. Mr. Mizoguchi and his wife were so nice and kind to us. I would definitely recommend the stay!

Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Host was flexible with my check in time as I wasn’t sure what time I arrived til I got on the train. As it was raining on the day I left, host was kind enough to offer to drive me to train station as well as work out the train timetable for me. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience.

Beautiful and spacious place with walkable distance to great restaurants and shops! Lots to do especially at night! My family and I had an amazing short stay! Definitely would recommend!!

We had a very great time at Yuko-San’s property. It right next to Kuromon market which has awesome food and a Family Mart convenience store was a few steps away. Super convenient. Host was super responsive and we had zero issues and a great time. I can highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in went smooth and the staff was very kind. The room was large & we had enough space for 2 big & one small luggage. We had very good wifi and air conditioning. The bed was very big and comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen with the fridge, to have breakfast in the hotel. The room was very clean and the bathroom was ver spacious. We really liked the daily cleaning & the towel exchange. The location was easy to find and well located with a metro station & supermarket nearby. We would recommend this place & come back ourselves!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Kamakura. Toshi is truly the perfect host. Even before we arrived, we were provided with plenty of useful information, also with many tips about the area, rarely we have experienced such a great service. And the apartment itself was also just great and very well located. There was nothing missing, you had a great view, the bed was very comfortable. We will be happy to come back! :)
