Tiny Away homes in Burkes Pass was the cosiest retreat, remote enough to embrace peace and tranquility but handy enough to explore neighbouring townships and all that they have to offer. Had a wonderful stay - quiet, surrounded by nature, everything we needed for a clean, comfortable night out in peace. My only criticism is that there was no fire place to keep you warm outside whilst stargazing... the stars were incredible 😍

Great peaceful rural location! Fantastic to see an old school classroom being utilised as accommodation. We really enjoyed the fire and bedrooms were warm with electric blankets and heaters. Bathroom had a lovely hot shower. We took our bikes and enjoyed biking around the rural roads. The Methven hot pools and Mayfield Panther pub are both worthy of visiting by car. Ideal for young families and we are keen to visit again in summer to try out the school pool! Thanks Deborah for your prompt clear communication.

Travelling with 2 trailers and dogs meant this was a great place to stay. Lots of room in the huge back yard well away from the main area of town so we felt the motorbikes on the back of one trailer were going to be secure. We loved the fire- easy to use. Comfortable bed. Good communication with owners made this stay easy.

Steve's place is very spacious, clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood. The only problem, which has been mentioned before, and which I hope Steve can fix, is the very low hot water pressure. The shower mixer is very difficult to adjust to get the temperature right - the water coming out is either very little and far too hot or more plentiful and cold. But we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Steve.

Lovely spot with everything you need. Perfect location near supermarket & not far to town. House was warm & inviting. Hosts were friendly, helpful & went the extra when we needed to get in earlier. So grateful. We would absolutely stay here again. Spa was such a treat too!

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

This was my second stay at Harriet’s cottage, it’s a great spot to stop. As always I appreciate being able to bring my dog along too. Thanks again!

What a great older style place! Very central and lovingly maintained. You can tell the host’s care that your stay is extra special. From the amazing home made granola… to the Easter cookie left on arrival- so thoughtful.. Beautiful apartment! Blown away by decor. So fun and colorful! x☺️ Beds super comfy, kitchenette had everything you needed for snacks and small meals. Highly recommend. 🤩

We loved our stay at Rachel’s, it was the perfect re-set during our South Island roadtrip. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. The place was cozy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend!

Great location to stay at when travelling between Christchurch and Queenstown - the unit was spacious and very well maintained and host was very responsive, will definitely stay again!

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

Great place to stay! Very comfortable and clean. Peaceful surroundings and comfortable bed made it the perfect place to relax. Highly recommend! Loved the complimentary coffee and hot cocoa too :)

Perfect spot for a short and very last minute getaway trip! Super private spot under the stars. So relaxing and we felt spoilt with the breakfast provided. Lovely property too, very modern & chic. Definitely one of the most comfiest/luxe beds! Had everything we needed there and more. Will be our go to for future stays! Thank you 😊
