Holiday rentals with a patio in Timaru District

We had a great night's stay. very clean & comfortable studio unit. The property is rural but easy to find on GPS and not far from SH1. Gerard & Trish have created a wonderful garden, including native bush, which Gerard showed us around. Nice continental breakfast was also provided, with some of their own produce. Even a couple of Easter eggs as we were there Easter Sunday. Highly recommend.

A lovely, peaceful little stay! Perfect little home away from home while we were traveling. The owner was kind enough to let our dog have a run in the paddock which was wonderful. And the owner's two dogs, Blue and Rocket were absolute sweeties. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through!

We had a perfect night away, the apartment is perfect in every way. Warm, cosy and we felt at home. Really beautifully decorated and everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay, I’m sure we will be back.

It is convenient near city, having off street car park. The room and bathroom is quite clean

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

Ethan's place was fabulous. It was home away from home. Extremely comfortable and cosy. Lovely and warm, very comfortable beds. Lots of treats for us as well - a bowl of fruit and some delicious shortbread on arrival. Ethan is a great communicator as well. Highly recommend.

This house is just a 27-minute drive outside of Tekapo. We were initially looking into staying at Tekapo but didn’t manage to find “the one” so we explored the towns just outside and found this beautiful place. This house is in the perfect location! This house was well thought of all the floor to ceiling windows just makes you enjoy the view. It snowed on the first night and it felt like we were inside a snow globe - magical! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had all we needed and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely worth the drive and worth every penny. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! ❤️

Great place for a weekend thanks

We loved our stay at the Gingerbread Cottage! A charming, traditional cottage full of character and so cosy! Great location, easy walk to town and Talbot Forest and river access on the doorstep. Ben's a fantastic host, he really went the extra mile for us - even putting up a Christmas tree for us! Will definitely stay again! Thank you Ben for making our stay so memorable and special.

The views are even better in person—pictures don’t do it justice! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. From peaceful mornings with a hot drink by the window to stargazing at night, every moment felt magical. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with world-class views. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again

We loved our stay at Kakahu lodge. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here, this time it was a work retreat. We made use of the pool, outdoor dining and pizza oven, kitchen with everything you can think of (two dishwashers was so handy), and the open fireplace. Large spaces were perfect for a group and the linen and beds were comfy and high quality. Richard is so helpful and lovely too even ensuring we had plenty of kindling for the pizza oven 😊
