The house was clean and offered beautiful scenery. The grill was located near the river, allowing you to enjoy cooking, dining, and taking in the view all at once. Due to the weather, the firewood was wet; it would be better if it were covered to ensure the fire pit remains usable after rain. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely be happy to revisit.

This house is very well located for enjoying Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, & Front Royal, VA. The northern most park entrance is a very short drive, & the town of Front Royal is also a short drive. The house was very comfortable for my family of eight adults and one grandchild plus dog. We convened there for a week for a family get together. You won’t be bored. Solomon has provided everything you could possibly want to have fun and relax, from the very nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit with chairs and the makings of s’mores, hammock, and corn hole game, to the downstairs game room with pool table, the extensive library, fireplaces and nice back porch with grill, table, chairs, & porch swing, etc.! The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs bedroom is also very nice, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are much smaller and share a bathroom although there is a half bath off the kitchen. It worked for us. We hated to see the week end! Would come back.

fantastic mountain getaway. at first we were bummed the weather was going to keep us inside but this Airbnb made it such an enjoyable and relaxing vacation nonetheless. beds were very comfortable, space was beautiful, and such a bonus that they provided the firewood for evening fires. will absolutely be coming back to see this space intiple seasons.

Beautiful place me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday we had the best time! Brandi had the space nice and clean when we got there. She is has excellent response time and is very friendly. The cabin itself was amazing the view was incredible! being able to go out and kayak was amazing. The perfect get away for you and your partner! we will definitely be back!

I booked the cabin for a few days after having a sudden loss of my husbands dad. This place was prefect to recharge and unwind from our lives. We did do a couples massage and let me tell you amazing. The hot tub and fire pit where are favorite as well as playing a few games of pool. I kept catching my husband playing pac man he loved it. We will for sure be back.

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. My family of 5 (including our pug Billy) had a wonderful stay at Applemoon Cabin. It is such a cute & cozy place. Everything was very clean. We loved the screened in porch, the loft and the fire pit outside. The stream next to the fire pit was peaceful and made for relaxing evenings sitting outside. We drove downtown to Harper’s Ferry and did some exploring and site seeing - the drive was only about 20 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. I recommend this cabin to those who are going to visit Harper’s Ferry area. Thank you for hosting us Ashley & Jason!

we loved it. the lake is nice, good fishing, fun to swim at. grill was provided at house etc. my only drawback to be advised of is you cant have a campfire which would have been nice. not at Sandra's fault but their neighborhood doesn't allow it. place is very secluded and nice

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house offered so many things for us to do as a family. We had such a good time playing darts, pingpong, board games, and hanging out around the fire pit. The Woods is our favorite place to go because of all the amenities. Highly recommend!

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

We loved our 1 night stay! The lake was gorgeous, the lodge was cozy, and the bed was comfy. We played cards in front of the fireplace in the evening time, beautiful fireplace! Got pizza at Tony’s and brought it back for dinner. We can also recommend the Thai restaurant called “Little Peppers” that’s in town. We caught 30 fish in 2.5 hours with a rooster tail lure. Bass, bluegill, and crappie. Biggest one we caught was over a 12” long. Fished between 4:30-6:30pm and then the following morning between 8:30-9:30am. Fish were biting like crazy at all times! We fished from the dock and also from different spots on shore as we walked to all the accessible spots of the lake. Outside showers were awesome! Other wildlife we spotted were: 15 Canadian Geese hanging out on the pond, 3 heron (2 blue/1 white), 2 deer, and a groundhog! The deck, outside seating, and planted foliage and flowers were so beautiful. The view is incredible. The host is super sweet and so helpful ❤️

We a wonderful place! We wanted to quiet retreat and it fit the bill. Nestled in the forest, all you see and hear is natural. Yet the house had all the things so you had a quiet spot with all the modern features. We completely relaxed, cooked delicious food, went to a brewery and celebrated our anniversary in tranquility. Here are a couple of notes: Bring your stocks of groceries with you. There is Wegman’s closer to town but once you are there, you won’t want to pop down to get to the store. You really need a 4 wheel drive to get to the house because it is really off the beaten path. But it is totally worth it! It could be hard to fine but you are given step by step directions which are spot on. Bring a throw blanket if you use one home. They have a wonderful bed with a super comfy comforter! But if you like to read under a throw, no biggie just bring one! Tori is a great host! Very responsive! We simply loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

This was absolutely the most amazing place and was perfect for a weekend get away with my partner. We were worried we would make it late due to traffic, but the host was very communicative and patient and ready for us when we got there. Luckily we made it 15 minutes before closing but they had said we weren’t last. One of the sweetest things was that they left the door open and the lights on for us! This small gesture was so excellent to me. We had a warm greeting by Mrs. Debby and we felt so welcomed and right at home. Also, the check in area has a little store that has everything you could possibly need for our little cabin trip. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Everything was clean, well organized, and I will definitely be staying here again one day!

I surprised my husband with this trip with our son, nephews and brother in law for a birthday guys weekend. They were so happy with everything! My husband said it was the best weekend! Such a beautiful place! They didn’t have one complaint. Loved the set up and fishing and scenery! I’m so thankful they got this experience! My husband definitely wants to go back!

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.

Very nice place to stay. The surrounding area was beautiful. The cabin was clean and welcoming. The host was very nice and helpful. She helped me with a list of things to do in the area. It is close to Catoctin Mountatin and Cunningham Falls. Strongly recommend staying here if you are going to be in Thurmont.

Everything was amazing! House exceeded expectations, private, quiet, peaceful, a wonderful week of relaxation in the hot tub and screened porch. We would definitely rent again.
