Daniela is the groundskeeper for Franz and she is a wonderful host. It's a beautiful house/castle with lots of room. the master bedroom is upstairs with a bathroom across the hallway. there are two rooms downstairs with a bathroom in between. Internet is sufficient for one person to do zoom video calls. WiFi signal in the bedrooms downstairs are a bit weak. But then whose working when you have such beautiful backyard (acres) to explore. Daniela and her daughter gave us the best tour of the castle. highly recommend this experience.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the castle. It was fun to learn a little bit about the history of the place and know that we were staying in a historic place. I'm very grateful that Viktoria and her husband have opened their home up for guests to stay at. They were both very kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here.

Villa Meier FeWo Parkblick

A break near nature brings distance to everyday stress. Villa Meier is located directly on the karst hiking trail. It leads in close proximity to the Röseteich, one of the about 50 "monastery ponds". The more than one hectare property is adjacent to a nature reserve and is therefore located in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the center of Walkenried is within walking distance. The 117 sqm apartment is located on the 1st floor. When staying at the FeWo Parkblick experience a journey back in time and inspiration.

Falkennest - a place for you and me

A short vacation as we expected. A historic building with everything that goes with it. Plank floors, stucco ceilings, just as it used to be. Nothing embellished or perfect as in a new building. We felt very comfortable again and enjoyed it. Two more flat plates would be great. Unsleben moated castle is always worth a visit.

Viktoria offers a great accommodation in a castle, everything was exactly as described and she was truly helpful and communicative! We really enjoyed the weekend in such a beautiful, cozy and relaxing place. Definitely recommend it!

What a place!! Wonderful apartment steeped in history. Super clean comfy and well equipped. Arnoud was so friendly and helpful. Nice pool and bar snacks etc too. So pleased to find this place.
