Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Thuringia

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

We were two with our dog for a week in the accommodation of Beatrix and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats were not to be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

We had three nights with a group of 10 and all participants were able to spend a relaxed time well accommodated. The view and the beautiful garden with child-friendly equipment were wonderful.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

My husband , me and our 2 little dogs had a great stay at the place. On foot or by car, the accommodation is centrally located. The key handover was hassle-free and the apartment has everything you need. The apartment was very clean, which was really important to us and it was lovingly furnished. We felt right at home. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We had a lovely weekend there. The accommodation looks like the photos, is clean and beautifully located, surrounded by fields. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Communication with the host was great, always received a quick response. The only thing we didn't like so much was that we weren't very flexible with the checkout, because it was a personal checkout and the lady had to drive up to it and there was a time window. The woman was also very nice!

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was really everything you need – fully equipped, clean and furnished with attention to detail. The atmosphere was very cozy, so we immediately felt comfortable. Very nice communication with the hosts. It should be noted that the shared pool is an indoor pool. However, there is an outdoor swimming pool in Ronshausen. The Breitenbach bathing lake is not necessarily recommended. The wonderful tranquility is particularly noteworthy - perfect for relaxing and switching off from everyday life. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful, clean accommodation. Definitely keeps everything it promises. Even the campsite between the lake and the accommodation did not bother us at all - everyone was very friendly and quiet.

Great apartment, ideal for a short getaway, out of the city. The area offers many possibilities, e.g. animal parks, playgrounds (20 min. drive), attractions in Leipzig. Michael is a nice host, we'd love to come back. We gratefully accepted and enjoyed the fresh eggs and rolls. Thank you. We felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean, there were toys for the little guests, fresh flowers and overall the apartment was great.

Very relaxed place to switch off and fire.

Everything you need to spend a few nice days in the Thuringian Forest. The accommodation is a self-contained apartment in a larger detached house, but you don't get too much from the neighbors. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was really sparkling clean. The contact with Jörg was friendly and uncomplicated. There's nothing to complain about. A good starting point for local hikes.

The weekend at Michael's was absolutely wonderful! A really charming accommodation and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet! We really enjoyed the days. Michael was super committed and accommodating and fulfilled every wish! His wife Anja is also extremely likeable and you immediately feel at home! We would come back. Many thanks for everything

We had a fantastically beautiful stay in Benno, the car! My wife and I enjoyed every minute - the loving decor, the quiet location right on the edge of the forest and the view of the countryside immediately provided relaxation. Everything was super clean and designed with a lot of heart. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night - next time we will definitely stay longer! Our stay was super nice, the chalet met our expectations and partly exceeded them. The quiet location and the great view from the balcony are particularly beautiful. What you should definitely know as a parent of small children is that there is no real blackout and the house is extremely noisy. For a short vacation, however, you can make do with it and there is no deduction for it, as it may be less important for others🌞☺️.
