Beach house holiday rentals in Thrumster

We are a family of four with kids aged 4 and 8. This accommodation was perfect for us. There were two bathrooms so we didn’t have to share with our kids! There were ceiling fans and air con on the top bedroom which was essential for good sleep in the summer heat. We were walking distance to the coastal path and our nearest easy access beach was Flynn’s Beach which is great for the kids and has a good Cafe. The unit has off road parking and all amenities. I was pleased there was an air fryer available - first place I’ve been to that has had that. There were also four beautiful Tawny Frogmouth Birds that came and went from the backyard which was really special. We also visited the Billabong Zoo, Wildnets and a Maze as well as exploring the local coastline. Great stay!

We had such a lovely time at Moonie’s! The accommodation was perfect in every way. As soon as you walk in, you feel immediately calm and at peace. The creek is absolutely stunning, full of wildlife and the kayak was so fun for the kids. Two days were not enough! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even cooking us two delicious curries. They couldn’t have been more wonderful and accomodating. We will be back!

One of the best locations of a BnB that I have ever stayed at. Helen's place was super comfortable and her communication was prompt and friendly. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I would love to come back in the summer time to take advantage of this beautiful waterfront location, but even in the winter, this stay was great! I have no hesitation in recemmending this place, we loved it!

We had a wonderful mini-holiday at Piccola Positano, despite the weather not being great. We found Tom and Liz's place even nicer than in the photos, which is rare, and absolutely loved listening to the sound of the ocean from the front porch. So relaxing! The place was clean and tidy, the beds were really comfy, the pool was huge and the garden was lovely. Sunset there was beautiful. The beach is just a very short stroll down the front yard but if you don't want to have to go through the prickly grass, you can drive there in about 30 seconds (or walk along the street and be there in a few minutes). The cafe Tom and Liz recommended was delicious, and again just a short drive or walk away. The local pub also served good food. Taree and Forster are about a 30 minute drive. We highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay, amazing views of lighthouse beach and all the amenities you could need. The kids loved all the toys and games plus the pool! If we head back to Port Mac we would love to stay here again!

This house was truly awesome! We stayed for a work trip and it was the most peaceful place to come back to after our long work days. Wish we could have stayed to enjoy it more! The views surrounding the property are unlike most I’ve ever seen. If you’re into cooking, the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen!! Thanks so much Skye, we’d love to stay again!

Great house, we stayed here with another couple and a few young kids between us. It had everything we needed

2nd visit to Adrian’s Manor. Love love love everything about the place. Only criticism, had to leave and go home, never long enough. Adrian great host, answers promptly, nothing seems to be an effort

Close to beach and short drive to town. Private pool area looked lovely and clean. Check in process easy

We had m a wonderful long weekend staying at this beautiful property. It was the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and spend quality device-free time with family and friends. The house was spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. We went for walks, played board games, got creative with some crafts, and the kids absolutely loved the huge trampoline – it kept them entertained for hours! Georgia was amazing to deal with – communication was excellent from start to finish, all instructions were super clear. She went above and beyond to make our stay great, even dropping off new bath plugs when we needed them. Thank you for sharing such a lovely space with us. We made some really special memories xx

This is such a beautiful house full of beautiful things but also lovely features - high ceilings, wide verandahs, large rooms, lots of natural light. It rained heavily the entire time we were there so we weren't able to take full advantage of the wonderful outdoor space. What a fabulous family space and kids space. Very comfortable beds,pillows, linen and lounge. The kitchen is superb 😀

Wonderful accommodation - very tidy for small family! Ocean views and close to Ironman/70.3 bike course. Quiet street.

We loved our little getaway to Adam’s place in Flynn’s beach. The house was move than we could have expected - beautiful, spacious, tasteful, clean, and just stunning! When we weren’t at the beach (which is just walking distance away) we spent most of our time just enjoying the space. Highly recommend for your Port Mac retreat!! Thanks Adam

Our family had a wonderful time at Andrew’s charming cottage , it actually looked even better than the photos. From the moment we arrived, the kids were thrilled, running around to explore the house and the lovely garden. The cottage was spotless, beautifully cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The location was also perfect, it’s so convenient to everything. We genuinely enjoyed moment of our stay.

A fabulous home in a beautiful location! Claudia was a wonderful host and offered early check in and late check out which was really appreciated as we were moving to a new house in the area and staying in this Airbnb home for a short break whilst waiting for our furniture to arrive. Diamond Daze caters wonderfully with a well appointed kitchen, spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms as well as a fully fenced yard that our dogs loved. The home fronts onto Diamond beach and access is via a side gate and short walk to a beautiful beach that is dog friendly - super convenient! You feel immediately on holidays when you walk through the home and see the view from the verandah! Highly recommend.

A true home away from home! Super clean house with all the holiday house essentials including beach towels! We made use of the outdoor deck each afternoon while our dog Maxi enjoyed the secure backyard. Wonderful location and we will be back!

Great holiday spot. Close proximity to the local beach and cafe, not much passing traffic, quiet neighbourhood. Very clean, perfect size for a small family, the only downside is the lack of aircon so you need to factor it once planning summer break. Great communication, super proactive and helpful with sending sms reminders. Highly recommend.
