The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards mountain range Fljótshlíð and Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting South Iceland, it is located nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches and volcanoes. The Gilitrutt apartment

Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.
