Absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage its self was gorgeous and the space inside was a really great lay out and very spacious! The cottage had everything we needed as-well as the little extras that were complimentary, and overall Sheila has been a great host and I would recommend this place, we had an amazing stay here! Firstly wow! The area in which this little cottage is set is beautiful, tranquil and private and has an enclosed garden for mine and my sister’s dogs. The welcome hamper was the best we’ve ever had with so many goodies in! Lots of local dog walks around the area and hotel grounds and we even found a waterfall after a heavy rainfall which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was clean and all beds made up, towels were provided too. Log fire and wood fired pizza oven and hot tub were so welcome on a foggy day when we were unable to travel. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but not a real problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Only negative was only 2 windows open. We loved the fact we were surrounded by nature and birdsong and would have loved to have the windows open to make the most of this. Wouldn’t put us off going again as there are so many other areas we didn’t get to explore around there.

Pear tree cottage was a completely stress free holiday. From the guided tour at the start of our holiday to the convenience of the hot tub whenever we liked. The other cottages were occupied but we didn’t see or hear any of our neighbours. Parking was ample two cars easy and the other driveways looked just as big. The kitchen is well equipped as were the two bathrooms. The sunrises we experienced were exceptional, looking out of either the double doors in the lounge or the double doors in the master bedroom. The highlight was the hot tub. Spacious, convenient, well lit and powerful. Again we were lucky to have two completely cloudless nights, star gazing like never before. The beds were a little hard but actually gave a great nights sleep. We shall definitely look to book again!

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

We had a lovely long weekend stay. Everything was as we expected and how it looked in the pictures. The views were amazing, so was the hot tub and the goat farm was a nice touch. Charlie was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions we had. We’d definitely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It really is beautiful. Quaint, spacious, clean and tidy. Plenty of facilities such as vac, mop, washing machine, dryer, cleaning products etc. Kitchen is a lovely space to all sit together. Bedrooms were very spacious and room for clothes etc. Lovely nights sleep in comfortable beds. Central heating worked a treat with log fire in the room (we didn’t need to use) including other heaters. It is lovely and warm and cosy. The views and surrounding areas are lovely. We used the hot tub which was a lovely addition and worked well been outside the conservatory part. We were a family group of mixed ages and we would absolutely stay here again. Host was great with contact prior to arrival with flexible check in/out. Overall a brilliant stay and we’ve also said we would return.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip. The house was exactly as described, fully equipped, very friendly neighbours and loved the hot tub. Found some nice walks from the house and easy driving to the many delightful beaches and towns in the area. The local pub is a 10 minute walk with friendly staff, lovely beer garden and pub classics type menu. Would highly recommend this little gem. Thanks Dawn 😁

We had a wonderful week at David and Philip's place, with our one and three-year-old children. The cottage was idyllic and the garden at the front of the property felt like stepping into our own little world. Our eldest was sure he saw fairies amongst the flowers and both kids loved playing in the safe, enclosed space. We had also asked for use of the BBQ which was ready and waiting for us and made for a lovely afternoon enjoying the space and relaxing. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs and the moveable stair-gate (top or bottom of the stairs) was a huge help for keeping our risk-oblivious explorers safe. There was lots of space for them to play in a cosy setting which felt like a home very quickly. The use of the cot and high-chair (arranged in advance) was also a huge help. The location was perfect, with plenty of indoor and outdoor places to visit (castles, beaches, gardens, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Forests) all a short drive away. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a lovely few days at Helen's place. It was very peaceful with lovely views. Walking the dog in the woods was perfect and the cottage was well thought out for bringing a dog. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. Very handy for Helmsley. Helen was a great host very friendly and helpful. We have already booked another stay and are looking forward to it.

Willow Cottage was outstanding. we cannot fault this accommodation. I highly recommend a stay here, we were not disappointed. The cottage was warm, comfortable, well equipped and stylish. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for your hospitality.

The best 3 night stay at Thresher Cottage. Surroundings are so peaceful, except for some friendly mooing which we loved, but Whitby and Pickering only a short drive away. Really impressed with the size and layout of the cottage, wish we had booked for longer now! Recommended to friends and family already

We had a great stay, it's a good location and the house had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and a lovely big bath. Great kitchen and even a bottle of wine. Would stay again.

Great little cottage in a beautiful village. We knew the place well already. It's a short stroll to a couple of great pubs and restaurants. The place itself was warm, cosy, and quiet. Comfy beds. Would definitely book again.

Steve and Wendy's house is a wonderful place to stay. the The kitchen is stocked full of everything you could need to cook and they left lots of biscuits for us which were welcome. The bed was comfortable and the house is in a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes walk from the centre of Thirsk. Steve and Wendy provided everything we could need for a great stay and we would definitely recommend their house. Thank you so much!

A lovely little place, situated a stone’s throw away from the market square. It’s as quirky as you might expect of an old converted train, with lots of small nods to its history for you to find inside, and the pretty outside space will help you feel like you’re away from it all.

I returned "home" to Durham as part of my sabbatical from my work in Australia. I was looking for a place close to the city, but also quiet and peaceful too. Chris' place was exactly what I was looking for. If you are lucky enough to experience the beautiful spring weather, as I did, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace watching, the ducks, rowing boats and life in general sail by. It is simply picture perfect! The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could ever want! The beds are clean and comfortable and I slept better than I have in any other space that is not home! I would highly recommend and hope to back soon. If you are considering Chris' place - look no further. Just do it. You will not regret it!

We hard a great stay here! Richard was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The apartment was perfect for two couples and was exactly as described. It was very clean and had everything we needed (including tea, coffee, milk and that kind of thing). Would recommend to anyone.

The Cottage is idyllic and in an excellent location in the heart of Helmsley. It felt private and the cottage was very cosy with lots of amenities, it really is the little things, plenty of tea towels, bathroom towels, dishwasher tablets etc. It was a real treat to have such a large bathroom and a surprise in a cottage. It was just a nice short walk to all the lovely shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Ben was very responsive and had left lots of recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A perfect location for a stay in Staithes. I loved the kitchen, perfect for gathering friends and making wonderful memories.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage in a beautiful part of Yorkshire. We would highly recommend Mullion cottage, Gary is a first class host & the 'welcome pack' he provides is second to none. Quite simply the best Airbnb we have stayed in.
