Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thompson

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. An incredible house and even more kind, generous and helpful host

SPECTACULAR! Tom & Carol are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and genuinely enjoy sharing their Piece of Heaven with guests. Anything you need, 24/7, just ask. Tom’s art & sculpture, inside & out, will blow you away! If you’ve stayed at their former AirB&B, the Art Cabin in the Woods, you’ll remember the little touches that made it magical, surprises at every turn - imagine that x5, that’s what you find here. GORGEOUS indoor space that’s colorful, whimsical and yet upscale & refined, from the radiant heated floors to the fully stocked gourmet kitchen..the cozy living room with the biggest TV I’ve ever seen to the bedroom’s atmospheric wall-mounted fireplace.. the PERFECT mattress & the deepest soaking tub these old bones have ever had the pleasure to melt in! True luxury Outside - hot tub, grill, fire pit, wood-burning sauna…3 decks, seating everywhere, and the views…all speak for themselves. 2 nights wasn’t enough, strongly suggest minimum 3, I’m already planning!!

My friends and I loved staying at Svetlana & Eugene’s place. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed to spend a lovely long weekend upstate while it was very snowy out. Definitely would re-book!

The place is peaceful and a good and solid base to explore Legoland and the beautiful trails and foliage in the area. Richard and Maryann were great, and we are very grateful that Richard helped prepare a fire for us. Just remember to buy some firewood at the local gas station. Easy walk down to the beautiful lake where they keep a small rowboat for use. It rained unfortunately when we were set to go boating so we missed out. Saved for future Legoland visits!

Jessica's restored barn is amazing and one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The photos don't do it justice! The barn is unique and has the most incredible views! The sunset experience is A++, and the deck is the most serene place to have your morning coffee. The most impressive part is how clean the space is- I'm not sure how she does it! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from a popcorn maker to a vitamix. There are spaces to sit, relax and nap in every corner of the house. It is immaculate, thoughtful, peaceful and comfortable. Bonus- if you love music, there is an insanely good CD & record collection. Jessica was so responsive to any of our outreach and we will 100% be back. *10/10 would recommend, this place is a total find!!

We loved our stay at this stunning home! The hot tub and sauna and the views were major highlights for our 10 year anniversary trip! Great for a weekend away!

I really enjoyed the house and the environment as well. The only thing I can tell is hard to find the house especially if you go at night because there was no signal in phones. Other than that everything was amazing! I highly recommend if you want to pass some time with family and friends.

Amazing spot! Peaceful and perfect for a get away

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. It was cute, cozy, clean and quiet. The backyard was beautiful and tranquil. I loved smelling the lilacs from our back covered porch. Although we did not get a chance to use the firepit or tiki bar, it was great that they were available to us. The location is on a quiet street with restaurants and hiking not too far away. I would definitely recommend a stay at one of their places on the property.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and incredibly well-prepared. The host went above and beyond—there was a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. She truly thought of everything we might need, from toiletries to kitchen essentials, including a variety of snacks/breakfast items, coffee and teas. It made our stay comfortable, relaxing and stress-free. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The brick house at Eagle Ridge Farm was a great home base for us to spend a long weekend in the Catskills. The place was well kept, with a comfy bed, and a great view out the windows. Scenic, but only a few minutes from Arkville and Margaretville, where there are great options for food and drink! We were also recommended great hikes by the host. Would happily stay again!

A perfect little apartment in a perfect 300 year-old stone house. Privacy. Serenity. Calm beauty. Accommodating host. Every uptown Kingston attraction and restaurant within a few minutes walk. Easy parking. A good night's sleep. Can't say that it's clutter-free, but who cares, it's really charming and that bathroom is SO relaxing with both a giant rain shower and old fashioned tub. Perfect.

Graham was an excellent host. He was very responsive, had plenty of suggestions on what to do in the neighborhood, and made the checkin process very easy for us. The apartment is exactly as described - it is very clean and comfortable. The backyard reading area is the true highlight, there is a stream overlooking old railroad tracks which can be walked to get to restaurants and the main street. The views in the backyard are amazing and made for a wonderful summer getaway. The town of Beacon itself is lovely, the AirBnB is in a perfect location to keep away from the touristy areas but close enough for easy morning coffee runs and also accessible to nature. Furthermore, Graham was great to chat to and let us keep our stuff in the lockers and hang out in the backyard even after our official checkout. 5/5 would come back again.

Great place close to everything in downtown and an easy drive to surrounding areas. Simple amenities that more than do the trick.

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. Thank you for having us.

The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. Beautiful home, great location and friendly host. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, games room was an added bonus.

Everything was absolutely amazing. We felt at home the entire stay and had everything we needed. Carl was really easy to work with. I mistakenly booked the trip a day shorter than needed. At the last minute I realized my mistake and Carl was quick to respond that adding an extra day was no problem. The system had a problem though allowing me to book an overnight stay on the same day I “checked out,” but Carl worked back and forth with me and with AirBnb help until I was finally able to book that extra night. Carl remained professional, calm, and polite, even though I know that was probably stressful and a pain to deal with. The problem was 100% on me, but he helped to fix it with such grace. I really appreciate the professionalism. I highly recommend both Carl and this specific rental. Thank you!

Our family weekend at Casa Julia was awesome. All 3 generations loved the layout of the house and the beautiful lake across the street. The house was nicely decorated, matched the pictures, and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for relaxation and exploring the Catskills!

This place is incredible. There are so many places for small group conversations and hangout time. It felt like being in two houses. Bedrooms are lovely and varied, kitchen is well stocked. Lighting is soft and plentiful, with lots of natural light during the day. We loved spending time around the fireplace and out on the deck. Thank you for creating such a wonderful property!!

The house is very modern, clean and organized. Nice stay, but too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the outdoor space.
