Waterfront holiday rentals in The Villages

I visited Lorena's place for an extended stay while on a business trip recently and it was extremely helpful to have a place that was a home away from home while I stayed for the three month stretch that I did. This location is in a great community that is quiet and everyone is friendly. The back porch was my "go to" after a long day and was quiet and relaxing. I travel a lot for work and vacation, this was one of my favorite stays excluding the fact that it was for business. If I had questions I had quick, friendly, and supportive assistance from the host and owners. I am defiantly saving this Listing in my favorites and I know that I will be back in the future. Thank you for the great stay and provided comfort!

Great Location, Clean suite, & Reasonable Price.

Amazing place and the host was incredibly helpful, down to surprise details on the kitchen counter and in the fridge. I'd highly recommend this spot, and the outdoor patio is truly something special.

Have booked several times and stayed in multiple units. Have always found Garry’s rentals to be impeccably clean & well stocked. The beds are so comfortable as well!!

My boyfriend and I are from NY and we found this perfect airbnb for us to stay at. The place feels like home, it’s very clean, beautiful and the view is amazing!! It was very close to everything as well. We would 100% go back!

An amazing stay, this is what you picture when you want to go out in the country and have a farm, super peaceful, a ton of amenities and activities, super nostalgic, we had an amazing time

Overall a very cute, well decorated little one bedroom duplex. My only complaint would be that the bedroom must be near a water softener or other large appliance because every night at least once a night I was woken up by some loud mechanical noises. Wasn't an issue for my husband who is a heavier sleeper but being a light sleeper it did bother my sleep somewhat. Otherwise everything else about the place was great with a well stocked kitchen.

Our stay at the lake house was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stunning views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately made us feel relaxed and at home. The house itself was beautifully maintained—clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved spending time on the beach, soaking in the serene surroundings. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making our stay smooth and stress-free. Whether it was the comfortable beds, the well-stocked kitchen, or the helpful guidebook with local recommendations, everything showed a high level of care. Highly recommend this lake house for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We wanted to take a break from the city we live in and found a perfect retreat at this Airbnb. Located on a canal with a peaceful dock where we had our coffee in the morning. We had friendly turtle visits and a young gator that swam over when he saw us on the dock. We will definitely return in the near future.

This home is gorgeous! The view is incredible. The home was well maintained, updated and so bright and airy. The lake had quite a bit of boaters but it wasn’t disruptive. We even saw sea planes taking off and landing. It is just as Natalie described it. She was very receptive and even texted me to let me know of a farmer’s market that was open while we were there. Highly recommend this home.

What an amazing home and property! Everything was exactly as described and we instantly felt at home. The location of the property on the canal and lake leads to stunning views and an amazing connection to nature. The "spool" was perfect for relaxation and we were definitely refreshed in the heat of the day. Valerie is an incredible host, making sure we had every bit of information we needed prior check in, and was always available for questions. When I'm looking for another vacation for total relaxation and peace, I will absolutely be back. I can't recommend this property or host enough!

The home is exactly as described in the listing: home was clean and came with all the boats and tubes for a fun time on the river! Lots of life jackets and goggles to use if you dont have your own. publix and walmart are a short drive in town about 10 min. The home is at the end of a small deadend couldesac with a rental on 1 side and an abandoned house on the other, beautiful nature drive, seems to be in a safe area, it was private. Plenty of space and beds, the home was clean (and we are picky) and everything was up to date not run down or worn out. Nearby fast food and "Swampys" on the water if thats what you like, but If you want quality food, drive about 30 minutes west to Inverness/Yankeetown and try Blackwater Grill, absolutely best food for you money. Being Florida natives, we didnt jump off the dock, too much grass and know what hides in the grass..we saw a huge snapping turtle in it with baby turtles near the dock. overall it was a great stay and we would come back! We had such a peaceful weekend at this serene riverside home. Rebecca is so responsive and helpful! We enjoyed unwinding by the water on the dock and watched family movies in the coziest living room. We went to take our child to swim with manatees which we were able to do at Crystal River then go back and just relax! Loved the quick escape and thank you to Rebecca for opening her home.

This place was absolutely beautiful. From the tree, the living room, the kitchen, the backyard, the bedrooms, bathrooms. It has everything you need. Full kitchen, washer and dryer. Owners replied quickly and professional.

This is our second time coming to Brock’s beautiful place in the summer. The kids absolutely love being able to go out in the springs any time of the day. We love to eat at Swampys, going antique shopping, renting a boat, and most of all relaxing at this lovely home. We hope to be back next summer!

Was in a good location close to lots of shops and eateries. Close to Universal and not far from the highway entrance to hop to Disney. The view from this unit is nice and was furnished with appliance for meal prep. Overall a cozy stay

My family and I stayed at Traci’s place due to a cheerleading competition in the area. It is decorated very vibrantly and my kids enjoyed sleeping in “our game room” as they called it. We would stay again at this beautiful space. Thanks Traci!

This studio was exactly as described PLUS MORE! Everything I needed was right there in the apartment for me and the place was extremely clean and convenient. Any questions or concerns I had were answered right away. I could not have been more pleased with my stay!

Great Stay,Check In Was Easy You Go Right Up To Room With The Codes They Provide. Room Looks Just Like Picture, Everything Was Clean And Set Up Perfect For A Studio. Everything Is Also Close To Where You Stay.

This was the first time I stayed at Geri's place and it was wonderful. Even though I was staying in a condo, the entire complex was very quiet and peaceful. Geri was very responsive and I will definitely consider staying here again when I am back in the area.

Dan was so helpful and very great to work with! I was here for a research conference and his place was close to the convention center. He was also flexible, my last day of the conference I asked for a later check out time and he was able to accommodate which I greatly appreciated. His placed was also a short uber to other locations but was also a quiet oasis to come back to and rest. Very grateful to have stayed here!

We had definitely a great stay at Diogenes’s place. Very easy to find, quiet, peaceful lake view in the back and tons of sunlight in the apartment. We spent most of our nights on the balcony. Place is awesome would definitely stay again! Thank you Diogenes !!
