Holiday rentals with breakfast in The Hague

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

In the middle of the old village surrounded by shops and terraces, you will find this warm cozy cottage. In the morning, you can walk up the terrace in 1 minute for a nice cup of coffee with a bagel or croissant. We were here with our daughter of 2 for whom everything was safely and neatly arranged. High chair, stair gate and a separate room. Ideal! As far as we're concerned, our stay should have taken a lot longer.

We had four perfect days at the Bed&Broodje. Ingrid is a super nice and caring host. She prepared the best breakfast. Every day she brought different rolls or croissants or special treats to our door. We always had syrup, sprinkles, peanut butter and cheese at the apartment. The beds are very comfy and we all slept very good (including our little kids). Our daughters loved the garden with the hammock and chickens around the house..they always stayed outside searching for fresh eggs...but also inside the house we had plenty of games and books to discover :) All in all we loved our stay with Ingrid and would definetely come back any time!! A lovely cottage in an unexpected green oasis. Very private with nice outside area. The sauna is a lovely extra. Very sweet that there is a breakfast in the fridge! And very nice that we are allowed to use the bikes. Good base for museums, beach and surroundings. We had a lovely weekend!

Wonderful stay in the beautiful Betuwe. Beautiful location and you can do many things if you like nature. In addition, you are in a central place and you are quickly in Utrecht or Den bosch if you want to look up the city.

The accommodation and the host are awesome! Lisette is the greatest hostess you can imagine. We had a varied breakfast with, for example, homemade bread, yogurt and eggs. It was beautifully prepared in an extra room. Communication with Lisette was quick and straightforward. The place was clean and nicely decorated. It is a great starting point to go to Delft, The Hague or the sea (we were at Monster Beach). The weather was not so great with us, but we could read a lot in the cozy living room 🤓 The three days were pure relaxation! Thank you!

Very lovely and peaceful place. It felt like home. I love how Karen & Tom did put an effort to make this place a special stay for guests. Clear instructions, friendly & responsive host, spotless place, well equipped kitchen, peaceful & romantic place in the nature. Supermarkets are like 5 minutes driving in a lovely small town. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi. Whenever I’m in the area I would definitely book this place again.

Had a perfect stay with Jessie and Johan. Communication in advance was clear and friendly and the property was exactly as described and we felt right at home there. Homely, fitting in the style of Volendam and wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was well cared for and everything was present. Absolutely recommended so for a stay in Volendam.

Judy is a fabulous bed and breakfast host! She was attentive, punctual, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond any bnb experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this place for the hostess with the hostess as well as the location.

The studio was a wonderful place to stay. Walking distance to beach and supermarket. It was neat and very cleverly arranged. Jacco and Marjolein were very friendly and approachable, with an eye for privacy. We wanted to book again, but unfortunately they are already fully booked. So, the message is to be quick.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive, and made sure instructions were clear. The location was convenient and quiet, with easy access to shops and restaurants. It felt like a home away from home. I recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again. Overall, very good experience all around!

A wonderful, peaceful few days in this beautiful, antique-filled house. We felt so welcome and relaxed immediately after our long journey. Thank you so much for hospitality.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

It was really pleasant stay at the apartment. It is located in quiet and calm part of the city within the island. The apartment was clean, with everything that we needed. Absolutley recocommend it if you are visiting Rotterdam.

Rob was an incredible host. he made us Dutch breakfast and solved all our problems . his house is beautiful

Stayed two nights with Mirjam together with my son. What a great atmosphere, decor and color use in this beautiful old school building. Well done! We have arranged bicycles to easily cycle there in the city and go to Naturalis museum, a beautiful museum. At the agreed time, the delicious breakfast is ready for you at the door. Unfortunately, the weather was not nice enough to have breakfast on the terrace, so we have to come back one more time.🙃 We ate at restaurant Paco Ciao in the evening, which was an experience that is highly recommended! Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

Monika was an incredible host! Very attentive and kind. Very happy to have decided to spend the weekend at their B&B.

Irmi is a fantastic host and a great person. My room was exactly as per the photos and description. Irmi sent across useful information about transport in the area, and was always quick to reply to messages. Nice 20 minute walk to the local train station, with bus option also available from near the house to the station. Amsterdam centre only 20 minutes by train from there. Overall would highly recommend, thanks again for having me stay Irmi and for the lovely breakfasts!

We stayed with Maret and Pepjin for two days, we liked it very much, it was simple and lovingly furnished and the breakfast was very lovingly and abundantly prepared. We were warmly welcomed and always asked if everything was okay. Very clear recommendation from us. We will be happy to come back.

Yvonne was the perfect host and her place was great. Spotlessly clean, great location (20 mins cycle into the centre), and described perfectly. Yvonne made wonderful breakfast every morning and allowed us to borrow bikes too. Her dogs were an added bonus, they were really sweet and friendly! We loved our stay, would come again for sure!
