Great stay and perfect location for visiting Margate. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh and the apartment was very clean and tidy. As per previous guest reviews, there’s an issue with the water temperature when using the shower but we found a workaround that balanced the temperature out (Hint - use the shower attachment connected to the bath taps and put that in the shower holder, it just about fits. You can control the temperature much better). I had to give Arnold a low mark for communication because I literally never heard from him the entire time leading up to the booking and right through to checkout. Although clear and concise, the only information we had was what was on the booking app. This was enough for us to check in and enjoy our stay but an acknowledgment of messages would have been nice (I hope the lack of response didn’t indicate that he was ill). A lovely, short break in a good location.

My stay at the Artist’s retreat was absolutely phenomenal! Caroline was a friendly, responsive and knowledgeable host and the apartment was situated perfectly to explore Margate. I can’t wait to come back!

Brilliant flat in walking distance of main beach and with some excellent restaurants and bars nearby

From the onset communication with Wendy was brilliant. Clear check in instructions , really helpful tips of local eateries . We were really happy with the quality of apartment , it really was a home from home with high end appliances, good quality crockery , coffee machine , washing machine , etc. this apartment literally has everything you need , we packed things we just didn’t need because the apartment had it! The views are really nice overlooking the beach. Biscuits and milk left for a welcomed cuppa on arrival. Everything was also super clean . Would highly recommend .

Nicole’s space offers gorgeous views of the water and the city, and has everything to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend, beware of the 5 flights of narrow stairs, but it makes the view worth it.

We had an amazing two-day stay at this place for my birthday and absolutely loved it! The view was stunning, and Karim was incredibly helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend staying here!

The flat was well-equipped, well-decorated and contained everything (and more) that you could hope for.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Craig and Imogen’s apartment, as a family of 4 with our toddler and baby. It’s one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in with our kids. Spotless, tidy, smells like a hotel - very clean and an all round enjoyable space to be in. Excellent location from which to explore Margate- everything walkable. Everything was super clear right from booking through to check out. Just perfect! Would love to come back again!

Can thoughrely recommend Jenny's place, both Jenny and Tim are very friendly. Patio overlooking the sea and sea views from the bedroom, very generous welcome pack and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more, the lounge was spacious with comfy couches and the bedroom had plenty of clothes hangers and the bed was super comfy, including the pillows,. Every where was super clean, we didn't really want to leave, but,of course, it was time to move on., can thoughrely recommend Jenny' and Tim's place.

Thank you Miguel for a wonderful stay! The flat was so stylish and well kept. We were totally comfortable and really enjoyed how easy it was to get everywhere while also having a bit of distance from the crowds by the main sands. Proximity to the beach and Northdown road made it the perfect spot for our weekend trip. There are so many local and artful touches to the place, we were so glad to see Miguel’s passion for the local scene represented in the home. Thanks again and highly recommend this spot especially for the price!

Marie's home was delightful. Easy self check in with clear instructions. We've been coming to Margate for a few years now and the location is ideal for our fave spots. The gardens opposite were very handy for our pup, who came with us. Marie kindly recommended a few places, so it was nice to discover some new finds. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

The apartment is beautifully presented and so clean - we felt really comfortable straight away. The location is fantastic and perfect for a stay with a dog as the beach is just a few steps away. Would highly recommend this property for a chilled out break

Lovely space, away from the busier area but we'll within walkable distance. Brill views over the sea (great to wake upto!) ...the place itself is spacious and clean and nicely fitted out. Abigail is a great host and I would recommend her place if you want something that's near to the hustle and bustle yet slightly tucked away from it too! Thankyou for a lovely stay x

Jenny was a wonderful host, communicated openly in advance and was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property was lovely, located close enough to Margate town that you can go and visit but far enough away that you also felt slightly removed from the hustle and bustle. Would love to visit again and recommend Jenny as a host in the future.

The flat is really nice, we had a great time there. It was clean and had everything needed. It has a kitchen which we didn't use but seemed well furnished. The location is great, it is near the city center and not far from the train station (15min walk). The price was on par with other accomodation for our dates but a bit expensive for a weekend (maybe due to a festival happening that weekend?). We recommend Caite's flat.

My friends and I had a great stay! The place had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect touch that made our trip even more special. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with three friends for a 50th birthday in town and Helen looked after us so well. Everything just perfect for spending a couple of days catching up and the hottub was the crowning glory. Thoroughly recommended.

The apartment is spotless, cozy, and located in Birchington-on-Sea just a short walk from the sea. Inside, everything feels welcoming and well-prepared — from the comfortable bed with a quality mattress to the clean and practical kitchen and bathroom. It’s a peaceful space that has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a little garden where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. The host was absolutely wonderful — very, very polite, helpful, and always quick to respond. She made everything easy and even allowed early check-in and late check-out, which I really appreciated. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Chloe was a fabulous host, had left milk, wine and tea/ coffee for us to use! There was a great map showcasing the walking nearby and the flat itself was great 😊
