Cottage holiday rentals in Teller County

The Sun Mountain Cottage was so cozy, convenient and cute! This is a great location if you’re wanting a mountain view and visiting Garden of The Gods and Pikes Peak. With the chilly nights we got to relax in the hot tub after a day of adventuring, which was the perfect way to vacay! Beth was very responsive and her place was perfect for us:)

Green Mountain Falls is a beautiful small town and this spot is right in the middle with a view of the lake and the town center. It’s a spacious top floor unit with a huge balcony and private hot tub. Lots of steps, but a great view. This spot is right in the middle of town and the resort includes other hot tubs and guests. You’ll hear other folks having fun. It’s a fun place! Use the box fans there to drown out the sound. Weeknights it was pretty quiet by 10-11. Our kids slept through everything 🙌

I enjoyed staying at The Cottage. It was quaint and had everything you would need for a stay. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and WiFi was reliable (I was with someone who had to be online everyday). We didn't use the hot tub or grill, but they looked nice. The remote location was a surprise given that it's a 5 minute drive from Manitou. There were other guests in the main cabin but they were friendly when we saw them out walking. We did see a bear trying to get into the dumpster but he was just looking for a snack and didn't pay us any attention. I will recommend this spot to others and would stay again. My only wish for The Cottage was a small fenced in area for the dog on a portion of the patio. Would have been nice for her to enjoy some of that fresh mountain air without having to be on leash the whole time.

I walked 10 minutes to get to my professional conference at the Broadmoor Hotel. It’s less expensive than the hotel rooms with more freedom and privacy, and with your own hot tub. I walked 15 minutes the other direction to a mountain canyon park, nature station, and a nice trail that follows a stream up the canyon. If you’re not a hiker, take any number of day trips by car to natural beauty and wonders. It’s in a pleasant wooded neighborhood with close neighbors on either side, but it feels very private. It has that rustic arts and crafts mountain cabin feel and is very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Deer were hanging out in the yard one day.

One of the best stocked places I’ve stayed! All the necessary kitchen supplies as well as cleaning. Lots of games and stuff to do, and the place is taken care of very nicely!

We brought our adult kids for a weekend away from it all and it celebrate my husband's birthday. The location of the home is great (we didn't leave the whole time). All kitchen tools and appliances made it easy to make all of our meals here. the hot tub was fabulous and so peaceful! Brittany was very responsive (very quickly) with the couple of questions I had sent. In addition, one of our family members left an item in the bedroom. Brittany was so helpful in making sure that item was shipped back to us right away! That was so appreciated! We would definitely stay here again, without hesitation!

Such a great spot! The house was very well put together and instantly put my wife and I in a vacation mode. It was extremely family friendly for our toddler, there were toys, books, and Julia put out a Pack-and-play for us. Very clean and overall great spot!

Our stay at the cottage was a peaceful as you can get. Close to restaurants, and the open space behind the cottage is great for hiking. Lots of memories will remain with us for a long time.

For the price this was so perfect and lovely. If possible we’ll be rebooking.

Huge kitchen, lots of space. Well worth the money!

Stayed for over 2 months and really enjoyed our stay! It’s in a small town with about a 20 minute drive to the grocery and only a couple of restaurants closer than that. There is a really nice park about a 4 minute drive away that was our daily dog walk routine with a great river walk. If you’re looking for easy access to hikes/nature and a bit of a slower lifestyle, this is the spot!

Such a lovely place. It was cozy, clean, private and I loved all the updated appliances. The ceilings were high enough for a person over 6 foot too!

Great place to stay with unbelievable scenery! Host was kind & gracious to our family. He even landed us some board games!

We’ve stayed here numerous times and intend to do so again in the future. The home meets/exceeds our needs; especially since we bring our dog. We LOVE the location (so close to Garden of the Gods and there is a grocery store nearby)! We have had no issues walking the neighborhood with our dog; even after dark. We enjoy seeing all the deer. The morning of our checkout, we were locked out (glitch with the lock) and Sophie responded as soon as possible to save the day! Thank you!

A quiet cabin, equipped with all things you could need. Pots, pans, utensils, toilet paper, towels. Water does not have the country water smell or taste, shower has good water pressure for a cabin. Turn onto Portland Dr. and save yourself 20 minutes leaving and arriving. Bed was comfy, no AC, but mountain air does you just fine! Watched the birds eat out of their bird feeders, and observed some deer. Great place, would stay again.

This place was clean, cozy, and had absolutely everything we needed—from sandwich bags to shampoo, conditioner, and even a blow dryer. The attention to detail was impressive. Anytime we saw the owners, they were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. I even messaged them once for restaurant recommendations, and they replied right away with plenty of great options. Great price, great place, and great hosts. Highly recommend!

What a great “home” to celebrate a USAFA graduation and wedding week! Julie was very attentive and responsive. The adorable home was very well-stocked and is in a great location with easy walks to the walking trail and downtown Monument. Thank you for helping to make our week wonderful!

The cottage was absolutely perfect. As a solo traveler, it had everything I needed. The location was near to many things such as Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again.

The Lorrayne Ranch is one of the most beautiful and incredible places in Colorado! It offers horses, cows, goats, donkeys and pigs as an active working ranch! It also features other wild animals such as antelope, mule deer, elk and much more! My wife and I were able to get much relaxation and a spiritual renewal that was needed to deepen our relationship with ourselves and with God! There is so much to do like riding horses and riding ATVs! Plus it’s in a central location to do everything that the Royal Gorge has to offer to an hour drive to Colorado Springs and you can venture into Hartsel and see wild Buffalo and Antelope in the plains! Thank you to the ranch hands, equine trainers and owners of the ranch! Thank you for the relationships made and my wife and I will never forget our stay! See you soon!!

A nice and peaceful location, you can’t hear any traffic in the home. You are surrounded by endless trees, has a stocked pond for laid back fishing, amazing star gazing in a portable Nemo hammock, huge TV that you can connect to in 1000’s of ways, fully stocked kitchen FULLY, internet was perfect for even streaming Netflix, and it reached 80f one day and the home was 66f inside (more than comfortable). I would really recommend this place for a family with kids to experience nature, see wild life, and have fun fishing. Private gate so you never need to worry about strangers coming in. Chris and his family live right by across from the house on the same property and is there anytime you need anything. Would stay here again!
