The Canary House -a Renovated Historic Hidden Gem!

Kick back and relax in this calm, just-remodeled space under the oak trees in historic Buffalo Gap. The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

Oma's House (Pet Friendly)

Oma's House is a peaceful retreat with historic charm, centrally located, and minutes away from the Abilene Convention Center, Downtown, SODA District, Abilene Christian University, and Hendricks Hospital North. The property features a large fenced in back yard, gazebo with outdoor seating and basketball court. Balls and chalk are provided for an impromptu game of hopscotch or four square. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils, as well as basic spices.

Barndo on the Ridge is located in north Abilene not far from downtown and close to S. 1st. The Barndo sits at the top of a hill surrounded by pure west Texas country. Our little unique bungalow is located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, 10 mins to ACU, 9 mins to Hardin Simmons. Close to Downtown, and 10 mins to the Abilene Zoo, and Expo center. We do NOT allow pets.Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busier street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.
