Holiday rentals with lake access in Tawonga

Blue Mill Lodge is perfectly situated in a quiet location but only a short walk into the town centre., It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property is also well set up for dogs, and our wee dog had a great time too. A highlight was watching the black cockatoos from the deck.

I stayed here with a group of friends and the house was fabulous! Not only does it have a beautiful outdoor setting, with the trees, creek and fire pit, it was also really well set up inside; with plenty of coffee mugs, wine glasses and cheese knives to get us through! Really was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away. Comfortable and practical as well as beautiful. Would recommended to any groups looking for somewhere to stay in the King Valley.

Couldn’t find a better place to admire our beautiful Victorian high country with family. The house kept up lovely and toasty on the cold winter mornings as we watched families of deer feeding on the lawn in front of us. What a stunning and truely special place Tania has…not to be missed.

Great central location , loved everything about the accommodation, perfect for families with kids , spacious outdoor with seating and fire pit in the back yard ., kids loved toasting marshmallows!The elegant decor of the rooms, clean and comfortable rooms made peaceful stay. Absolutely exquisite! The home is bathed in beautiful natural light, with stunning views and an abundance of space - perfect for larger groups. It’s even more spacious and picturesque than the photos suggest. The location couldn’t be better, with a scenic lakeside walk right at the back doorstep and shops just a short distance away. Karen was a pleasure to communicate with - friendly, responsive, and accommodating to our needs. The home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Really enjoyed my time here, it was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you’d need in an airbnb. Location was great, quiet and had beautiful views in the mornings. Worth every dollar and I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful girls weekend in this house. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, yet cosy and a short walk to the main street or a walk around the lake. We went late May and the Autumn trees were just divine and there was wood for the fire. A complimentary bottle of wine and nuts was supplied. Juliet and Luc communicated well. Highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in the Alpines! The property was spotless, with clean bathrooms and well-maintained amenities. The pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality utensils, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. One particularly helpful feature was the Tesla charger, which made traveling with our electric car incredibly convenient. The only downside was that the internet wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. However, everything else about the house more than made up for it. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Les Chalets The place was beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable. Nina is a nice person, instructed everything clearly and explained about everything.The location was ideal, with stunning views. We loved staying at Madelynne’s place! We spent the week skiing at Falls Creek and it was so conveniently located, not too far down the mountain. This meant we only had short trips in each day and got to enjoy the great restaurants at Falls with plenty of time to head home for a good rest. The place itself is in a beautiful location. Great self-contained space with an en-suite, kitchenette and everything we needed given our main focus was spending time up the mountain. Madelynne was especially accommodating letting us charge our EV overnight. This was a great help as it can be challenging trying to charge at Falls Creek when it’s busy. Overall, great place, great value for money, and highly recommend to any other skiers or snowboarders!

We stayed up in Falls Creek for a long weekend. Gorgeous place! Nina was a great host, very flexible and easy going. Always quick to respond whenever I had a question! Would highly recommend!!

The cottage was the perfect alternative for us as we wanted somewhere we could prepare our own meals. The kitchen was easy to work in and all the items we needed to prepare and eat meals were provided. (I sometimes judge a place by its tea towels and Kerry’s were a generous size and absorbent, and there was even a second one in the cupboard. ☺️) We needed to wash a couple of items of clothing so it was great to have access to a washing machine and dryer. I was delighted to find some washing powder in the cupboard as well. Kerry had put the heating on for us, as well as a couple of lamps, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is this attention to detail that we very much appreciated.

We had an enjoyable long weekend escape. Although it was freezing outside the cottage was lovely and warm and inviting. The dogs enjoyed the closed in yard and taking in the beautiful surrounds. Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay at Kerry's Cottages! Beautiful outdoor area surrounded by Autumn leaves. The cottage was very comfortable and was close to lots of great walks. Looking forward to coming back !

This was the perfect stay for us. We didn’t want expensive luxury. Just a quiet get away, not too pricey and to live comfortably. That is what we got! It felt like home. Pet friendly is such a bonus, my dog loved exploring the back yard and sitting on the outside dog bed provided. Wonderful lake views, big TV, modern kitchen, laundry, air con, backyard fire pit and outdoor seating plus front porch seating as well. The heart of the town and lake are walking distance. Simmone when needed, was accomodating, kind, understanding and helpful. But she really just let us do our thing and enjoy our holiday. I will be returning very soon. This is my new Beechworth accom ! Thanks again, looking forward to next time!

We visited Beechworth to attend the paranormal investigations tour at the Asylum. The cottage is 3 mins drive from the pub (where we had a great feed) and about 5 from the asylum. Don’t trust Apple Maps, the cottage is ‘just’ out of town. The home is beautiful, and the linen is the softest you’ll find. The water is HOT so if you’re going to spa, only run the hot to the jets then change to cold. Highlight: the duckies walking through the back lawn as we relaxed outside with a drink.

Beautiful grounds, private, perfect location, walking distance to Main Street, rail trail next door, MacNamara cottage has a great layout, lots of space for everyone with separate areas for reading or watching TV, outdoor space is practical. We loved our stay!

Property was great for our little getaway, really close to town making it perfect to park and just walk everywhere! Kitchen had everything you needed for meal preparation.
